was talking to a coworker and realised i could not for the life of me remember his name but i was too embarrassed to ask because we've spoken multiple times so mid-conversation i started concocting a plan to nudge the conversation towards the ID photos on our building passes so that i could be like oh my ID photo is awful haha the camera they use to take these has a real talent for making me look as unphotogenic as possible and then he would say oh yes me too haha everyone says that (because they do) and then i would be able to say well let me see yours it can't be as bad as mine! and he would show me his ID because we are coworkers and why wouldn't he and this would allow me to see his building pass which of course would have his name on it and then i would be able to say well yours is perfectly nice it must be me that's the problem! and then we would have a polite chuckle about it and i would have his name without needing to ask for it and he would be none the wiser and all would be well but then before i could execute this fine plan a little voice in my head went "so this is some light yagami bull shit you are about to pull" which was such a violent reality check it shocked me completely out of my embarrassment and i went "hey im so sorry your name has slipped my mind could you remind me" and he did and it was fine.

KSE fandom, we have to truly lock in here. Apollo is a great character but I feel Kim Soleum meets the requirements more.

The glaring difference between these two stories is that GSGW is inherently a horror story. What KSE deals with on a daily basis is enough to irreparably damage anyone, and he is not the kind of person to walk away fine from horrors beyond human comprehension. And despite that, he continues pushing himself into more dangerous situations just to save more people "because it's less scary with more people". He's such a kindhearted person that several ghost story entities watch over him and protect him for little return.

Not to mention, a private corporation and a government body keep fighting over who gets to keep him. The most suspicious people and the nicest people all come together, because they adore this man so much. He has been kidnapped multiple times because people want him for themselves, that counts as adoption? And again, he's offically adopted by one ghost story dragon.

(SLIGHT SLIGHT SPOILERS FOR PART 3) I am also under the belief that we're going to be having a more pathetic sopping wet cat Soleum this time. I know his gap moe is the cutest but I think we are finally getting an authentic Soleum. The normal person, who can't handle scary things, skips a date with his crush to avoid seeing a horror movie, who faints at the sight of a ghost, who's a massive nerd for his favorite ghost story wiki despite his fear of it and secretly reads it at work (with the pictures turned off), who watches kids cartoons before bed, who keeps plush keychains even in the real world and talks to them to calm his nerves, the one who was forcibly taken from his home world and dropped into one where death could greet him on a random tuesday, the one who's terrified and just trying to survive, who thought about dying because it was too scary but still wanted to live, the one who just wants to go home, yet still worries about the people he's left behind and can't bring himself to check. The one who is thrown alone into a cruel world over and over, as if he is meant to be their savior, and yet he's just a normal person, terrified out of his mind.
