Has anyone ever made a Monopoly board that is adjusted for inflation?
Ok so. Park Place costs $350
If we adjust for inflation between when the game came out in 1903 to 2023 aaaand
$11,948.61
We could safely round that to $11,950.
Now do this for all of the other squares and rent prices, then play the game with your parents. Except, don't adjust the amounts of money you get from anything. If a chance gets you $100 then that's all you get.
When they complain that the game is impossible to play, let them know that's why you still live at home.
