I tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. My sense of taste and smell are on their way out and I’ve been sobbing hysterically over it. You see, I received a late in life ASD + ADHD diagnosis. I have texture issues when it comes to food. Foods only redeeming quality that makes me want to eat is taste… so now I have a meltdown any time I have to eat because the food is SO *texture*. I’m slowly developing an eating disorder (fucking again, I worked so hard to break it the first time) because I’d rather not eat than meltdown over food at least twice a day. The kicker here is that to take my ADHD medicine I HAVE to eat first. So I’m skipping meds because I can’t force myself to eat.

Some will point out that the new Ms. Frizzle is canonically the old one’s younger sister, and that the old one still shows up in the new show:

they are missing the point. They are missing the point because the original is still modified, and is a minor character in the series whose role has been given over to someone who looks more like if Ariel from the Little Mermaid wanted to speak to the manager. And they are missing the point because all the characters have been given this treatment, and it gets a lot worse.
