The Eyes of the Stone Thief adventure is the big adventure for 13th Age. As far as I've been able to tell, no other premade adventure is as large, with this one spanning levels 4-8, with dozens of encounters you're meant to mix and match into the story based on the decisions of the players and what's most dynamic and dramatic for the moment. One of the elements of the adventure is providing an Adversary for the party, a rival party that hunts them throughout, trying to counter their plans and steal important items, and the most interesting of these adversaries is Master Throatslitter. Title, honorific, and name, Master Throatslitter is a very old orc, and one of the most prolific and knowledgeable killers in the world. In Pathfinder, he would be the agent of a greater lord, most likely another orc as Master Throatslitter kills in order to ensure a greater position for orcs in the world. He's not a leader himself, but follows one who he believes has a good vision, and will eliminate any obstacles or challenges placed in the way of his people. He is an exceptionally dirty fighter, willing to use any means necessary to gain an advantage. Poison, low blows, hostages, ambushes, allies (who he will sacrifice gladly to advance his goal), hit and run, shock and awe, no tactic is too low or unknown to him, and he should be taking precautions to ensure his survival until his mission is complete.
