Let me explain, being alternative isn't an esthetic or a dressing style it's politics opinion, music, believes etc. etc.

Barty's canonically fascist, okay? He. Is. Fascist. Fascism is ??? Far right, Bravo you listened your history class!

He was raised in a rich, politic family. He chooses te tromitize kids !

Yeah, I know, we doesn't care about Canon but that like the all part of the characters and if you see Barty with an alternative looks.. then he just cosplaying 'cause he's values just didn't match at all with alt ones.

I might be an asshole for it, but I kind if like this. I like the thought of Barty simply pretending to be alternative, to be cooler than he is. He can see how some people hide grimaces when he talks about what he believes. And being raised a blood purist, that is very, very bad.

So, as much as it displeases his father (even if he never really cared for his father anyway), he starts dressing alternative. He starts ACTING alternative. And people like that. They like him when he believes in "the wrong thing". And so people start talking to him.

And when they start hanging out with this boy who you'd never know is a blood purist, you think that you two are alike. And he does what a manipulator can do best, he starts to drag you in. It's slow, it's careful, it's tedious, but once someone you call a friend is talking ever so subtly about something so bad...you can hardly stop yourself from believing in it too.

A lot of people became blood purists around Barty. He was very smooth-talking.

Hm, I really like your headcanon, actually I never really thought about it.

I always think of Barty as an extremist and despicable person, even more than her father. I mean yes Bartemius Crouch Senior is someone who has a disconcerting past facility to hand out bribes and I think he's pretty corrupt, but he still has a certain sense of ethics in some way unlike Barty.

If it were necessary to analyze both of them according to the character grid, the father would be lawful neutral and the son chaotic evil.

I've been a part of this fandom for 4 years now! Only on tumblr for a year or less so I don't know many people...

My favorite ship is (basic) wolfstar (duh!!) But I also love any ships with lily in it, I love her so much and I haven't settled on a fav pair for her so I just read whatever! And I've only recently liked jegulus but I didn't read anything about them yet...

My favorite ship... the wolfstar too, actually I don't really know if it's my favorite or just the logical thing that comes to me because I joined not so long ago. But i really like Rosekiller, Jagulus, Nobleflower and Dorlene I love their dynamics and it's cool to sometimes change the sweetness of what we're used to with the wolfstar.
