don’t get me wrong I love Leigh bardugo but why does every single POC character have a white person ship 😭 for eg

Heck even Jespers parents 🤦🏽

It’s not a big deal, just a trend I’ve noticed

What I love about writing is honestly being able to self project onto characters & the world you’ve created- create wonderful, badass, lovable characters but giving them some of ur small flaws or giving them what u wonder about and trying to make sense of the world through them- through this fake glass world that you’ve created. It’s magical.

I’m still not over how perfect the Shadow & Bone show is. Like how did they get the casting to be that freaking perfect? And the acting is so good. And the humor is great. And the crows are amazing. And the chemistry between the characters is better than I could have imagined. It feels too good to be true because I have never seen a Netflix adaptation that came even close to being as good as the novels as Shadow & Bone has.

Jesper: Has an affiar with the principal, very popular, everybody wants him

Inej: amazing student, high marks in all her classes

Nina: failing her classes but not because she can’t do it- she just simply doesn’t want to. Favourite class is lunch

Wylan: Excelling despite his affliction

Matthias: Has 0 friends. Too busy scowling at everyone. Everyone is scared of him.

Kaz: *sits in the library during lunch for an edgy & smart aesthetic to impress Inej*

 I made the top picture by hand and scanned it. I’m sorry about the messy writing as I tried my best to make it as neat as possible, but my penmanship is not the best. 

THE FICTION WRITER’S CHEAT SHEET PICTURE DOES NOT BELONG TO ME.

So anyway, I got a few questions about planning stories and honestly I don’t plan them. I just do it from the top of my head–which is very bad, I know. But I am now starting to plan my stories and it does make it a bit more manageable and organized. Soooooo I went researching for tips and found something called Fiction Writer’s Cheat Sheet. I liked the idea of the “W Graph” so I decided to make it by hand in different colors. Then scanned it to have a digital copy to work on it through my computer in a pdf file or if I want to do it by hand I can just print one out. Always  make sure to “save as” a different document. 

I am not sure if something like this is already out there, but I thought it would be easier to have something printable out there and just plan it out, not having to struggle with the format.
