It's seriously fucked up that there's no way to speak frankly with a professional about suicidal thoughts without the looming threat of involuntary institutionalization and, by extension, psychiatric abuse. How, exactly, are suicidal people supposed to be aided in not feeling suicidal if they aren't allowed to safely express it through what are supposed to be the appropriate channels?

i fucking love this constant cycle of depression we find ourselves in because no one fucking ever lets us heal

i'm about to get thrown back into headspace and banned from fronting just because i'm depressed (coping mechanism to prevent disasters happening at front, fucking sucks but there isn't a way around it) and all that does is leave the depression to fester

we won't ever heal if we keep doing this but right now there isn't another choice that keeps us safe and functional

Ads: I'd say honestly Dabi, which is odd because our hyperfixation holder for MHA absolutely despises him (no clue why). While we didn't go through anything as intense as his past, I have a mindset very similar to his. I'm not going around burning anything down obviously, but I hate "false heroes" as much as he does. As well, I'm very careful with who I talk to, and if I'm being honest, I'm just as desperate for attention and affirmation that I'm not as horrible as I seem to be. I certainly don't tend towards the sociopathic side like he does, but I find him relatable in a lot of ways

🍭: Mina! I love her so much, and I'm just about as extroverted as she is! While I don't have the awesome dance skills she does, I am super bubbly and confident in myself. I do also struggle in school (I often get kicked out of front on weekdays during the school year so I don't mess up our grades) and while I can put on brave face I'm also terrified a lot and yeah :D also shipping people is my jam

he would not fucking say that, but with disability.. he would not fucking be able bodied. sick n tired of characters walking away from multiple life changing injuries without a scratch. let’s get some natural consequences in here.

give that knife/sword fight survivor nerve damage. give the character who was shot in the gut a stoma. give that fire survivor lung damage and an oxygen cannula. give that leg injury survivor a cane. give that starvation survivor gastroparesis. give that spinal injury survivor a manual chair or powerchair.

while we’re at it, give your characters congenital disabilities too, just because. give them intellectual and development disabilities. give them acquired and postviral illnesses. dare to make somebody bedbound. for me.

most entertaining/amusing thing that happened in the headspace recently?

Oo that is such an excellent question- due to the way our system functions, we don't often get glimpses into what happens in the headspace, but one hilarious thing I remember recently would be Vi watching the entirety of the titanic despite none of us having seen it. that was chaos XD

another vaguely funny moment would be AJ coming to visit the house (idk why cider took a break from her guardian post, but that's none of my business lol) and Levi annoying the hell out of her for a solid hour or so. Jess was also incredibly annoyed as she was trying to make pasta and Levi just wouldn't leave the kitchen. And 💷 had to wrangle all the kids... it was that kind of domestic chaos I find amusing.
