Game controllers 👏shouldn't cost👏as much👏as👏a👏game👏

So I've been having this debate lately about the price, of video game controllers and how everyone is talking about the price of dlc, the types of dlc, microtransactions, and loot boxes but no one is talking about the price of standard controllers.

WHY does a controller need to cost the same or more then a new game. Microsoft is constant pushing their "controller lab" and you can customize your controller but they start at $79.99. FOR JUST A START. their special edition ones? $74+ for just a special coat of paint on nothing more then a basic controller that normally costs $50-60.

I have some screencaps of my argument from the Microsoft comments and I'm sure not everyone will agree I think it needs to be brought into the light as something game companies can get away with, without any notice

I don't think this will get ANY traction but I needed to post this SOMEWHERE

Edit: just to clarify this isn't a argument against only Microsoft or only Sony this is about the gaming industry as a whole, so there is no one sided argument

Although I’ve only been on the channel since 2015, I have gone back multiple times over these last two years and watched older videos, ones back in 2013 and I’ve seen your growth.
