The front desk watches the new children’s section volunteer struggle and it’s honestly quite hilarious

holding kids up at arms length while running to the restroom

shelving books with a kid on each leg

waiting semi-patiently as a 3 year old slowly pulls nearly every book off a shelf

breaking down while trying to organize the nonfiction section

Person A is trapped at a younger cousin’s Birthday party at a Chuck E Cheese. Its dreadful. Hundreds of sticky children running and screaming around like they just won the lottery. Person A feels personally attacked by all these snotty 7 year olds. They have resigned themselves to hide out at the designated table with their hood up and earphones on even though their phone died about a half hour ago.

There is one upside to this experience and it’s coming this way to pick up used plates and take refills. 

Person B is the adorable waiter who seems to have a smile and patience for everyone. Even the blond kid that peed in the corner when he got too nervous. And definitely enough patience to wait for Person A to to get the balls to start a conversation.

Person A is an angsty hero who thinks they’re a big badass/lonewolf

Person B is a reporter trying to find out Person A’s secret identity. They are supposed to be enemies because Person B will do anything for the story but more often than not Person B ends up helping Person A escape badguys instead. A lot. And usually on accident.

So Person A saves the city and Person B saves them.

Person B is constantly being put in danger but they don’t really give a shit as long as they can get their picture of Person A for the front page of the papers.

Preserum!Steve/Prefall!Bucky

Superhero AU

Steve really wants to be a superhero. Bucky thought he was joking. He wasn’t.

In order to keep steve from hurting himself (or any innocent bystanders he’s trying to help) he decides to become Steve’s “sidekick”. But he just sorta ends up becoming a sort of den mom.

whenever Steve is dealing with bad guys ((chained up, witty banter @badguys etc)) Bucky walks in like “Steve you forgot your inhaler-Oh. Oh hi! I’m Bucky-I mean *gruff voice* the Winter Soldier” or “Hey, You’re Stevies first villain! Would you mind taking a picture?”

I landed!!

Not sure how many of you have noticed the change but I am moving from Cali to , NY and my plane just landed not too long ago! I am super excited to be here Although i still fear the cold ((i actually like feeling my toes thank you very much)) tomorrow i will be at my college and getting ready for the year :) hopefully i can post two AUs on the drive down tomorrow. see yall later!!

Yesgood. But alternately:

it’s gabriel drunkenly serenading 

pretending to be castiel because he and that guy whatever his name was were good together and also it was hilarious and he told cas he should serenade him but the kid just sulked at him so gabriel is going to do it on his behalf and this was totally the right house wasn’t it? huh. who’s that tall frowny long-haired drink of water leaning out of an upper window and grumbling at him about it being TWO IN THE MORNING and also dude are you actually trying to serenade someone with madonna? who are you anyway?

so gabriel promptly forgets about castiel and that other guy whatever his name was and pretends he was deliberately serenading tall frowny long-haired drink of water. he switches to taylor swift, making up different lyrics as he goes along for maximum innuendo and applicability to the current situation. TFLHDOW is just crosses his arms and glares at him and snarks back to everything and is generally adorable and it is the best not-date Gabriel has ever had. Finally he gets too enthusiastic dancing around and trips over a flower pot (who keeps flower pots in their front yard anyway) and goes down with a crash and before he knows it TFLHDOW is right there leaning over him and helping him up and laughing at him and being all concerned and then there are some scratches on his knee so obvs he has to be helped inside for bandaids and antiseptic

… where he finds TFLHDOW’s big brother, sitting in the living room with his own little brother, as Castiel earnestly explains to the cat about his own failed attempts at drunken serenades.
