This is true but I'm gonna be controversial for a second and say that I feel bad for jocks who get hit with The Injury™️too. The Injury™️ fucking sucks, man. Having something that everyone praised you for when you were young suddenly betray you and having to grapple with both a sudden loss of ability (whether it's something that can be recovered from or not) and figure out what your future looks like now that the one you had imagined for yourself (whether it was actually realistic or not) feels like it's been snatched away is brutal.

I do really love it when women write graphic and fucked up things. I feel like so often people react to fucked up fiction with “of course a disgusting man would write this 🙄” and it often carries an unspoken (honestly sometimes spoken) message of “a woman’s PURE and DELICATE and FEMININE mind could NEVER think of something this VILE”. Digital de-aging is bad not just because it always looks creepy as fuck no matter how much money they pour into it, but because it deprives me of getting to see the fucking black magic of a) the casting director somehow finding someone who looks unnervingly like the original actor despite not being related at all and b) the actors completely convincing me that they are, in fact, the same person at different times in their life.

I think 3d prints are slop and shouldnt be at craft fairs unless they are like functional prints that you designed yourself not the mass produced snails.

Dont get me wrong I love those stim toys that are slugs and dragons ect but seeing 100s and 100s of them being sold just makes me think of the waste.

I think 3d printers are useful and cool but I dont enjoy the hyperconsumerism tied to them. Like its okay to print your own cute slug toy its another to print 100s and its not even your design which means there are other 100s identical ones out there that may or may not just be different colors.
