Hiiii I lowkey just wanted to see if yall had any like advice in figuring a system out like how it went for you guys ig and just idk reassurance that I'm not crazy? I've been exploring my plurality recently a little ig but I feel like ive been freaking out abt it a lil and blocking out stuff altho I have manged to have convos/interactions w/ them... Idk if yall r open to these kinds of asks or not and if ud rather not that's all good <3 but yall just seemed chill hopes u all haz a wonderful day/night

First off ,, we absolutely do not mind questions like this and you& were very respectful so we appreciate that. No worries!
Second ,, you're& absolutely not crazy I can assure you& that. Honestly I think it is natural to feel like you& are crazy at first ,, but you& are not and I hope you& don't let those thoughts bring you& down /lh
Figuring out being a system ,, or figuring out being plural in general ,, is pretty rough and frustrating at first. And as time goes on you& might even think you're& faking it ,, but there is good news there! There is actually no way to fake plurality, some people fake having a disorder related to being a system but no one can fake the experience of being plural ^^
If you& ever feel like you& are faking ,, remind yourself& that plurality as a whole is a very wide and large spectrum ,, and your& experiences are not all going to be the same as everyone else's (which is perfectly fine).
As for advice ,, just take it slow and don't set expectations for yourselves. Trying to rush something or wanting to make it "more real" can just make you& more frustrated ,, and don't give up yet either. It takes quite a lot of time to figure things out and keep them going steady ,, so it is okay if it takes longer than you& thought it would to see progress.
The positive side is that you& have already had interactions and communication ,, no matter what it was like it was still real and that is what matters!
We also completely understand the fear and freaking out ,, and it does not make you& bad if you& block it out because of conflicting feelings towards it. Honestly ,, some headmates (or whichever term you& prefer) are stubborn and will try to make their presence more known if you& push them away ,, we have had experiences like that /lh
Definitely ,, overall ,, keep exploring your& plurality! I would say "sky's the limit" but who says there are limitations? I do hope you have fun figuring it out more ,, and that it is not too draining or stressful ^^
As for our personal experience ,, it mostly helped to have friends who are also plural. That helped us realize we experience some of those things ,, and then we did a deeper dive into plurality and studied it for a while. Overtime it was discovered who we thought were personas or just us being crazy were actually our headmates
There was really no "one way" we figured it out ,, and I don't want to mislead you& by making you& believe there is one way if there's not.
But research and communication helped heavily ,, for example more talking throughout the day (in our head and out loud) such as narrating something or talking while doing a chore. Just the small things ,, if that makes any sense
One of our first headmates ,, Sparkle ,, was discovered when we started having opinions that didn't match ours and thoughts we didn't think. But also because we had been using Tumblr long before our syscovery (system discovery) and randomly we started finding posts we didn't remember making. So that is another example I suppose
If it's any reassurance ,, to this day we are still figuring ourselves out ,, it's okay if it takes a while and it is also okay if you& never fully figure it out! The best piece of advice I can give is to accept yourselves as you& are ,, even if you& don't know who or what that is yet ,, because no matter how chaotic everything might feel you're still valid in every way and you do not need anyone but yourselves to tell you& that!
