Many people criticize David and Yuna because of the panic attack at the dinner table.

How can they just sit there?

Why doesn’t anyone step in?

What kind of childhood did Shane have if his own mother doesn’t know how to handle this?

But every time I watch that scene, I see something else.

Shane doesn’t read to me as emotionally neglected. He reads as meticulously managed. Control has always been his safety net.

He was playing hockey at eight. Structure. Coaches. Systems.

Then the league. Agents. PR teams.

Yuna handles his endorsement deals. Probably his calendar too.

His apartment? Decorated by a designer.

His wardrobe? Bought by a stylist.

His brand? Curated.

Whenever something felt unstable, there was someone to fix it.

Or someone who could be paid to fix it.

And I think that’s exactly why this moment destroys him.

At that table, it’s not about performance. Not about contracts. Not about strategy.

It’s about a possible outing. About public reaction. About things you cannot spin, schedule, or sanitize.

For the first time, there is no infrastructure.

No PR team can guarantee how fans will react.

No money can stop people from judging.

No parent can negotiate with society.

Maybe this really is the first time David and Yuna have ever seen him like that. Not because they’re monsters. But because Shane has never fully lost control before.

My favorite shoes in the winter are my Manitobah mukluks, which are Metis-owned and participate heavily in community initiatives with other indigenous nations to train and support artists. They also partner regularly with artists from other nations on their shoes to create custom editions. Currently they are collaborating with Rosa Scribe (Cree), Janae Grass (Sac & Fox), Atheana Picha (Salish), and Melissa Peter-Paul (Mi'kmaw). They also host an indigenous market that showcases and promotes indigenous artists.

Plus they're warm as hell and the sheepskin lining means I don't have to wear socks, which is extremely nice sensory comfort. So that's nice as well.

What is open source AI?

It's a program that publicly shares its code for free online, so that anyone can use it for themselves. This means that anything this AI is trained on could eventually make its way into any business, social media site, etc. That uses this code. Or, if not, it'll have the ability to harvest content as well as this.

Even since the app doesn't allow AI openly on the videos themselves, the app is likely to use our original content to train its AI. You might have seen that some AI have experienced a positive feedback loop of declining quality, training itself on other AI slop until anything it produces is unintelligible.

This is likely an attempt to prevent that in video format

Then, any other company that wants to use the code can use this better trained AI to make it even harder to recognize AI across the board.

Hi I've been seeing a lot of posts with this weird tone so here's your friendly reminder that the RACK (risk aware consensual kink) kink framework doesn't actually mean "practice the safest possible kink at all times". It means there is ALWAYS risk and you should be aware of what those risks are before engaging.

A basic example is that I keep seeing that post with the safe impact zone chart going around being talked about as though it's the only way to do RACK impact. This is not true. The information is good and important to have, yes, but "safe impact zones" still have their risks, and there will always be people who want to be hit in "unsafe" ways. The correct RACK approach would be to properly research the risks of the type of impact you're planning to do, and make sure that you're comfortable with that level of risk before engaging in the activity, AND that you know what aftercare should be given. THIS is what risk-aware means. It does not mean "under no circumstances should anyone ever hit you in the wrong spot". That's kind of the antitheses of RACK.

RACK is about knowing the risks and consenting. It's informed consent. It's about doing what you want to do as safely as is reasonable. There is risk inherent in every type of kink. RACK says go ahead, have your fun, but just know what you're getting into first.
