Made a few storages for supplies, all with empty states!

Let's not forget to have our traditional fire, of course 😊
Look at that stuffed catalogue!! 👆👆👆
There's one that doubles as a medicine cabinet, by LordCrumps
@lordcrumps look! I put on my big girl pants and managed to add more bottles and make subsets for the empty state 😎

List of Sims 2 Custom Content (CC) Sites
Something for any sims 2 newbies who might stumble upon my tumblr. This is not an exhaustive list, just some web sites and blogs I know of and like.
Just a little warning first, english is my second language and while I read it fluently, I have some trouble with phrasing stuff. So the following might be a bit wonky.
Multiple Creators
Mod the Sims: one of the biggest sims 2 sites, also has content for the other sims games
Garden of Shadows: it's forum but you don't need to register to see or download stuff, also has content for sims 3 and sims 4
simblr.cc: quite new, also has content for the other sims games plus inZOI
Plumb Bob Keep: CC for historic themed games, the Download section is visible without registration
Sims2Artist: another forum
Simspearls: forum, registration needed before you can access it.
Creators with their own sites
Nixed Sims: Has historic and modern themed content
LordCrumps: Sims 4 to Sims 2 conversions
Around the Sims 2: inactive, but has lots of nice stuff. Creator is still actively making CC for Sims 3 and Sims 4.
Pick'n'Mix Mods: they made some really practical utility programs for the game
The Medieval Smithy: mostly medieval CC but you can find some CC for other eras too.
Some of my favorite Simblrs (in no particular order)
@deedee-sims
@creesims
@letomills
@platinumaspiration
@fracturedmoonlight
@lucilla-sims
@kaluxsims
Skell Downloads, The Maxis Match Repository Project and Old timey Skellington: Creator is inactive.
Creators on Dreamwidth
Almighty Hat: Some of the best medieval CC. Creator is inactive as of 13.04.2025.
Magical Girl Sandbox
Mrs Mquve
Angela Pleasant
Other important places
The Sims Graveyard: Stuff from disappeared Sites. Warning: Always quite slow
@sims2packrat: another important place to find lost CC.
@sims2tutorials: Links to many Tutorials
@lazyduchess: They made some very important fixes and mods for any Sims 2 game
Sims 2 Default Database: Don't like a Maxis Outfit, here you can find replacements for them
Object Default Database: Same but for Objects
Pinterest: Some Simmers make collections that link to CC sites and creators there.
I don't even play the game, but I'm still discovering stuff
Did anyone else know of this trick I accidentally discovered with Sims2Pack Clean Installer? How many of us have opened each individual file and downloaded, which takes forever?
Basically, if you make a shortcut of Sims2Pack Clean Installer.exe, and go into properties like so,
if you put the suffix -f after the path in Target, it will load up this window:
So, from here, you locate a folder with all the sims2packs you want to install and tada! All installed at once, hassle free
And if this was common knowledge and I'm just stupid, well, idk lol
Handy for reference!
Saguaro Springs at night - still a work in progress though! Currently building a motel lot, but I placed around some more hood deco and hood street lights and wanted to see how it was looking after dark.
slowly getting somewhere with the uni :D
New Youtube video!
Built a little Vegas inspired wedding chapel for my Sims!
happy pie day friends, @kayleigh-83 has a new build video up and I LOVE it to absolute pieces 😍😍😍
THE SIMS 2 (2004, dev. by Maxis)
Magic Town, based on Voleste’s terrain and lots.
As promised, here are links to the Simlish fonts I’ve used in my CC (and a couple I haven’t used yet, but really love). It is not a comprehensive list but I wanted to put this post together in order to credit and thank the creators of these fonts.

Neighborhood scenes from fall 🍂🍁
Did you know that this world was made be ea and was a free downloadable from Sims 2 website
Crumplebottom Court
I turned the area behind the Goth Sr. house into an actual court, with Old Town's fancier houses lining the streets. I also put in a few alleyways lined with shrubs, and idk why but they felt like something that would exist in Louisiana.
Anyway, I love how the area is turning out! Wondering if I should move Agnes into one of the houses on that street.
First one I redid was Mango Manor, and I used the empty area outback as a seating area for the streetcar along Elm Street with elm trees. I also pushed back the side area so it would be enough for a driveway.
At the center of the court is a small park, with a gazebo, several seats, sculptures, and a koi pond.
At the end of the court is this horizontal veranda house for a small rich family.
was in a building mood so this happened! part 1
