Elliot would be horrified. His children agree he would experiment on one (Ollie) for the sake of the other (Poppy). Had he really been favoring her that much?

They think he would leave behind a legacy of torture and suffering. They also used his motto of "Making Children Smile" and twisted it into forced smiles in their game, ones his company made them wear for eternity

While the Prototype is the main villain, Elliot is the one who made the story possible with the actions his children envisioned. He is still a villain

The moment he finds out he would try way too hard to be seen as a good person by the children, his children especially. Poppy and Oliver aren't fans

Thinking about pathetic soggy Harley Sawyer...Dragging himself home after delaying a mental breakdown the whole day, because something triggered his painful childhood memories. He's used to bottling up everything. But everyone around him just kinda knows when he does it. Like, he's gritting his teeth, shaking, clutching his fists and forces his mouth shut like he might explode or smth. And they think Harley's angry, but he's just trying his best not to cry. He deadass has a painfull lump in his throat, has an urge to throw up and his thoughts are "Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't let them see you cry." on repeat. He'd probably make some shit up about allergy if someone saw his welled up eyes.

He drags himself home and finally lets it all out. It's so bad he almost faints and his legs feel jelly-like. His neighbours would probably think someone's getting killed there if they heared him crying. Harley rolls all over the floor, screams, punches things, bites his lips till they bleed and everything. Then crawls to the kitchen and pulls a bottle of tequile from the freezer. Takes a swig straight from the bottle and spends his night doing basic math tests on paper, rewarding himself with "well done, good job" stickers to cope(something like age regression? But with alco)and pouring alcohol down his throat to wash away the bad taste of memories. He needs Elliot to come back and hug him, but also needs to punch Elliot in the face violently. Harley needs his inner pitbull to maul his inner child already, because lil fucker is making him miserable.

And the next day at work he has a terrible hangover.

I really don’t give a fuck if someone glorifies or romanticizes bad, very fucked up things in fanfiction. that’s the point of dark fantasies, and the point of dark fantasies is that they are Not Real.

no one in real life gets hurt because someone has dark fantasies somewhere.

the only victims in this case are imaginary people, fictional characters with no lives, souls or feelings.

and it’s fun and therapeutic to indulge in dark fantasies from time to time, as long as they stay fantasies. and I trust that people can separate fiction from reality.

harassing or shaming people for having dark fantasies, for the sake of imaginary children and fictional characters, will still make you a bully who values the lives of imaginary people over real people.
