My name is Heather, and this is for my beautiful grandmother, Janice. She suffered from a stroke over ten years ago which left her partially paralyzed on the dominant side of her body. She lost both of her children, one of which passed away due to medical complications shortly after I was born. She adopted me and has been loving me my entire life. Her husband, my dear grandfather, is no longer with us. She has always cared for me deeply, and I am so grateful to have her as both my grandma and my mom. Now it is the two of us, and I live with her in order to help her. Unfortunately, we are on a lot that does not belong to us and have been told by the owner that we must find a new place to live. With your help, she can find a home to live in. She needs a house that is wheelchair accessible, so we must find a home that already is or one that can have this necessary access added.
