Swan Song: A Final Performance, Effort, or Gesture before Death.
A Sapper (Engineer) working near a Trebuchet Crank.
I love transitional Armors - The 1300s are abound with unique kits.
Particularly Sapper kits are always unique, as they're specialized for the task at hand - which is often hard manual labor under threat of stones and arrows.
The Long Hammer would work fine in a pinch, if the besieged force were to sally out.
Looking around Manuscripts and saw this guy with some other sketches in the back of the book (Christ Church MS 92).
I couldn't quite tell why the Crossbow was stylized with bumps. I thought it may be horn, but some forum members pointed out it's likely Yew, as it's known to be a strong, knotty wood; and colored depictions gave them "Belly & Back" coloring as is typical of medieval bows.
Clone Troopers Rule - always ten toes down for whatever. Late May 4th Post for Star Wars Day
Recent Commission I did for a Scottish Man-at-Arms from 1490-1520
Process vid for my take on "Paladin in Hell" from D&D's First Player Handbook (1978).
Ode to "Paladin in Hell" by David Sutherland - first D&D handbook (1978). Time-lapse process vid coming soon :^)
Another year - gnashing and gnawing at life.
"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little."
Raindrops sculpt mountains, and iron sharpens iron
Prompt: Ring
Historical Artifacts from Cetlic/Germanic/Scandinavian cultures.
Ritually Killed Sword, Sword Ring, Finger Ring with Arabic Inscription, Arm Rings, and a Brooch or Clasp.
If anyone is curious about anything shown here I'd be happy to relate their history
Been absent working on super secret projects and developing new skills - I'll be able to reveal those soon. Exciting stuff on the way :^)
Quick Ipad sketch for the prompt "bones" from @horridrealm October prompt list #horridtober
Got @peachplossum (on insta) an IPad Pro and had a chance to mess with it while babysitting our cats in the backyard. #procreate is really nice to use, and the IPad is super responsive and smooth, very cool.
She's is already making a lot of cool stuff with it and hopefully you'll see that eventually as well.
A Terrible Ritual

Chainmaille Balaclava
40k Doom Trooper sketch inspired by lordofskulls figures on Instagram - liked the idea of an astartes using a Mac 10 so much I added another one
"Part with your scabbards and hold this breach to the last Belch of Hell."
Watch the old Dragon Age Origins "Warden's Calling" trailer for chills. We used to create things...
