The chantings and shouts fill the streets as you walk beside Keigo, aka Hawks, your best friend. His hands are stretched behind his neck while walking around with a lazy smirk on his face.
He has always been this confident and proud about his achievements. Even you, who have known him for quite a while now, have never seen him be humble about his achievements or quirk. But you never try to intervene with it because you know he'll end the conversation with a simple smirk.
Once he was able to reach the hardest in such a young age, girls found it easier to fall for his careless act and classic smirks even when he was fighting a top notch villain.
And you know all of this in a very detailed way because while these were happening, you were right by his side. Keigo used to always sign autographs while you were waiting with a villain in surrender.
Being a popular pro-hero specifically amongst young girls may not tire him, but it sure is tiring you. Every time you go out to patrol with him, his fans screaming louder than a tire screeching. There was one time when a girl asked him who you are, when your rank is almost the same as his.
"Your fan girls are all over you again." You say with a roll of your eyes just when a girl fell from screaming his name. He shrugs lazily while grinning at you after another successful mission.
Keigo winks and waves his hand at some girls with a smile before turning to you again. "You can't blame them for knowing who to fan over."
"You guys look really cute together!" A girl yells from the crowd, causing both of you to turn your head in sync and then look at each other in a slight shock. His hand has never been this fast to grab your shoulder, throwing an arm around you and pulling you closer to him.
"What can I say? My mission in life has always been to look cute with my girl here." He replies sarcastically to the girl as his hand squeezes and rubs your shoulder. He pulls you in closer to press his cheek against you while smirking. You can hear the sudden screams after his response. You guys continue walking through the car-free street, the crowd doesn't seem to end somehow.
You can't help but roll your eyes again. You always end up rolling them whenever you're with him because of his behavior towards you.
Keigo turns to face you again only to raise his brows in surprise. "Whatcha looking at me like that?" He shakes his head and raises his hand to show he is 'innocent.'
You give him a bored look, your arms are crossed, not showing him any sign of closeness you would usually show. His hand gives your shoulder a slight squeeze again to make you talk. "It's nothing.." you say, shaking your head as you guys finally reach the UA building.
Keigo doesn't probably notice what he is doing but whenever you guys are outside, whenever you win something, he becomes more affectionate in public. He treats you as if you guys are a couple and there have been several times when he didn't correct people who assumed you guys were dating.
"Oh come on, you can't just leave me all curious." His hand that's wrapped around your shoulder finds your cheek and pokes it to get your attention.
"Fine, you wanna know why I'm acting so bored and grumpy?" You say as you pull away and gently shoving his hand away. "I am done with you acting like we are dating in front of people, like I'm your girlfriend. You always say things you never mean and I'm done with it. "
He genuinely looks flabbergasted, a rare sight coming from him. You stand in the empty lobby of UA with your arms uncrossed this time. "You think I don't mean my words?" He asks.
"I think? I know, Keigo. You don't mean a single word that comes out of your mouth, especially in front of your little fan girls. I am done with this act."
His eyes can't find yours this time, unable to look at you after your words. It's almost like he feels guilty and hurt. "I don't do acts.." He mutters under his breath. You have never seen him look guilty or sound small.
His wings closes behind his back, no longer showing off his red feathers. "Don't do acts? Then what are those, Keigo? Am I schizophrenic or something?"
He clasps his hands together in front of his face, pressing the sides against his mouth before pointing at you with the tip of his fingers. He inhales sharply before narrowing his eyes. "Never said that but might check that out once you have time."
Just when you are about to scoff and say something else, he interrupts you by grabbing your shoulders. "I mean it when I say I don't do those things. I know I don't sound very trustworthy when saying that, I mean I wouldn't trust me too if I were you but don't let that one get into your mind. You should trust me with this one."
You withdraw with a head move as you furrow your brows in confusion at his words. "I mean 99.9% of my words when I'm near you." Keigo says as he gently shakes your shoulders.
"What? Do you really expect me to believe you when you say you mean it when you say your mission in life is to be cute with your girl, who is me?" You ask as you cross your arms, your nose scrunches.
"Those are the facts, trust me."
"You know that you can't expect me to trust you when you tell me you also wouldn't be trusting you if you were me, right?" You raise a brow as you lean your weight on one hip.
"Now, you can trust me. Because I mean it. I do!" He points a finger at his chest before speaking again in a much more frustrated tone. "I'm not that much of a liar when it comes to my feelings for your oblivious ass!" Keigo jabs his finger at you this time and pokes your chest.
"Feelings? Don't lie to me, you wouldn't have feelings for me." Your words causes him to roll his eyes and scoff at you before grabbing your wrist and pulling you closer.
The second you are closer, his arm wraps around your waist and his lips meet yours. The kiss is soft even though he aches to give more. His hand flexes on your back before making a fist over your hero costume. Your eyes widen in shock before closing shut.
You have never imagined his lips to be this gentle against yours, not like you ever imagined his lips against yours.
You know that's a lie tho.
Even after seconds, he doesn't pull away. He moves his lips against yours to give a deeper and slower kiss before eventually pulling away, only enough to look at your face.
"See? I do mean them. So don't doubt my words when I say my mission in life is to be with you."

Traveling across Teyvat, exploring new nations, making new friends, helping the nations, trying to find your brother, encountering the Archons and then helping them save the entire nation…
Being a traveller has been nothing but exhausting especially when all you want to do is to find your brother. Traveling every nation only to be used was never your plan. Making new friends throughout your journeys was never what you wanted. But alas, people are cruel. They make you want to never leave them. They make you get attached to them.
Liyue has been more than just a nation to you. The warm energy and the beautiful sights along with its people, always manages to steal your heart. Thus, even though Mondstadt is the nation you keep returning to, Liyue has managed to become something more to you.
Being welcomed by its people and being with people that are like you is actually heart warming and just what you need after a long, tiring journey.
One of the worst parts is when you have to explore other nations and find the archons. During exploration, you have to leave for a year, sometimes even for two years to find your brother. Leaving people away in the nations you have to forget for the time being hurts more than anything. However, you know you don't have any other option.
Though, Xiao is the one person that you hate to leave behind.
A year has passed. A long, full year has passed since the last time you went to Liyue so of course you have missed the land you call your home. A year ago on this day, you promised Xiao you would see the lantern rite festival with him. However, as it's obvious, you missed it, returning eight months after the lantern rite festival.
You roam around the silent and empty grounds of Liyue under the soft breeze and the calming sight of the moon and the stars shining in the sky. The Wangshu Inn is pretty and beautiful as always.
You walk over the bridge however you can’t help yourself but stand there, right in the middle, feeling bad because you just returned out of nowhere, after a long year of silence. You know what it probably did to all those that were waiting for you.
One familiar sound distracts you from your thoughts that eats you alive. The teleportations of a Yaksha.
You turn on your heels to see who is behind you but the only thing that rests on the ground is a flower. Qingxin.
You exhale the breath you have been holding for the past minute and quietly walk over to get the flower from the ground. You crouch and take it into your hands before standing up again.
You examine the flower, the usual Qingxin, nothing different. Although, it makes you sigh. The familiar, beautiful flower reminds you of all those memories you tried to bury for every time you leave Liyue to not get hurt by it even more.
"You're back." You get startled with the cold voice. You know the owner of that voice, very well in fact. The coldness and anger is obvious even in his calmness. You immediately turn around to meet his gaze.
Xiao.
His arms are crossed, standing far away from you on the bridge, keeping his distance. "Xiao..." You let out without even meaning to. You were just thinking in your mind. "Yeah... yeah—I'm back."
His eyes can't find yours for a second, as if the second he looks into them, everything in him will break. "How long will you be staying this time?" He asks with his usual stoic expression. He keeps the distance between you, like it's a need to be distant.
"About a month before I leave for Fontaine, I have questions for the hydro archon as well." You say with a guilty expression. You can't help but feel the worst after those words.
You just got to Liyue, yet you already know when you will be leaving.
"I know it's a short time, yet I don't have any other choice. And for the time being, I want to spend my time with you guys." You say with a soft smile as you step forwards, trying to close the cold wall he built the second your eyes met.
A month... it seems so little compared to the time he wants to spend with you. Xiao uncrosses his arms and turns to his right to lean against the railings of the bridge, to stare into the moon.
"A month isn't long enough."
"I only have a month, everything is already planned. I'm sorry..." He knows.. he knows after a month, you are going to be gone for another year or two. And he doesn't want that, at all. He doesn't want to be left alone once again.
Xiao's face finally turns to you, to face you, to look into your eyes again. His expression hardens again after hearing your words confirming his fears. His eyes show all kinds of emotion.
"You're always leaving." Xiao says with frustration obvious in his voice. He turns around and steps towards you. The thought of losing you, the thought of not seeing you again for another year is making his chest ache and he can't stand that. "Why can't you just stay?" His voice cracks just slightly, the light and small vulnerability comes up to the surface.
“You know I can’t…” You sigh as you look away before meeting his gaze with a soft expression. You feel guilt and fear all over again. “I am a traveler after all, this is what I do, Xiao." Your nails dig into your palm.
Xiao's hands tightens into fists at his sides, the cool night air doing nothing to calm the turmoil inside him. His usual silent demeanor cracks, exposing more of the vulnerability in his eyes. "So that's it?" He asks roughly. "You'll just keep leaving Liyue... me, like it means nothing?"
"No! It means a lot I swea—" But he interrupts you.
Wind rustles between you, carrying the faint scent of the qingxin flowers. He exhales sharply, fighting to steady himself before speaking again. "I didn't promise to stand by your side just so you could walk away every time."
Not even Paimon is aware of this but Xiao has always been the one to make you wish you hadn't become a traveler to find your brother. "I know I should stay, I know I shouldn't let you down. Trust me, it hurts me as well whenever I have to leave you and everyone here in Liyue. I want to stay as well but I can't. You know I can't." You shake your head while looking at the bridge's wooden ground.
Xiao's jaw clenches, hard enough to probably break a tooth or something. He also knows you are right but he is unable to accept it. He is selfish, he knows he is and he knows this is very unlike him, however he can't let the one person he loves leave him like it's nothing. His hand reaches out to gently grasp your wrist, just so he can get the slightest touch of you. "But you can, you just won't!" His voice rises slightly, revealing the desperation he was trying to conceal. He takes a shaky breath, trying to calm himself as he looks into your eyes. "Why is it that you always have to constantly chase after everything but me!? You never hesitate when it's for them. But with me you always do. It has never been about getting back here."
Your eyes widen at his yelled words. You have known him for years now but never once saw him like this or heard him this angry with you. "It's about saving them! It's about finding my brother!" You also raise your voice but you can't help your trembling.
The grip around your wrist tightens as the signs of heartbreak shows in his expression. The mention of your brother only fuels his frustration.
This happens whenever you mention finding your brother. To him, once you find your brother, everything will come to an end and you will be done with anything from Teyvat and return to your own world.
"And what about us? What about what we could have?" Xiao's eyes searches for yours, begging you to understand the toll your constant search is taking on him. The raw emotion in his voice is nearly palpable, it's unavoidable. "Are you going to abandon what we have, what we could be, in pursuit of something that might never happen?"
The harsh truth of the possibility of not finding your brother hurts you, it stings so bad that you are reminded you want to quit everything altogether once more. "What are we going to have? Hm? What could we be?" You put on a humorless and an unhappy smile on your face that just screams desperation and pity. It's almost filled with despair.
You know the truth. You know what might or might not happen. And you also know, this thing between you and Xiao might never happen when you are so stuck on finding your brother or saving other people. Even though you hold onto the idea of finding your brother so dearly, no matter what, it seems like you cannot hold onto Xiao, even when you know it brings out an ache in him that he does not want.
His gaze hardens, voice dropping to a whisper like he carries the weight of centuries. The weight of not being able to reach you completely, when he has opened himself to you, when he has accepted to be yours, when he has shown you his fears and vulnerability he does not wish to carry as a Yaksha.
"We could be enough, if you'd stop leaving, if you'd let it be." His thumb hesitantly brushes against your knuckles as his hand lowers to reach yours, a touch betraying how badly he wants to anchor you here.
You scoff softly like it's a dream that can never be true. "It sounds so simple when you say it this way." Your tone is shows how tired you are of this. "But it never is. If I stay, I won't be me anymore. And I doubt you'd actually want that."
His eyes widens just a moment before looking away angrily.
"Then go." Xiao says rather coldly, colder than any of this words as his hand falls away from yours slowly, fingers brushing against your palm softly without letting go completely. "I won't stop you, I wouldn't even know how anyway." He quietens for a moment before continuing.
"But don't speak to me or even look at me as if this is easy to accept." His eyes finally meet yours again. "I'm not as unaffected as you think." He spits the last words as he crosses his arms before disappearing into thin air, leaving you all alone right on the middle of the bridge, under the night that witnesses the weaknesses and tears.

Being Hajime Iwaizumi's little sister, by only two years, means dealing with Tooru all the time after school, after practice matches and hangouts. And it has always been the worst time of the day for you since all he does is make fun of you and pinch your cheeks and ruin your hair. You have always hated to come back home after school because you know he is there waiting to play with you like a volleyball. Iwaizumi always yells at him for it. At least your brother is on your side.
You sigh as your hand reaches for the door handle of your house. Your parents aren't home like usual however the halls are strangely calm and quiet, nothing like your usual greeting but anyways...
"Brother!" You call out after placing your shoes into the shoebox, you look around but no one seems to be around so you just sigh before walking towards your room to take a quick nap.
The slight running water sounds comes from Hajime's room so you automatically assume he is taking a shower after his practices. He really hates being smelly around the house so the first thing he usually does is to start for the showers.
The second you enter your room, you let out a scream at the sight of a boy looking at the pictures on your desk. You throw your bag at him and then take a plushie from the small couch right beside the door and aim it at him. "What are you doing in my room!? Get out!" You yell at Tooru who covers his face to protect himself for further attacks coming from you. And you fulfill his expectations by throwing a book at his leg that overs his stomach area and he screams like a girl after flinching.
"Pause!" He yells, his eyes are shut before he slowly opens them to look at you. He fixes his posture, clothes and hair after noticing you aren't throwing another thing at him. "What? Scared I'll murder you?" Tooru steps forwards with his classic smirk on his face.
"No matter how much I've known you from childhood, you are still a boy and a threat. One that almost begs to be beaten by my brother. You cross your arms confidently and shake your head at him to annoy him.
"Me, the almighty Oikawa Tooru? A threat? Pfft, don't make me laugh. That's like the stupidest thing I have ever heard, at least outside the court," he shrugs before continuing, "Your brother can beat the hell out of me, for me, nothing beats your scared reaction." He is still grinning at you like he hasn't just gotten attacked by a bag, a plushie and a book, a thousand pages book.
"My scared reaction? You were screaming like a girl, hell, your voice was more high-pitched than mine." You scrunch up your nose at him with a pout. Your lips are naturally pouty yet he never misses to make fun of that too.
Tooru walks up to you close enough to lean in and pinch your cheeks, rubbing and squeezing them. "Now, don't go pouting again. You know what, you look exactly like a duck. I don't even know how I never noticed that, silly me... Maybe I should call you quack, how does that sound? Quack quack." He says while kneading your cheeks.
"You're ruining my make up." You say, unfortunately in a funny voice because he keeps on playing with your cheeks which messes up your lips as well. He is also making, probably without even noticing, stupid faces while playing with your cheeks.
"Do I genuinely give you the vibe that says 'I care about your make up' when I can play with your cheeks like stress balls all day?" he makes a disgusted face at the thought and you roll your eyes, well knowing not even the hardest push can stop him.
He then just cups your cheek, slightly squeezing them but just holding them while watching your expression. His eyes are slightly wide open, he is smiling rather than revealing a smirk like his usual.
"Tooru? Where the heck are you again?" You hear your brother yelling from outside your room, his footsteps getting closer.. Fear flashes through Tooru's face yet he does no movement to let go of your face like he is holding onto you. "Tooru?" He calls out before pausing. "What the fuck are you doing in my sister's room!?" He says aggressively after seeing him in your room while holding your cheeks with his face close to yours more than ever.
"Hah... nothing, nothing.." He replies awkwardly before slowly pulling away and patting your head. "Just chatting with chibi-chan here. Right?" Tooru turns to you, kindly giving you threats.
"No. He was squeezing my cheeks and looked like he was about to kiss me." You may have exaggerated the last part but you don't care since he just said he doesn't care if your brother beat the hell out of him.
"What? No, Iwa chan! Nuh-uh! That's going to happen on her birthday, not today!" He jabs a finger at your lips. You place a hand over your chest and gasp dramatically, well knowing your brother will always be on your side.
"You were going to kiss her!?" Hajime yells angrily as he grabs the volleyball that sits in the hallway before my room. I nod while pouting and frowning.
"He was, brother." You say softly before pointing at Tooru who stands in fear and shock behind you. "He even insulted my face, called me a duck! He literally called me quack quack!" You look pretty offended when you're just putting on a show.
"You called her a duck!?" Hajime aims the volleyball at the other boy who pulls you in front of him to make you shield him. You feel his forehead pressed against the back of your head while his hands tightly grip your shoulders to make you stand in front of him.
"She does look like a duck, you said it yourself the other day! So why am I the one getting blamed now..." Tooru raises his head once to yell back but then immediately yelps and hides his face again when he notices the ball.
"I called her a cute duck, you are insulting her! The heck do you mean quack quack?!" Hajime yells as he walks up to you and the second Tooru notices it, he wraps his arms around you to pull you back with him. His forehead is still pressed against the back of your head.
"I wasn't insulting her! Ducks are cute. She is just... well, less cuter." He rests his chin on your shoulder and you just groan from his words, tired from his childish behavior. His arms are lazily yet tightly wrapped around your waist as he raises one hand to your cheeks to squeeze them to make you look more like a duck, an uglier one.
"Tooru, let go of me." You say with a calm voice but obviously a tired and angry one. But your voice just sounds stupider than anything with how he's still squeezing your cheeks even from behind.
"You heard her! Let go of my sister you shittykawa!" He says as he throws the volleyball at him thoughtlessly, not even thinking where he just threw it. The ball finds your face in a speed you can't even think of. For a minute you just stay there, both in shock and in pain. "Shit.. See what you made me do!?" Hajime yells before stepping towards you guys but Tooru keeps you close to him as he turns your face to face him.
"Are you hurt? No, right?" He asks, softer than any of his tones. His hand on your waist turns you just slightly towards him as he checks on her.
"Yeah, I'm hurt you dumbass." You say angrily, well knowing you got the hit due to his dramatic dumb ass, like always. He bits the corner of his lips before leaning in to press a kiss to your cheek and pulling back with a smirk.
"Hope that'll heal you, quack quack." He winks and ruffles your hair before running right outside the door to hide from the oldest Iwaizumi. You can hear Hajime yelling Tooru to get his ass back here so he can hit him worse than anything while Tooru just screams like his usual. And you just stand there, one cheek red from the volleyball hitting your face, the other one red from the kiss. The fuck?

Shoto Todoroki has always been the warmth to your cold, no matter that his second quirk is made of ice. Because of your very villain-like ability, the draining of energy or souls, your body grows cold very quickly whenever you use it. It slowly causes your temperature to drop too fast, leaving you searching for warmth from other people.
Whenever you spar with someone, whenever you fight against a villain, whenever you simply use your quirk, Shoto is always there for you.
From the very first day at UA, the two of you formed a strong bond, one that led him to give you his trust one hundred percent, something that has always been rare for him. You trust him as well, with everything you have. You trust him with your emotions because you know he would never break them. You trust him with your body because you know he would never touch you without your permission
He is the most trustworthy person you have ever met.
And perhaps that is exactly why you never hesitate to lean into him whenever your body begins to lose its warmth again. The moment your fingers start to feel numb and the cold creeps beneath your skin, Shoto notices before you even say a word. He always does.
Sometimes it is something simple. His hand quietly finding yours during training, his palm warm against your freezing fingers as if it is the most natural thing in the world. Other times it is more obvious, like when he gently pulls you closer after a long fight, the heat from his left side slowly seeping through your clothes and chasing the cold away.
Shoto never complains about it, tho. He never questions it.
If anything, he seems almost calmer when he is helping you warm up again, his expression soft in a way that very few people ever get to see. He is always controlled, making sure he never burns you or leaves you too cold.
"Are you cold...? You're getting cold again," Shoto murmurs quietly and calmly he always carries in his voice. His hand rests over your hand while sitting in front of you on a chair in front of your stretcher in the Recovery Girl's infirmary.
"I'm fine, Shoto..." Your voice comes out rather weak, still under the effect of the fight. You can't even find the energy to shake your head. Your quirk may let you drain other's energies but overusing it can cause you to drain your own energy as well. The sudden warmth loss is the cause of that.
"It doesn't feel like that though, your skin is cold as ice. You can be mistaken as my quirk, if I must say." No matter how accidentally nonchalant he is, his jokes never fails to make you chuckle.
You silently snicker at his accidental joke before coughing and turning to him with a soft smile on your face. You slowly scoot over to give him space so he can lie down next to you. "You want me to lie down with you?" Shoto asks with his brows raised.
You slowly nod as you wait for him to climb up to the stretcher. "Mhm, you should lie next to me." You reply with your voice barely reaching the limit to be considered as a whisper. Zero energy...
You always made fun of Aizawa and his soulless personality, but now you understand him since you overused your quirk during the sparring. Shoto nods before carefully climbing up to the stretcher and lying next to you. You throw the other half of the blanket of his costume wearing figure. "Not that comfy, but it helps with the back ache I guess." You shrug but then you shiver with the sudden cold you feel all over your body, your energy and body temperature decreasing to negatives, most probably.
"Your body is actually too cold for your own good.." His hand finds your shoulder before silently moving closer to give you his warmth through his own body.
You are laying on your side just like him before he gets closer and wraps his arms around you. Gosh, he feels warm, hot even. Your front gets the best type of warmth you can ever ask for but your back is cold due to the lack of his skin. But the way he is rubbing your back up and down with his heated arms and hands.

"Shoto, how is it that you can always give me the warmth that I need?" You ask right after wrapping your arms around him, finally finding the energy to actually move your arms after being warmed by his quirk and body.
"Maybe it's because I also want to give you the warmth that you need... with you, this feels natural, like I'm born to do this. Perhaps that's the answer you're looking for," his arms tightens just slightly around you, his warmth increasing subtly.
"Perhaps, yeah..." You nod and let out a chuckle. "I love this, y'know. I love how calm you are and how calm you make me. But I mostly love how warm you can make me feel."
"You mostly love that...?" Shoto asks before slightly pulling away just enough to face you.
You nod with a smile. His face is really close to yours that your noses touch when you nod. How on earth is it possible for someone to have a warm nose like this? "You don't?" You tilt your head slightly on your pillow.
He shakes his head against the shared pillow, slightly messing his hair. "No..."
"What do you love the most then?" You have a genuine curiosity roaming in your tone with a soft smile on your face, waiting him to tell his own opinions and feelings.
He looks away for a moment before speaking, his eyes settling somewhere beside you instead of on you. It is the way he gets when he is thinking too carefully about what to say. His fingers shift slightly where they rest against you, the warmth from his left side still steady against your skin.
"I love..."
The words trail off before becoming a full sentence. Then his eyes lift again, the two different colors meeting yours as his expression softens slightly.

Denki Kaminari has one of the most useful quirks you have ever seen in UA. And due to that, he gets used very often by his classmates and other students from other classes. Sometimes, they can overuse his quirk and fry his brain, causing him to get into his 'yay mode.'
Charging thirty phones, using almost all his volts during sparring, helping Iida with the machine's electrical system has become his daily life, and it has been ruining his head. The constant headaches almost never seem to leave him alone, destroying every plan he has for the day. Everyone keeps telling him it's alright and that he'll get over them but the headaches only seem to grow worse.
And you are the only one who calms every crisis within his aches.
Denki holds his head as it aches worse than ever while slowly walking towards your dorm room, he stumbles over his feet but manages to continue walking. Gosh, it must be so hard for him. You stand in front of your own dorm room, trying to find your keys just before seeing him. "Denki..." You murmur in shock and fear before rushing towards him. He isn't even his usual 'yay mode,' he is just desperate for some help.
The blond immediately relaxes in your arms but his arms can't even hold you properly. "It hurts..." His voice barely above a whisper, it just sounds so painful that it hurts you to hear it.
"It's gonna be alright... Let me just get you inside." You unlock the door to your dorm and shut it after you gently drag him inside. Your back turned towards your bed, you walk backwards while still holding him. You gently place Denki on your bed and wrap him in his favorite blanket of yours that has small yellow electricity prints on the fabric. The soft blanket covers him well enough for him to sigh but still ache in pain. "You'll be alright, you're going to be fine." You try to reassure him as you sit next to his lying figure.
Denki's hand clutches on his hair over his temple while his other hand looks for you, for your warmth. "It hurts, so much... my head hurts," his voice is weak, really weak that it causes you to wince. You urgently lie next to him and let his hand find your skin.
You move your hand to softly caress his cheek after pulling the blanket higher on his body. No one but you can witness this. His classmates and other friends usually get to see his funny 'yay mode' while you always see his worst state. "Here, let me massage your temples." You bring your thumbs to both of his temples and softly massage them to decrease the headache.
Denki groans in pain, tear-filled eyes shut from pain as he scoots closer to you. "It's like someone is constantly punching my head with a metal stick... It hurts so bad." A tear drop falls from his eye and when you wipe his tear, you get struck by electricity. You wince from the pain but try to focus on him more. "Did I shock you again?" He asks in a tone that yells he is guilty and didn't do that on purpose. You know he'd never do something like that on purpose so you just sigh.
"It didn't hurt, don't worry about it." You whisper and plant a soft kiss to his forehead before continuing to caress his cheek and rub his temples in circular motions. "Just try to relax, try not to focus on the pain. Focus on me, hm? Focus on me Denki."
"I'm trying to, I swear but it hurts so bad..." Denki cries out very softly, his voice breaks towards the end, making him sound more childish and weaker than he already is. He slowly opens his eyes to look at you and once he does he can't look away, like he is actually only focused on you. He doesn't groan anymore, at least not that much. He just stares like he is in awe. Like he suddenly healed.
"Just like that, focus on me." You say as you wipe both his sweat and tears but at least without being struck by electricity his body carries all the time, waiting to be used.
He overused himself again, too much in fact. His body has never shivered this much after overusing himself, this is a first for both of you. Denki pants while just watching your movements. "You won't leave me, right...?" He murmurs, he looks at you through quite long his lashes.
"Why on earth would I leave you? I'm never leaving you, ever." You reassure him, trying to make sure he knows you'll always be there for him.
Your relationship/friendship with Kaminari is different than any kind of friendship. You guys are both physically and emotionally close, making your relationship stranger than a normal friendship. He can kiss your face as much as he wants and it can still be normal for you guys. Because your friendship is different. You guys aren't basic friends but you aren't dating either.

You kiss the tip of his nose and his eyes close for a second from the kiss like it's a cure for him. Like you are the cure to his curse. "Do you feel better?" You ask after a few minutes and instead of answering, he goes in for a cheek kiss, then a nose kiss, then a jaw, then again a cheek before going in for a forehead kiss. You just lie there, a bit confused.
"How is it possible that you can cure my everything?" Denki asks while panting, his body is as close as he can get to you, almost on top of you. It looks like his headache has passed, at least decreased into a much bearable pain.
"I dunno, perhaps I am an angel..?" You chuckle at your own joke but he seems to take it seriously. He doesn't actually think that, does he...?
"Perhaps you are, perhaps that's why my heart keeps choosing you. Perhaps that's why you feel so divine. You are an angel!" He says in a serious tone but ends the sentence with a realization.
"Unfortunately Denki, no matter how much I'd want that to be real, I'm not an angel." You shake your head with a sigh and a slight smile before he hugs you tightly, his strangely soft cheek resting against yours.

Eijiro Kirishima, pro hero number 12, has always been like this. He has always been trying to get better even though he is already better. However during the process, he gets hurt. He always ends up getting hurt. Both physically and emotionally.
As Eijiro's girlfriend, you can do nothing other than just beg him to stop hurting himself but he never listens. His soft lies are nothing to trust, you learned that in the hardest ways.
And now you stand in front of him in your room, confronting him about an extremely difficult and dangerous operation he promised not to attend, but ended up joining to get a better ranking. Tears are spilling from your pained eyes, the paper of proof is crumpled in your grip. "You think you can just play with your life when you have people waiting for you!?"
Eijiro's hands try to reach for you, his own eyes are filled with unshed tears. He knows he messed up. "I'm sorry, babe, please just listen to me—" But you interrupt him with more pained and upsetting words.
No matter his statue and age, Kirishima has never been the type to hold his tears away from you. Although he used to. Back in high school, he would never ever show his tears to you because he used to think it was so unmanly of him but now he understands. He can cry, especially near you. "Your injuries just healed and you signed another death operation, you even tried to hide the contract from me!"
"I just want to be enough for you..!" Eijiro's voice makes you freeze, his hands tugging on his pajamas you got him. It has small blond Pomeranian prints on the red, soft fabric.
"Enough for me..? Eijiro you are already enough for me, where did you get that idea from?" Your voice softens after seeing his tears falling before you, his hands tugging on his t-shirt like a sad child.
"I'm not! And I want to be enough for you, better for you. I want to be someone you can be proud and show off. But I can't even get to the top ten." He wipes his tears along with his nose. "I want you to be able to go around and proudly say you are dating the number one hero Eijiro Kirishima. Not the weak, number twelve Eijiro Kirishima."
You can't even believe what you are hearing. You are proud of him, more than anything. You can always go around and mention you are dating him. You are never ashamed of him so why is he acting like you are embarrassed of him...? "How can you even say that when I am more than proud of you?"
You wipe your tears before continuing. "Eijiro... we started dating when we were still students at U.A. There were no rankings back then. No numbers, no fame." You shake your head while biting on your bottom lip to not let out a sob. It hurts you how much he has been hurting himself just to prove himself to you. "I didn’t fall in love with you because I thought you’d become the number one hero someday. I fell in love with you because you were just Kirishima."
"I just wanted Eijiro Kirishima, not number one. And I don't want this for you, this death penalty just because you want to be better for me." You raise your other hand to the paper contract and rip it into two pieces.
He wipes his tears with both hands as he just lets himself cry after your words. "I just—I just want to be enough for you..." He broke down. Right now, he is as vulnerable and weak as he can get.
"You are enough for me..." You slowly take him into your arms, he immediately buries his face into the crook of your neck, hands wrapping around your waist tight enough to leave you slightly breathless. He needed this for a long time... "I am always proud of you."
"I want to be better... I want to win more, I want to be the number one—for you..." Eijiro's voice is soft and muffled against your skin, the teared paper falls from your hand as you continue hugging him.
He pulls back just slightly to face you, his lips plant a gentle kiss to yours. "Don't be number one for me, because for me you are everything. You can be the worst hero in the world and you will always be my number one in this world." You whisper against his lips.
"I am...?" He asked tenderly.
"You are, Eijiro... and you will never be lower than what you are right now, if anything, you'll be more day by day." Your hand caresses his strangely plump and squeezable cheek that's wet from tears.
"You are so kind to me... it's like you are my angel," he murmurs as he leans into your gentle touch.
"There is no reason to not be kind to you," You shake your head while talking. Your words mean everything to him, he knows it is to reassure him that he is worthy of kindness and love. His eyes shine with something other than tears, but love.
Eijiro Kirishima is truly, madly, deeply in love with you.
"I love you, so much... Did you know that?" He asked, voice barely over a whisper.
You snicker quietly at his actually dumb question. Of course you know he loves you. You have known that since first year of UA, even when you guys weren't dating he used to make it extremely obvious.
"Like I can stay oblivious to that." You roll your eyes before planting a small peck to the tip of his nose. "I love you too, baby." You repeat his words but in a different tone.

Ever since you can remember, Katsuki Bakugou has been with you. Playing in the sand? Katsuki is there too. Going to school? Katsuki is going as well. Reading in your room? Katsuki somehow ends up there too, reading. There is nothing that will stop him from seeing you, talking to you, following you.
Katsuki is the grumpy type, one with an enormous ego, pride, and an aggressive temper. Although he has every attribute that could make even the most patient person on earth scream at him, he doesn't seem to use any of those on you. He loves teasing you and fighting you, but he knows which line not to cross, at least that's what you have been seeing in his actions.
You know he's a stubborn person, but you would never have taken him for someone who would casually flirt with a girl and never stop demanding she date him. Katsuki is really an unexpected one, isn't he...
Ever since the first day of UA, he has been constantly trying to (but failing to) flirt with you, asking you out as well in a grumpy yet soft manner.
Unlike always, you are stuck with his constant angry blabbering and grunting about why he's the best for you and why you should be talking and flirting with him instead of that "ugly, egoistic, crazy" Monoma. You sigh while rubbing your temples, sitting on the couch in your dorm room. You called him because you weren't feeling well and now he's becoming the reason you're not feeling well.
"I don't even get why you would let yourself be stupidly washed away by that self-in-love psycho copy bastard! There are obviously way better people than that jerk!" He paces in front of the couch angrily, not even noticing your headache or your efforts to calm him down.
"Katsuki, just calm down for a minute, will you...?" You softly ask to not rile him up more but he is just too obsessed and focused on changing your mind on Monoma, your current flirt. You started flirting and texting with Monoma after the sports festival and he doesn't seem to be a bad guy, besides his obsession over himself and how he looks down on people.
"Do not try to shut me up! I know I'm right! I'm always right whenever it's about that bastard and you never even care to listen to me while I'm the only rational one!" Katsuki angrily points at himself to show he's the "only rational" one. What a joke...
"Katsuki—" you sigh and stand up to shut him up but in a softer tone however he ends up interrupting you again.
"I'm here! He's not so why are you even still doting over him when I, the almighty Explosion Murder God Dynamight, am standing right in front of you!? Tell me for once!"
And this time, you can't hold back. You do what you never do and snap at him.
"Because we're friends!" Katsuki freezes. His eyes widen in pure shock at your words.
"Friends...?" Even you have never heard him sound this soft and weak rather than the rough voice he was letting out just moments ago.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell." Your voice immediately falters when you notice your mistake. Katsuki told you he likes you during the first months of UA and you never stopped him, continued giving him hope just like that. And now, you are hurting him.
"You don't get to apologize after that, dammit." Katsuki spits like he is angry but it shows on his face. He is upset more than he can be angry at you.
You walk over to him and place your hand on his stiff shoulder. When he doesn't look at your face, your hand finds his jaw to softly turn his face towards you. His strangely soft eyes meet yours. "You knew I liked you." Katsuki changes the topic once he sees your eyes and your soft expression that can melt him right away. "Yet you never stopped me. Every time I told you to be with me, you just rolled your damn eyes and continued acting like nothing was wrong when everything was so fucking wrong."
"You are important to me. I didn't want to ruin it by saying the wrong things." Your fingers caress his jaw before pulling back softly, leaving him without your touch.
"Like what you just said didn't ruin anything..." He says gruffly as he watches your hand move away from his jaw. And then, suddenly, his hand flies towards yours and catches your wrist. "I don't want your stupid friendship, not anymore. So either give me my damn relationship or fuck off." Katsuki's voice may come out as rough but his hand is soft against your wrist, almost shivering.
"Your hand is trembling and getting sweaty." You point out because actually, you don't know how to answer those words.
"AM NOT!" He snaps again but doesn't pull away his hand yet he tries his best to still it. You sigh and shake your head at his stupid effort, his pupils dilated to their full extent just by watching you and he probably doesn't even notice it. Poor blondie.
After seeing him swallow in surrender, you step forward and take him into your arms. "Give me time..." Your whisper makes him slightly shiver before relaxing against your body. But from how he relaxes into your touch, it's obvious that he eventually calmed down.
"I gave you enough time, you end up telling me we're just friends. We both know we aren't just friends..." Katsuki's voice lowers into a much softer and gentler tone, one no one would hear if they weren't you. Because you are you, you are special and his significant other he can't and will never let go of, no matter what.
There's a moment of silence, just hugging before you break it with your words again. "You really like me?"
"You know I do... you can't keep acting dumb on purpose to avoid me. I'm not dumb." He closes his eyes while resting his head in the crook of your neck while his arms are around your lower waist.
"I want to hear it from your mouth. Not something like 'you know I have feelings for you' or something like what you just said." You shrug your shoulders while still holding him, giving him a safe zone.
Katsuki lets out a groan. "Fine," he sighs, "I like you." He pulls away to just slightly see your reaction. The pout on his face is so unlike him that you want to chuckle but can't. "So don't tell me we are friends." He leans in to plant a soft kiss on your lips that automatically ends the conversation. Your eyes widen when you finally come to your senses about the kiss. Even he is surprised with what he just did like he wasn't waiting for himself to do such things to you in this moment. And his lips find that smirk again.
"I will keep doing that in the future so you better prepare yourself for my attacks, you hag."
