I haven't had a lot of time to work on art lately though I do have a few pieces waiting to be wrapped up before I post them. I practiced a more stylistic approach to faces with one of my solid favs. It's messy but.... enjoy! :D

I made the bookmark for a challenge. I took so many WIP photos but to be honest with you it looked pretty questionable until the hat was applied and the face shaped up a bit more. Also, poking his face with a barbed needle was a bit distressing after a while but I’m glad I did…? Anyway, it’s all sheep and alpaca wool for the curious among you.
The drawing is from the first day of Inktober 2017 for the prompt “Swift”. I’ve definitely improved, but I’m still happy with how it turned out in general. I would like to try recreating this image when I’m not pressed for time.

Oh hey, it's been a little bit-- Here are 3 of my Silmarillion inspired Inktober 2017 pieces to make up for it, though 😘 Eöl forging Anguirel and being a grump, grump. ("Sword") Fëanor asking Galadriel for hair and becoming "Unfriends forever" ("Divide") And a digitally colored version of Ancalagon the Black... uh.... laughing at a joke Eãrendil said on Vingilot ("Gigantic")
Glorfindel lost in memory 5/30 Silmarillion inspired sketches Granted this would happen after Glorfindel returned in around 1000 TA, but I thought it would be good and squishy. Also if Glorfindel can cry about seeing flowers, you can cry about whatever you gotta. Much love~
And if you listen closely you can still hear Fëanor shrieking from deep in the Halls of Mandos.
