my biggest take hot take right now is that 100 men COULD take a gorilla. The AP system is weird

so ap testing is approaching and my biggest hate about ap testing is that it’s just checking off boxes. Like for English, it’s not can you write a good essay that makes sense and is actually nuanced, it’s just a list of have this many pieces of evidence and have some kind of line of reasoning. Like all you’re learning to do is how to beat the system. And then at some point you don’t even teach how to get the maximum bc they’re just so hard to get. You just give the bare basics to take the test and no solid writing skills
