When you shop for yarn what do you look for? I used to aimlessly buy yarn with no projects in mind, but I’ve started looking for yarn that fits the qualities I like. I love wool and other natural fibers, muted colors, and somewhere between sport and worsted weight. The yarn pictured is so fun to work with. GUYSSSS I got the coolest @fibreshare box!!! Once my partner, Victoria, sent me the tracking number I was religiously checking the website 😂 Well this incredible box showed up like 10 minutes ago and I was too excited to wait till tomorrow to share it!! 🎉 She sent two gorgeous project bags, two balls of yarn (70% wool and 30% nettle fiber which I’ve never seen before!!), a beautiful drop spindle, two carded batts, one gorgeous and colorful braid, a mug, some stitch markers and mini scissors 😍 This was my first time doing fibreshare and I am BLOWN AWAY!!! 2019 has been a year of growth so far. I’ve grown my knitting skills, my pattern writing skills, and I even learned some new techniques along the way like using a knitting machine and drop spindle.
