I think the only way I could accept Heathcliff getting a middle ID is if we learned about Queequeg's time in the middle and Heathcliff got a middle Queequeg ID similar to Gregor getting both lamp and aaed hohenheim. Like if Heathcliff got a middle ID that canonically leaves the middle and joined ishmael's crew I would not be nearly as upset as if he got like, Ricardo or something.

I have Theories for the New Ricardo Heathcliff ID.
Obviously it will be a 000 ID, But i feel like it will more specifically mirror a lot of Ricardo’s moveset.
Ricardo Hearhcliff would be a Bleed and Charge Unit, with the Unique Charge being like Sinclairs Vendetta Mark and Book of Vengeance.
His S1 would be a Three Coin Envy Skill which resembles Ricardos Skills “Punching” and “Kicking”. This would be one that deals heavy amounts of blunt damage, alongside paralyze and bleed.
His S2 would be a Two Coin Wrath Skill which resembles Ricardos Skill “Watch Your Back!”, applying Bind, Attack Power Down, and of course, More Bleed.
His S3 would be an Envy type skill sort of combination of all his other skills plus “Payback”, being a Four Coin Skill that Prioritizes Bleed, Blunt Damage, And dealing shit tons of Paralyze.
Middle Heathcliffs Defensive skill Would Likely be his Evade, being especially based off of the Evade “Swear Vengeance”, Rather than his prior one. This Evade would inflict Heathcliff with “Test of the big brother” and Bind, alongside attack power up, like Ricardos actual evade by the same name.
His Passive would like also slightly mirror that of Ricardo, gaining more power the more damage dealt to allies. His Out of Battle Passive would likely boost the power of ENVY Skills.
All of his Skills would apply Vendeta Mark, which would help him convert those Vendeta Marks into his Book of Vengeance effect. One He Gets 5 Stacks of “Book of Vengeance [Heathcliff]”, His S3 is swapped out for an enhanced S3.
His Enhanced S3 would be a Wrath type skill reflection of Ricardos Skill “MY HAIR COUPOOOOOOOOOOONS!!!”, Instead being a Five Coin unbreakable Skill. The First Four Coins would mainly be to Apply more Debuffs to the enemies to weaken them, with his Final Coin acting as the Slam that Ricardos skill does, with the debuffs working to help deal more damage.
Middle Heathcliff would likely have bonus conditionals which require having other members of the middle on his team with him. This would involve becoming much stronger with Envy Resonance, alongside Gaining +Coin Power and Making it Easier to aquire more Vendeta mark much quicker than usual, making it more likely that Heathcliff can still use his Enhanced S3 multiple times in a Stage.
Middle Heathcliffs presence would also give many buffs to the other Middle Allies [At time of writing, are Middle Don, Middle Meursault, Middle Sinclair, and Middle Ishmael, and potencially also Middle Outis when she releases].
All of Heathcliffs Skills would likely function as Blunt type Skills which deal with Heavy Attack Weight.
Now Note, this is all a HYPTHETICAL on what Middle Heathcliffs kit may work like. I am just trying to make my best inference as to how this kit may act like, based on my own knowledge and based off of ricardos own kit. This is NOT THE ACTUAL KIT ITSELF, but if its close i will be shocked.

I think instead then the S1 and S2 would be Wrath, and his S3 and S3 Enhanced would be Envy, as especially in mirror Dungeons people will very much prefer to Swap out the S1 and S2 for those Skills. I guess his Defensive would be a Counter Attack rather than an Evade. Honestly just giving him shield doesnt feel like ricardo, but i can see why Evade feels wrong.
I can tell i focused WAY TOO DAMN MUCH on Ricardos Kit for the Sin Affinities of the Skills. I did pull up the other Middle ID’s to see if there were other things besides Bleed, which did give me the idea for making him a unique charge based off of Sinclairs Effects. But i did NOT pay attention to the affinities of the skills.
These are very much 100% VALID COMPLAINTS AND CRITISISMS. Hopefully these critiques make it a better kit.

for resonance focused ids with 2 skills of matching affinity it's usually gonna be their main affinity
the main gimmick of the middle is that with 6 Envy absolute resonance they convert their counter into their skill three and he's probably gonny have the sinclair thing of using his skill 2 with 4 envy A-Res
Also you don't have to give a shield for counters he can just raw dog the damage
so I say instead of an enhanced counter rather then an enhanced skill 3 it's an enhanced counter once at full charge or whatever resource they give him a super duper counter that gets stronger with envy A-Res should do the trick
