“Elf is the cutest movie ever!” Daisy said with a giggle. It was now the holiday break and she refused to get out of her favorite teddy bear onesie. Even going on an airplane to Arendelle with Logan in a day or two she was positive she’d stay in her onesie. “I have a deep connection with Buddy the Elf you know?”

“Okay, but Daisy, we’ve already watched this movie twice. Don’t you have any other movies?”

Hearing those words, Valentina tried to make her most intimidating face. Unfortunately, she broke out into a smile as the girl clicked the photo.

Jaxon paid close attention to her, it was always interesting to see how other humans thought. There was always William, but he grew up with him and he already knew everything about him, it wasn’t that amusing anymore. “You’re not at home anymore, and unless you have family or childhood friends here, I think you can do whatever you want to do. Crying, screaming, the academy is yours.” he made a gesture to get his point across and smiled kindly at the girl. He had a bit of an idea of what she meant. Even though he didn’t have any personal problems with his emotions, and his father didn’t really mind either. There were a few kids that made fun of him because of it, it wasn’t the same thing as being cornered by your family, but he understood. “In your case, you could see it as a new beggining. Cry and let it all out and then be like ‘Well my emotions are out of the way, what’s going to come next? I’m ready for it’ That could be helpful, maybe?” he nodded, “Yeah, but it might be fake.”

“Easier said than done. I can’t live one way for fourteen years of my life and suddenly switch gears-- it’ll take some time to adjust if I do at all. Besides, I’m not trying to look insane in front of my peers.” Valentina wiped under her eyes, finding it no longer necessary to hide it from the boy in front of her. “What if I don’t need a new beginning? What if I like just how I am now? New beginnings always bring problems after words. Besides, I’m a big fan of finishing what I start-- I can’t quit when I’m barely getting started.” She liked to think she was ready for whatever the future may have brought her, but when it came, she fell apart.

   a soft sigh left joey’s lips as he wrapped his arms protectively around the girl, he didn’t understand why she felt the need to say things that she knew weren’t true. “saying i miss you and apologizing doesn’t make up for the fact that i know pretty damn well that you’re not telling the truth.”

“I know. Part of me was just hoping you had forgotten almost everything you know about me. The other part of me knew that was impossible and was just hoping you’d ignore it and make me happier than I obviously am right now. Can you do that for me?” Valentina had her eyes closed as she spoke, her arms staying around the boy. “Maybe we can go eat or something.”

“Hey.” A false look of hurt flashed across Nemo’s features, voice resembling that of a child as he pouted in the others direction. “That’s it   — I’m finding a new best friend.” Despite folding his arm’s stubbornly across his chest, his attempt at seriousness lasted seconds, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, even with his persistence. “There was me thinking you had emotions, my bad.” At that, he slug his arm casually around her shoulders, eye’s dancing in amusement. “I didn’t know you could cry  — I always thought tears would kill you.”

“Good luck with that, I don’t think it gets much better than this,” she said, sticking her nose up in the air. Feeling his arm around her, she let out a chuckle. “I’m surprised they haven’t yet. I’m pretty sure I’m broken, though. I don’t cry, this is weird. How do people cry all the time? Seems like a real drag.”

“I don’t know. I guess I never thought of it as a bad thing. I see it as a way of relieving whatever I may have going on inside.” he shrugged, he never had any problems with being emotional. Morph was also an extremely emotional being, so he just saw it as a normal thing. “Weird how? I don’t get it?” he was a bit confused, usually after crying he’d feel like a big weight had been taken off his shoulders, but maybe it was different for someone else? “I don’t know if it’s true, but tears are supposed to be cleansing, so it can do that to your skin too. Also depending on the reason you’re crying for they have different chemicals they have different benefits.”

“I’ve never had that type of support at home. At home it was basically if you cry, you’re a weak baby.” Growing up with four brothers was never easy. With the age they were in, masculinity was a big thing in her household. A strong woman, what some may consider lacking femininity, was raising the five of them. With her brothers, they used to see Valentina as weaker just for being a girl. Their mother quickly changed their mindset after showing them what women could do, but emotions was still something that wasn’t big in their family. They showed love through teasing and hardly ever cried, even if they were sad. “Because after I cry, something bad usually happens. And usually crying is supposed to be the end, so when I cry it’s like, what’s next?” Valentina furrowed her eyebrows as he explained his findings to her. “Really? I’ve never heard that.”

“On that we are scarily similar, then.” Roxie replied, pleased with Val’s response. Pushing a stray lock of raven hair behind her ear, Roxie quirked a brow and asked, “However, you do seem… off.”

“Slightly off, yeah. Things aren’t so great back home and I’m not allowed to go. Really puts a damper on things.”

Seeing that smile brightened Khamisi up significantly as well, his mood falling along her lines. “Tell me about it. Kenya is so hot all the time, it’s close to the Equator, so i’m not used to how cold it can get here.” He shivered, shaking his head. “Maybe i can make you a nice cocoa, or eggnog?” Khamisi offered gently.

“You’re from Kenya? That’s pretty cool. I’m from Michigan and it gets pretty cold there so I’m used to this. I’ve never had eggnog so I guess I’ll pass on that one, but a hot chocolate sounds nice.”

Despite Nemo’s usual lack of affection towards Valentina on any other given day, even with their friendship, he still happily accepted the embrace in return. Both arm still remained loosely locked around her shoulders, a small bubble of laughter passing his lips in response to her words. “Oi, at least I wasn’t the one crying.” His tone held teasing, attempting to make light of the situation. “Look’s like water doesn’t make you melt, go figure.”

Valentina pulled away long enough for her to gently hit him in the chest with the back of her hand. Wiping her damp face and rubbing it off onto the boy in front of her, she shook her head. “Hey now, this might be the only salt water you see all year! Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.”

ahhh well the only rl ship i have going for me right now is val n joey ?? but they’re cute in their own way ok. their whole thing may just be a lot of back and forth banter but its what works for them. joey being val’s first love always makes me a lil :(( bc shes not an emo baby but he makes her emo . but if we’re talking any rp ship ever , i have two other ones i rly liked ?? one was from another disney rp , where i played sweet mary gibbs , aka boo from monsters inc. she went dancing in the rain with morph from treasure planet , and it was history after that. she was his first kiss, his first girlfriend, his first i love you– they dating for like 8 months before we both went inactive . but they were so cute and everyone loved them . another ship is actually from a tw*tter rp i was in .. i had a cute lil girl named susana and ever since the opening , she had chemistry with this boy named adam . however it was unnoticeable to just the two of them , and susana had gotten herself into a relationship with another guy 3 . but he left the rp , and soon , susana found herself back at adam , who knew her more than the other had. their first date was to disneyworld and everyone was relieved when they finally got together .

i haven’t ever rly played a wild child ?? like most of my characters have been innocent lil babies because deep down , i am an innocent lil baby . innocent lil babies are safe places for me and i can never feel like im playing them wrong (or so i think– i didn’t think i was doing a good job with athena for the first month and a half i played her… it was so bad i thought about leaving sdolghjkf IM GLAD I DIDNT THO !)
