MINI GALLERY BOX goal is to create a box to showcase an independent artist every two months. It will contain original content designed by the artist and it will come with a mini zine to learn more about them (why not put a face on their name ?!), the way they work, and what inspire them on a daily basis.
Mini Gallery Box and I teamed up to create a box filled with goodies designed by me ! The first box theme is Cosmos and the Kickstarter campaign is 95% funded ! Only 8 days left to back this beautiful project !
Whatâs inside the box ? - 6 postcards + 6 kraft envelopes - A coloring book + a coloring pencils set (10 drawings) - An A5 sketchbook (32 pages) - An exclusive enamel pin (visual coming soon)An A6 sticker sheet - A zine about the featured artist  Commissions are available as rewards, grab them while you can, these are the only commissions Iâll take this year !
CLICK HERE TO SUPPORT MINI GALLERY BOX ON KICKSTARTER and help this creative project make more boxes with independent artists in the future !
Thank you for your support ! It means a lot <3

When people argue that Antigone is insane because she defies Creon and buries her brother even though she knows she will probably die for it, I always wonder how they are defining insanity. As loss of rationality and reason? Then she is no more insane than Creon. Because she continues on her course even though the result will be her death? Then she is no different from the majority of greek heroes.
Achilles kills Hector even though he knows it will ensure his death. Hector stays outside the walls of Troy to fight Achilles even though he knows there is pretty much no chance he will survive. Orestes kills his mother even though he knows it will mean pursuit by the Furies. Oedipus persists in his quest for the truth even though he realises it will have dire consequences for himself. Antigone buries her brother even though she knows she will pay with her life. Why is the idea of insanity only ever applied to Antigone? Is it because she is the only one who clearly breaks a law? (a law set down by the state at least). People have been breaking laws and standing up to tyrants and defending their principles in the face of death for all of human history.
I suspect the idea that Antigone is insane probably comes down to the sexist attitudes prevalent in todayâs society. Antigoneâs stubbornness, determination, defiance, thirst for glory and short temper are characteristic of greek heroes (especially Homerâs Achilles and other Sophoclean protagonists), none of whom are usually considered insane. Antigoneâs behaviour doesnât make her insane. It makes her a tragic hero.
