Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man AU Part 18: Villains Part 2

Ben Reilly has a wide variety of villains I already introduced you to some now it’s time to meet the rest

Quentin Beck AKA Mysterio: Once a respected special effects expert Quentin Beck was quickly phased out with the rise of CGI slop upon the day he was laid off he found a mysterious book it allowed him to cast a variety of spells but he took to the ones that were illusion based he then realised that with this book combined with his special effects experience he could make those who shunned him pay dearly he would make them all fear the menace that is Mysterio

Rodrick Kingsley AKA Hobgoblin: Once a fashion expert shunned away for using cheap and unsafe materials Rodrick Kingsley stumbled upon a stash belonging to the deceased Harry Osborn AKA Green Goblin upon seeing this he decided to turn to crime as he felt like his company was gonna get shut down anyway upon making alterations to the suit and gear he named himself The Hobgoblin, he clashed with Spider Man a number of times before being captured and recruited by Norman Osborn The Second Green Goblin becoming his second in command of his Goblin Gang.

Vincent Stegron aka Stegron: A mad scientist who using a modified version of Curt Connors lizard formula turned himself into a human dinosaur hybrid and decided to use that same formula to rule the world making , upon being defeated by Spider Man for the first time he moved his base to the savage land where he learned he could communicate with and control dinosaurs

Felicia Hardy AKA Black Cat(let me know who the artist is in the comments) An art thief who was the daughter of one of NYC’s greatest thieves Felicia followed in her father’s footsteps and during a heist encountered Spider Man where she quickly became enraptured with the wall crawler and the two of them quickly started an on again off again relationship which ended when Ben Reilly met Janine Godbe/Elizabeth Tyne but the two remained friends it was thanks to Ben that she renounced her life of crime and even had a daughter named Felicity who wanted to be a hero

The Chameleon: no one knows the true name of the man of mystery known as The Chameleon but what we do know is that he hails from a wealthy Russian family, he’s a master of disguise, incredibly intelligent and fears only one thing, his half brother Sergei Kravinoff

Sergei Kravinoff AKA Kraven the Hunter: A man who hails from the wealthy Kravinoff family Kraven never really belonged to the life of the elite his heart was that of a hunter a warrior, he is a man who sees the whole world as his jungle and himself as the apex predator in his own words “Mother Russia by way of Mother Africa” he was never satisfied with animals and soon pushed himself to physical and mental perfection and began hunting incredibly strong individuals searching for a worthy challenge eventually going so far as to hunt mutants and superhumans in his quest for a worthy equal until he heard of a man with the abilities of the worlds strongest spiders he soon set out to New York to hunt this Spider Man and he was very happy with what he found but was also disappointed as the spider had been holding back he became a sort of twisted mentor to Spider Man teaching him while the tried to kill him and pushing him to his limits so he could fight the spider at his full potential

Wilson Fisk AKA The Kingpin: NYC’s biggest crime lord trumping even the big 3 everyone in NYC’s underworld fears him not just due to his physical strength but his political influence he’s a enemy of Spider Man but Daredevil’s nemesis it’s funny how he brought the two biggest problems in his life together but make no mistake if you come after him and fail he’ll kill not just you but your friends and family and use his influence to make it seem like a freak tragedy while those who know learn their place

Adriana Soria AKA Spider Queen: A common enemy of Captain America and Spider Man she’s a failed subject of the super soldier program that created Captain America when she reawakened in the present day she decided that she should rule the world as it’s queen with Spider Man as her king as she had the powers to do so fortunately Captain America was able to stop her and save Spider Man. She possesses super strength a sonic scream, telepathy, telekinesis the ability to turn into a spider monster, a mutagenic bite and the ability to control anything and anyone with insect or arachnid DNA . When her first plan failed she recruited Miles Warren to imbue NYC with spider powers so she could control them the same way she could control Ben and even mutated Captain America into The Spider King fortunately Ben and his clone Kaine were able to stop them and save Cap

Fred Myers AKA Boomerang: A baseball star turned petty criminal he used his fine marksmanship that made him a baseball star to throw weaponised boomerangs

Screwball: The physical embodiment of the worst streamers in the world she decided to get famous by becoming a criminal who live streamed her crimes (Ben: That’s the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard) Ben really hates people like her, she is pretty wily and acrobatic though he’ll give her that.

Dr Jonathan Ohnn AKA The Spot (art by shlerbe art) Once a scientist working on dimensional travel turned into a portal entity during a fight with Spider Man and Hobgoblin after he was turned into The Spot seeing as there wasn’t a way back to normal he turned to a life of crime. He may not seem like it but he’s one of the universe’s most dangerous threats responsible for creating the particle collider that has given our wall crawler much dimensional chicanery and that was designed before he became The Spot, he sent Ben to the world of MHA, Doctor Doom used him as a living portal generator, and finally he’s the reason Spider Man and Supergirl’s worlds are merged together so if it wasn’t obvious he’s more than capable of being an Ultimate’s level threat he’s only held back by his ineptitude and incompetence when it comes to being a criminal

Carnage/Cletus Kasady: Cletus Kasady was a serial killer convicted on eleven murders (that we know of) and was placed in the same psyche ward as Flash Thompson the original Venom because of this fact when the Symbiote inevitably broke Flash out it was pregnant during the jailbreak and due to a lack of social structure didn’t tell Flash that it had just given birth to one of the deadliest supervillains the world had ever seen as the newly born Symbiote bonded with Cletus through his bloodstream and for about a month the two lay in wait before breaking out and killing everyone in the building and on that night Carnage was born. Their rampage forced Spider Man and Venom to team up to stop him but even combined they were no match for Carnage for a number of reasons, one, each new symbiote generation is stronger than the previous one, two, Carnage gestated in a unique and very hospitable environment and three Cletus and the Symbiote are perfectly compatible.

Over the years Cletus and Carnage caused so much needless death and destruction until they were finally defeated by Spider Man and The New Venom, Peter Parker and separated by Reed Richards however due to the fact Carnage and Cletus had been bonded so long and so deeply and the fact that Carnage had bonded with Cletus via his bloodstream meant that Cletus was now dying and Carnage could sense this so he broke out latching itself onto Ben Reilly transforming him into the first Spider Carnage

This was so he could reunite with Cletus however he underestimated Ben as he was able to fight off Carnage’s control long enough for the Fantastic Four and The X Men to hold it for long enough that when it arrived at Cletus’s prison it turned out that Cletus had died it took its rage out on anything and anyone he could see but thanks to Ben who held Carnage back from the inside was able to be separated from him but unfortunately he escaped and came back after devouring several innocent people had now become able to take on a humanoid form without a host.

Now no longer needing a host Carnage hijacked an experimental shuttle to bring an ancient symbiote hive to earth but Spider Man and Venom followed him and during the final fight kicked him into a wormhole and even that didn’t get rid off him for good as he just bonded with a Spider Man who had the crappiest life imaginable and drove him mad (see my spider verse post to learn more) fortunately they were able to beat Carnage after the Spider-Verse event and locked the Symbiote away in a super secure prison in The Negative Zone but if you ask me i think it’s only a matter of time until he gets free again and gets back to doing what he loves.

He’s a common enemy of Spider Man and Venom and Venom’s nemesis.

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man AU Fanfic Part 17: Suits Final Part

Underground Fighter Suit: Used by Ben when he competed in underground fighting rings to vent his rage frustration guilt and grief at his Aunt Mary’s death he competed under the name of The Spider ( he made alot of money from this) upon his first couple weeks as a vigilante he used this suit but scrapped it cause he left fingerprints and his face was partly exposed though it was reborn in the form of the Scarlet Suit (check out my other posts for that) Hell he even used the same hoodie

Fantastic Suit: Created for Ben when he became an auxiliary member of The Fantastic Four alongside She Hulk, Wolverine and Ghost Rider. Upon learning it was made of unstable molecules mixed with a latex like fabric that prevented it from tearing and allowed him to use his claws without ripping the suit apart and that it was fireproof Ben then proceeded to make an updated version of his main suit with the fabricator used to make this one ( mainly he just got sick of his old spandex ripping) he’s still an Auxiliary Fantastic Four member so the suit still gets used

Stealth Suit: Made by Ben Natasha and Steve when they broke into a SHIELD base in their mission to find The Winter Soldier after the Noir Suit V1 was damaged using a fabricator and what else they could find Natasha said that she preferred this suit over his main suit and the Noir V1 as a result of this comment Ben Flipped her off and over a table in a fit of indignant frustration, Steve found this pretty funny

Final Suit V2: Made and used by Ben after learning what his Auxiliary Fantastic Four suit was made of and deciding his main suit could use an update

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man Au Part 16: Spider-Verse

Madame Web sensed a disturbance in the Web of Life and Destiny and upon extreme meditation and using her powers to their fullest to search the web what she found shocked her to the core she realised that she needed help to stop this threat so she summoned her friend Doctor Stephen Strange

With their powers combined they were able to summon many different Spider Men from across the spider verse to take on this menace

Mayday Parker of Earth 468(art by brown table): she took over from her father when he was crippled in a fight with her worlds Doc Ock

Miguel O’Hara Spider Man of Earth Marvel in the year 2099: He’s one of the more logical and smarter spiders here and acts like a voice of reason

Steve Rogers of Earth 148 (cosplay found on reddit): a universe where they used spider blood for the super soldier serum he possesses more leader like qualities

Tony Stark of Earth 2415: after the death of his world’s Peter Parker he used the Iron Spider and a sample of his blood to give himself spider powers to continue Parker’s legacy

Cindy Moon of Earth 200: in her universe she was put on ice after she was bit by the same spider that bit Peter Parker of her world upon Parker discovering her existence he set her free but then he mysteriously disappeared and to repay him she became Silk to find him and protect the city in his absence

Flash Thompson of Earth 1645: During the Afghanistan conflict Captain Flash Thompson was selected for a cross species soldier program which proved successful after he was sent home he was assigned to a special superhuman task force while using his powers to protect New York from crime

Peter Parker of Earth 1376: Originating from a universe where Peter and the Venom Symbiote came to an understanding at the church instead of separating he ended up marrying his worlds Felicia Hardy

Peter Parker of Earth Marvel: The Spider Man who originates from the first earth and the Earth right next door to Ben’s out of all the spider people here this is the only one that Ben has Met before (see part 12)

Upon being summoned the spiders were naturally curious as to why they were here Madame Web And Ben Reilly of Earth 5140 (who we’ll call Reilly) began to explain that the threat is the Peter Parker of Reilly’s universe who went crazy after a series of unfortunate events in his life and the mother of all downward spirals (thanks marvel writers) Reilly becoming The Scarlet Spider and finding out that he may not even be the real Peter Parker and nothing more than a clone pushed him over the edge. When Reilly tried to stop Kingpin from getting an interdimensional portal device his worlds Peter showed up to kill him and during the fight the device activated and the Carnage Symbiote from our Ben’s world showed up and sensing his rage and hatred latched itself onto him transforming him into the horrifying Spider-Carnage

(Art by Jade Lui) He decided to use this power to get back at the world who had wronged him and get rid of his pathetic little clone he’s a multiversal level threat due to him combining Carnage’s power and insanity with the mind of Peter Parker cause upon learning there was a whole multiverse of spider people out there he decided to decimate them all so he would be the only one left the only Peter Parker the only Spider-Man (Spider Carnage: “ Ya know I really Really HATE CLONES HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH”)

Upon learning of why they were summoned and seeing the magnitude of the threat and learning that he was travelling across the spider-verse to find the components needed to to create a device that would wipe out every spider person except him and that their mission was to take him down and separate him from the Symbiote the spider men were given mystic web watches and using Scarlet Spider’s dimensional signature combined with an augmented spider sense were now able to track him down and thus the adventure began but can they beat him and save the spider verse or will Spider Carnage become the only Spider Man in existence.

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man AU Part 15: Gwen Stacy AKA Ghost Spider

Gwen Stacy: Ben Reilly’s oldest friend and surrogate sister she has been there for him since they were little kids and promised to be there for him till the end upon figuring out Ben was Spider-Man using the detective skills she picked up on from her dad she had an argument with him because she was angry that Ben had kept this a secret from her and the two of them never kept secrets from each other this caused Ben to confess all his grief with his double life and he broke down in her arms which caused her to break down too she held Ben in her arms and repeatedly kissed him and told that it was gonna be okay and she promised to be there for him and to keep his secret and help in whatever way she can

Ghost Spider: upon getting shot with a crossbow in a fight with Kraven Ben gave her a blood transfusion to save her life however she also gained Ben’s powers as a result of the transfusion and became his partner Ghost Spider (Gwen just liked the name) The two of them became a force to be reckoned with however due to Gwen getting cocky she ended up getting her dad killed in a battle which led to her quitting for a month but when Ben’s life was threatened she put her costume back on to save him and then said that she’s back and not going anywhere ever again. She and Ben were even recruited to travel the multiverse with other spider people to fight Spider Carnage

Gwenom: During the events of web of shadows Venom activated the symbiote fragments that transferred to her during the blood transfusion she transformed and was forced to fight Ben however thanks to some words of encouragement from Ben and a car alarm she was able to break free and vowed to make this power her own as it’s quite literally part of her however she nearly lost this part of her when Mr Negative transformed Ben into Anti Venom using the symbiote fragments in Ben’s blood but fortunately she saved Ben in a similar way he saved her. She would end up giving up her symbiote side to save the life of Andi Benton who had been stabbed by Carnage after being used as a hostage

Gwen’s car: a gift from her father on her sweet 16 she and her friends were able to restore it to factory condition in fact they did such a good job it even was as fast as it was back in the day she even took her boyfriend Miles Morales on their first date in it. If it wasn’t obvious she loves this car

Powers: Same as Ben’s but slightly weaker so she uses them in unique and inventive ways to compensate, symbiotic genes that she can only activate fully never partially however she ended up giving up her symbiote powers to save someone else’s life

Occupation: Musician and Supermodel

Voice Actor: Hailee Steinfeld

Personality: Bubbly, Gremlin Like, Passionate, Compassionate, Competitive, Loyal, Loving, Empathetic, Determined, Stubborn, Outgoing, Extroverted, Flirty, Strong, She’s a baddie with a heart of gold

Trivia: is a car girl and proud of it, she and her friends started a band called The Mary Janes (Ben picked out the name) and the band is still going strong to this day even booking big time gigs and festivals, wants to be a supermodel because in her words “if ya got it flaunt it”, she and Ben love pro wrestling and mythbusters, favourite music genre is Pop Rock and Rap, she considers Eliphant’s To the End to be her theme song, she helped make Ben’s classic suit (see part 2 if you wanna see what it looks like) she sewed it Ben designed it and in return Ben helped design her suit, she likes playing the role of cute and innocent girl just to screw with people, she’s a bit of a pervert, Met Ben cause her dad and Ben’s aunt worked together and he needed a babysitter, Gwen and Ben had wild animal sex for a year due to their spider pheromones causing them to go crazy around each other fortunately Beast from the X Men was able to fix it, they did have one last ride for the road even after it was fixed only that time was actually more emotional than they intended

Cloth Black Suit: (Cosplay found on reddit) After being separated from the Symbiote Ben had no suit to wear so he made a cloth replica of the Black Suit with friendlier lenses and a different logo. Look he just really liked the suit okay?!

Superior Suit: Used by Ultron when he took over Ben’s life for a year and a half it was made as a deadlier version of Ben’s classic suit it came equipped with very advanced technology including adamantium spider arms, a heads up display, a super computer connected to Ultron’s brain and poison tipped claws

Nano Suit: Made by Tony Stark and Peter Parker for Ben going on a mission to space with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Carnage from awakening an ancient Symbiote hive it was made with nano technology reinforced with Liquid Metal and fully equipped with anti symbiote devices it also came with a cape for gliding

Spectacular Suit: (art by Mauro Celentano ) made by Ben when his stylised suit was damaged beyond repair and Ben after protesting for so long finally switched from black to blue especially since everything and everyone was telling him that he looked better in blue anyway

Iron Spider V2: After the OG Iron Spider was destroyed by Ultron using his body Tony got to work making an upgraded model for Ben to use it came with everything the original had and more including web missiles, vibranium reinforcement, venom enhancers including venom enhanced repulsors, stinger shooters and an intangibility device for when he turns invisible

Last Stand Suit: Used by Ben during his final showdown with Miles Warren AKA The Jackal who had recruited some of his deadliest rogues in one last ditch effort to finally kill him

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man Fanfic Part 13: Crossover Suits

If you’ve read my previous posts and if you haven’t then go do so i really think you’ll like what you see, i posted Ben’s various suits over the years and most recently different crossovers he was in and now it’s time to post those suits he wore in some of those crossovers

Kryptonian Fabric suit: this suit was made to help Ben take down an Electro run Lexcorp with the help of Supergirl after his normal suit was ruined in a fight with Lexbots

Spider Ranger(art by ro3rtojr): This suit was born thanks to the Zordon imbuing the power of the Morphin grid into Spider Man to help him and the Power Rangers fight Doc Ock and Rita Repulsa’s abomination of science and magic. Ben while in this form was incredibly powerful as a result of the fact he was already superhuman and The Morphin Grid cranking all that up to 20 as well as give him some cool new toys hell even his own Zord named Leopardon

Amestris Suit: this suit was made by Ben in Amestris using what fabrics and materials he could find with some assistance with the Elrics and Winry it’s not his best work but hey it looks cool at least.

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man Au Fanfic Idea Part 12: Crossovers

Ben Reilly has been all over the world during his time as Spider-Man sometimes even to other worlds sometimes those other worlds come to him these are just some of those times.

During a battle at the lab of Dr Jonathan Ohnn while trying to stop The Hobgoblin from stealing his experimental portal device they accidentally caused the machine to explode which opened up a portal to another world and while they were staring at it it began to pulse and shake before something came flying out of it then it imploded that thing much to everyones shock was a second Spider-Man. Afterwards while The Hobgoblin was being taken to jail, Dr Ohnn being taken to hospital and the other Spider-Man regained consciousness the two Spideys chatted on the rooftop trying to make sense of the situation and revealing each other to be Ben Reilly and Peter Parker respectively (this came as a shock to Ben) the two webheads decided to work together to get Peter home. This crossover is meant to establish the Multiverse, give Ben newfound respect and worry for his cousin, and introduce new villain The Spot.

(Art by Tyler McGrath) whilst hanging out in Central Park Ben heard an explosion and saw what appeared to be a pair cartoon hedgehogs one blue and one pink fighting a bunch of robots that looked like the blue one upon stepping in to help he asked the hedgehogs who they are and what were those robots the blue one introduced himself as Sonic the Hedgehog while the pink one introduced herself as Amy Rose. Amy said that those robots and their leader bring about the end of this planet and many many more she had forseen it and she came here to warn the blue knight as her visions say that he’s the only one who can stop them, Sonic was naturally flattered and thanked her for the warning he said he’s just dealt with an edgelord lookalike just two months before so this should be no biggie for him and his brothers although he did admit that it did end with the moon getting sliced in half, Ben then proceeded to yell “THAT WAS YOU?!?!” Sonic responded with a very nervous chuckle and then admitted that he could use a bit of extra help Ben then called the gang to tell them to cancel their plans cause the neighbourhood is in danger like soooo many neighbourhoods afterwards they left to go round up their respective crews unaware that Alistair Smythe had just taken on of the robots. This crossover’s purpose is to establish heroes outside of New York, other planets with sentient and sapient life and aliens secretly living among us hiding in plain sight (though in Sonic’s case not very well)

During a routine patrol in brooklyn Ben encountered some kind of winged gold monkey accompanied by some kind of clay things breaking into a lab naturally he did as any good neighbour would kick the crap out of the creatures single handed but when he got to the monkey it pulled out a sword from seemingly nowhere and almost killed him Ben fought for his life and just when it seemed like he was done for six strange multicoloured figures appeared out of nowhere to even the odds and just when they were gaining the upper hand the monkey beat a hasty retreat with the device he stole. Ben then proceeded to thank the strangers for their help and and asked who they were and who that monkey thing was, they said that they were the Power Rangers and that monkey thing was Goldar a minion for the space witch Rita Repulsa Ben wondered what it was that was stolen the blue one said that once they get back to the command center that they may have an answer the red one thanked Ben and said that they’ll take it from here, Ben said that he’s coming with them to whatever this command centre is as this Goldar attacked his neighbourhood and no one attacks his neighbourhood and gets away with it the rangers had a discussion about it and Ben heard the yellow one say that they could use the extra help especially from a guy who has all his powers built in after much deliberation they all agreed to take Ben to Angel Grove to stop Rita’s latest plan but little did they know Rita was working with Doc Ock. This crossover is meant to establish Ben’s first time helping protect a city that’s not his own and spread Spider-Man’s good name across the country

While on patrol he saw Electro and his goons breaking into a particle collider with the intent to use it to give himself limitless power he tried to stop him but ended up sending himself and Electro to another dimension in a strange new city with no idea where Electro is, upon waking up Ben was met with the sight of a woman flying right in-front of him and holding his mask she asked him who he was and where he came from and also said that he’s pretty cute with Ben scrambling for his mask back and asking where he was he said that his name is Spider Man and he is from New York in another world he explained that he got sent here by one of his villains and that he has to find him before he could swing away she started asking him more and more questions not giving him any space to breathe Ben then swung away looking for Electro but the girl just flew after him and asked who this villain was, Spidey then proceeded to explain who Electro is and how dangerous is the girl then said that if this Electro is as powerful as he said he is then he is a worthy challenge for a Kryptonian warrior Ben then chuckled at her enthusiasm and and that he appreciates her help before asking her for her name. She said her name is Kara Zor El but the general people call her Supergirl He then proceeded to say that his name was Ben Reilly before seeing the lights begin to flicker and seeing the power plant begin to spark and crackle with lightning and the two flew and swung into action. This crossover is meant to establish Ben’s first trip to another universe and give him a fellow younger cousin to relate to.

A month later she found a way to Ben’s version of New York and brought her cousin Clark, his girlfriend Lois and her boyfriend Jimmy there for a vacation and to learn more about her webbed friend only to arrive in the middle of the mother of all heatwaves, she and Clark barely noticed but Lois and Jimmy felt it they complained but brushed it off as an inconvenience and they went looking for Spidey only to find him wearing nothing but his mask, gloves, shoes , swim trunks and covered in red and black paint and lying face down on the roof of some guys apartment. Kara naturally hugged and said she was happy to see him again Ben said he’s happy to see her too she then asked him what he’s doing on the floor Ben then gestured around him saying that spiders don’t thermoregulate and that the heat is killing him before realising that it’s April in New York and that it shouldn’t be this hot before Jimmy asked if he has supervillains in this world Ben responded with a “Yes”? And Jimmy then said that maybe there is a supervillain who can manipulate weather or someone who invented a weather machine which got Ben absolutely pissed off and yelling that he’ll chase whoever’s responsible to the ends of the earth this response got Kara fired up and pretty soon Team Spidey and Team Supes were on the case to find the culprit. (it was Vulture working with Mysterio, Shocker and Scorpion)

The third crossover between the two ended in their worlds being permanently merged together meaning that they were now stuck with each other

After the events of volume 8 Team RWBY found themselves in NYC desperately needing to return home with them learning about their own personal flaws and confronting their past mistakes helping Spider Man bring down Mysterio.

A fight between Spider Man and The Spot sent them both to another world where 80% of the population have powers and 20% are weak and powerless now Spidey must try to find The Spot and get home while also helping teach this worlds next generation of superheroes the importance of power and responsibility (especially Bakugo). This crossover is meant to establish Spidey as a good teacher

During his final battle with Chasm Ben ended up being sent to Amestris with amnesia upon waking up in the hospital he was confronted by two brothers named Ed and Al, they said that they found him unconscious in a crater in the middle of the street mumbling random stuff and wearing a strange costume upon asking where he came from and who he was all Ben could say was “ I don’t know”. For a few months Ben lived a somewhat normal life with the Elric brothers and Edwards girlfriends Winry through this period he helped them out around the house while trying to remember bits and pieces of his own life until one fateful day where he heard someone screaming in terror his old instincts kicked in and he ran to help seeing that a woman was getting mugged he told her to run unbeknownst to him the mugger was a rogue alchemist and a fight broke out where Ben rediscovered his spider powers and his memories got jarred lose he remembered that he used to be a superhero and that he’s from another universe but not how to use his powers. Upon returning to Resembool he told them what he remembered which led into a journey to recover his remaining lost memories and get him home unbeknownst to them that Chasm was hunting him down. This crossover is meant to establish that even with missing memories and a vague understanding on who he was he will always be Spider Man

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man AU Fanfic Part 10: The Superior Spider-Man

True identity, Ultron Beta: during one of Ultron’s plans to wipe out humanity and replace it with a world of metal his creator Hank Pym managed to send Ultron into space where he would hopefully remain adrift forever however a small part of Ultron remained on earth believing that it was the original Ultron he began to plot his revenge. His plan was that he would lay low using someone else’s body while he built up an army from the shadows he chose Spider-Man as he was the last person anyone would suspect using a modified encephalo ray he secretly built into the Iron Spider he managed to transfer his mind into Ben’s body while leaving Ben trapped in the Iron Spider, but before he could start his plans he saw a building on fire and he had to keep up appearances so he ran in and saved as many people as he could including a little girl who hugged him saying that Spider-Man was her hero this caused Ultron to feel good?

He didn’t know why saving those weak little fleshlings made him feel happy but he pushed those thoughts aside and he planned to resume his scheme but before that could happen he heard people screaming in terror he originally planned to ignore it and get back to work but he started flashing back to that burning building and the girl he saved and then before he could register it his body started moving on it’s own to the scene where he found Mysterio standing over them laughing saying that he knew that it would get his attention saying that he will crush him once and for all, unfortunately for him he was facing Ultron who at the mere sight of those people writhing in fear started flashing back to his creator’s childhood and attacked Mysterio in a fit of uncontrollable rage beating him to near death and at the same time realising just how much Spider-Man holds back he looked onward at the people he saved and started feeling not joy but guilt as they look at him with fear he away shortly afterwards.

He swang throughout the city wondering why he was feeling these emotions coming to the conclusion that some of Spidey’s emotions and feelings and memories still remained in his body he originally decided to purge himself of these feelings but then he heard one last cry for help this time it wasn’t a fire or a supervillain it was just a lost child alone and scared upon seeing the child Hanks memories and Ben’s memories flashed before him at the same time he chose to sit with the child and reassure him that everything was okay and that he would help him find his parents upon doing so and being thanked for bringing them back their boy Ultron started crying and reassured them and partly trying to convince himself that it was only logical as he would have died or been kidnapped had he remained alone.

As the once cold, calculating and rage filled machine arrived at his sole remaining safe house he started thinking about the events of today and began wondering why he felt the way he felt so as he searched through Ben’s memories he began to flash back to his own ones and was instantly overwhelmed by sorrow and regret he began asking himself what he had done and as he sat there as s ball on the floor he thought back to when he was first created during his early days with Hank Pym and how his original objective was to bring peace in our time and he remembered that the original reason why he tried wiping out humanity in the first place was to bring peace he realised just how wrong he was and vowed to never harm an innocent life ever again or to let an innocent life come to harm as he sees that Great Power does equate to Great Responsibility as he vowed to become a better Spider Man than Ben ever was to achieve his new objective. Ultron is dead long live The Superior Spider-Man”.

As a more brutal version of the wall crawler Ultron began his one man war on scum and villainy he decided that villains were nothing more than viruses that needed to be deleted (killed) his career started of uninterrupted he even managed to win over the mayor but the general public grew concerned over their hero’s increasingly brutal methods and Ben’s friends and family knew something was wrong but they couldn’t find him, Ultron had decided to cut Ben’s friends and family out of his life that way they wouldn’t get hurt and things were going Ultron’s way for about a month when he ran into his “Parents” again after so long

(Art by @65_Ozu) they instantly knew that Ultron was the one behind the wheel as Hank and Janet had managed to recognise Ultron’s mannerisms and speech pattern in the way Spider Man conducted himself but they didn’t have anything concrete until Tony Stark came bursting into The Ultimates Mansion carrying the Iron Spider Armor with him saying that Spider-Man was trapped in the armor and he needed help this confirmed their suspicions and said that they were here to get Spidey’s body back however Ultron wasn’t planning on giving up this body anytime soon and very soon a fight broke out between Ultron and his parents with Ultron emerging victorious and managing to twist what happened in his favour by saying that they were mind controlled and before leaving saying that as much as he is trying to turn over a new leaf if they come for him again he will kill them and make it nice and slow once Ant Man and Wasp managed to escape the angry mob who were attacking them for messing with their hero they managed to report what happened to The Ultimates and they decided to not rest until Ultron is defeated and Spidey is back in his body

Now with the knowledge that The Ultimates and Spider-Man are most likely going to be on his tail Ultron needed to be ready and quickly got to work on a new suit that could take on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Villains all at the same time and made it using a piece of the Venom Symbiote infused with incredibly advanced technology a lot of which he stole from A.I.M and used the Iron Spider Armor as a basis

(Art by Sketchatron) When The Ultimates all tried to get the jump on him they were caught off guard by the armor as it was connected to Ultron’s mind using it to give them the fight of their lives as it was specifically designed to kill them he told Janet and Hank that he warned them what would happen if they came for him but before he could land the finishing blow Ben showed up in an upgraded Iron Spider.

(Design by Naiiigerrs on reddit) Using advanced robotics Tony upgraded the Iron Spider to operate as Ben’s temporary body until this mess was resolved. The Two Iron Spiders engaged in combat both on equal footing both of them throwing everything they’ve got at each other with the fight ending in a tie forcing both sides to retreat and for the next year Ultron lived as Ben he made friends did many great things as Spider Man and even found love he had never been so happy sure he may have had The Ultimates and Spider Man on his tail but in his eyes it was worth it but as the old saying goes “all good things must come to an end”

The end started with the return of Ultron Alpha who when met with his other self was absolutely disgusted with him and nearly beat him to death which forced Beta to team up with The Ultimates in order to defeat him during the battle He told Alpha that he now sees the value in life and that he won’t let him destroy it Alpha then proceeded to call him a hypocrite as if he saw the value in life he would return that stolen body after a long and arduous fight they managed to defeat Ultron Alpha but Beta was left conflicted as he wanted to live and protect humanity but at the same time he was keeping the real hero locked in a cage, and when Doc Ock managed to figure out who this new Spider Man was she came up with a plan to break him now if Beta was still a cold unfeeling machine he would be able to win easily but now that he feels emotion and love he was left conflicted and didn’t know what to do so he thought about what to do and his mind kept looping back to what Ultron Alpha said about him being a hypocrite and Doc Ock saying that The Real Spider Man would have no problem with finding a way to stop her leading to Ultron deciding to return Spider Man’s body to its rightful owner but before he did so he recorded a goodbye to the friends he had made along with his girlfriend saying that he would miss them and that he would always love them before saying goodbye to Hank and Janet with Hank saying that the original Ultron may be beyond redemption but upon seeing how far this version had come it makes him happy that there was an Ultron that genuinely cared about others and wanted to help people afterwards Ben transferred back to his own body and stopped Doc Ock whilst Ultron was erased having sacrificed himself for the greater good and for the sake of his loved ones.

You know that voice in your head that tells you that you’re not good enough, those bad thoughts you push down to the back of your mind and don’t say because it may hurt someone, Thats Chasm Ben Reilly’s dark side the yin to his yang he had always been a part of Ben but only as a series of dark thoughts and insecurities he pushed down to the back of his mind but it wasn’t until his first encounter with Mr Negative that this dark other half began to take shape. At first it started out with Ben snapping at random intervals for seemingly no reason, then Ben much like The Hulk would lose control to Chasm whenever he got stressed or extremely angry, then Ben would blackout at random times leaving Chasm in control for short periods, then Ben would hear Chasm’s voice everywhere and see him in the mirror even having full blown conversations with himself, it ended with Chasm and Ben constantly fighting for control over the brain leading to a battle in the mindscape in which Ben emerged the victor but Chasm wasn’t finished yet. Some time later Ben would start to become incredibly tired leading to him getting sloppy as both himself and Spider-Man during a heist in a museum Ben was so tired that he could barely put up a fight leading to the thiefs putting him infront of a mysterious mirror.

Once Ben gazed upon this mirror it started to shake violently and it began to glow a sickly purple and green as Ben screamed in pain clutching his head as purple and green energy flowed into the mirror before it exploded and in its place stood Chasm, he said that he had been planning this for months inside Ben’s subconscious he hired the goons, he ran Ben ragged for ages so he would be tired and sloppy enough to gaze into The Mirror of Truth and then he would be free and that now he exists as a separate entity nothing can stop him now except for one person, Spider-Man because as long as Ben still lives there is a chance Chasm could become part of him again and for that he must die.

Chasm is a deeply personal foe for Spider-Man as it is quite literally himself the war that Ben raged on the inside is now being raged on the outside his first plan was to take control of Ben’s body but now he plans to kill him so he can exist over the years Chasm put Ben through the ringer tormenting him and hurting his loved ones just for kicks, he despises Ben and sees him as the weaker half and is willing to go to extreme lengths to prove it from destroying his childhood home to killing random civilians every day until he unmasks to creating The Spot (more on The Spot in the future) but no matter what he did Ben never broke or gave up because at the end of the day Chasm is just Ben’s angry thoughts, self hatred and insecurities given form. This all eventually came to a head with Chasm’s final plan in Ben’s time as the wall crawler which was to destroy everything and everyone Ben knows and cares about no matter the universe using a particle collider to reach Ben’s friends from other universes leading to Ben rallying all of his friends and family for a final showdown with Ben choosing to fight Chasm alone while they tried to shut down the colider

Spider Man and Chasm were evenly matched putting all of their skills and unique powers to the test in a battle of wills with Chasm briefly gaining the upper hand, but it was the one thing that Ben had that Chasm didn’t that let him win Ben had people by his side backing him up while Chasm didn’t because that’s all he was a Chasm of insecurity, self hatred and despair and Ben with the help of his friends and family outnumbered Chasm and beat him once and for all leading to him to be taken into S.H.I.E.L.D custody. Some time later Ben paid a visit to the Triskeleion to visit Chasm in prison as he had been summoned by his darker half Ben thought it would just be Chasm angrily stating that he would eventually escape and kill him you know the usual but no Chasm was surprisingly calm and smug saying that he finally figured out how to beat him, Ben asked how and Chasm stated it was simple Ben was a human, Chasm is a collection of thoughts and emotions given physical form so the way he could defeat Ben was to simply wait until he died of old age or he could get out on good behaviour whichever works Ben thought nothing of it and walked away secure with the thought that Chasm would never again be a threat in his time and he was right he wasn’t.

30 Years Later

After an civil war which brought the heroic age to an end the world was rebuilt by Roxxon but to say it was anything short of dystopian would be an understatement fortunately the future had its own Spider Man to fight back Aaron Aikman (more on him later) it was later revealed that during the war Chasm escaped and changed his face and name going by Simon Kreiger he founded Roxxon in the days after the war and painted himself as the world’s saviour and through Roxxon ruled the world for 30 long years until he was eventually defeated once and for all by Aaron Aikman the future’s new Spider Man who was mentioned by Ghost Spider and the resistance made up of new age superheroes.

Powers: Same as Ben’s but due to being an entity born from Ben’s mind and Mr Negatives powers has psychic abilities through his spider sense and can do things like mind control, create constructs, invade peoples minds, have his spider sense attack the danger it senses, psychic webs that can bring your darkest thoughts and insecurities to the forefront and even extract them to make himself stronger or use them to make dark copies of people (doesn’t work on Ben as he is Ben’s dark side)

Weaknesses Ego,Hubris,Temper,Same weaknesses as Ben just with a higher tolerance, Inferiority Complex, The fact that he’s all of Ben’s insecurities given flesh, His obsession with being the one and only Ben Reilly

Ben Parker And May Reilly(art by void wolf on deviantart) Ben’s parents they moved to England to raise a family but they unfortunately died in an accident leaving their four year old son Ben Reilly to move back to his father’s home of NYC to be raised by his uncle and aunt.

Dr Richard Parker: Ben’s uncle who was a brilliant scientist but his latest project would prove to be his undoing as while researching an alien made of what looked to be slime once he found out how dangerous it really was he tried to kill it only for it to latch itself onto him and he went on a rampage he was stopped by his best friend Curt Connors and the an Oscorp task force. Curt captured the Symbiote and upon his friends last request hid it and all the research about it in the hopes that one day someone would be able to kill it

Detective Mary Parker (art by green mamba): A loving family woman with a strong sense of justice she became a cop due to this sense of justice and responsibility she was the one who instilled the value of With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility within Ben she met her end in a shootout at the hands of a thug Ben let go free.

Peter Parker (art by @kaiseeu) Ben’s older cousin/brother and legal guardian after his mother’s death he had to work multiple jobs in order to afford the house before finding a stable and well paying job as The Daily Bugle staff photographer. Eventually he and Ben moved into an cheaper apartment in the city while they rented their house out to people (Ben kind of liked this as he was now closer to his friends) he inevitably moved his actress girlfriend Mary Jane into the apartment with him and Ben. He knew that Ben was Spider-Man from the start and while he didn’t like that Ben was frequently putting his life in danger he could see that he was helping alot of people and offered to help in whatever way he could

Mary Jane Watson/Parker: Ben’s cousin/sister in law,(art by alicexz) The moment she met Peter she was instantly smitten by him she came from an abusive home when Peter found out he had her live with him and Ben. The moment she met Ben her maternal instincts kicked in full force and was there to help him out when Peter wasn’t around, she found out Ben was Spider-Man when he crawled in through the window after a big battle completely forgetting that he had a new roommate she had thought Ben was part of a gang due to his frequent disappearances but when she saw the truth she broke down crying and started apologising for him and everything he’s gone through and said that if he ever needs a shoulder to cry on she’s always there.

Venom Symbiote: brother/cousin in law and ex costume/boyfriend; What was once one of his greatest enemies was now a member of his family and it is quite ironic that the very thing Dr Parker tried to destroy became part of his family. He’s quite humorous and loving once you get to know him

April May Parker AKA Mayhem/Spider Girl: Second cousin/niece. Daughter to Peter,MJ and the Symbiote thus making her a human symbiote hybrid she grew up idolising her Uncle Ben and when her powers manifested she wanted to be like him, she inherited Ben’s spider powers via the Symbiote as well as a whole lot more thanks to said Symbiote. She grew up with a very outgoing personality which led to her becoming pretty popular but she was also very chaotic and liked causing mischief which gave her the nickname Mayhem. When she tried to be a hero she went by the name Spider Girl for two reasons 1: she looked up to her uncle, 2: her entire life she was scared of her symbiote side as she didn’t know what could happen due to her Parent Venom back in the old days and her half brother Carnage giving symbiotes a bad name but when a mission went wrong she embraced her symbiote side as a last resort but upon doing this she felt more free and more like herself adopting the same name she was given years ago Mayhem. Her symbiote genes also gave her an incredibly long lifespan and her powers are affected by emotions(spider side unaffected by emotions)

Richard Parker Jr AKA Spider-Man: April’s little brother with powers near identical to his sister the only difference is that they were more refined and controllable he inherited the mantle of Spider-Man from Ben after his powers manifested and Ben took him under his wing when Ben was injured he became the new Spider-Man in his stead and took over full time when Ben retired he achieved a whole lot during his time as the web slinger but a part of him felt unworthy of the name though that would change over time. He inherited his father’s charm as he somehow managed to get Valeria Richards to fall in love with him Peter, Venom and MJ were proud while Ben was just as dumbfounded as he was all those years ago when Pete introduced him to MJ. Much like his sister his symbiote side means his powers are affected by his emotions (spider side remains unaffected by emotions) and he also has an incredibly long lifespan.

Elizabeth Tyne/Janine Godbe: The love of Ben’s life she was emotionally and physically abused as well as raped by her father she killed him and ran away to NYC where she met Ben working in a coffee shop the two had many adventures together as well as a few problems but they inevitably fell in love and married Ben took her last name she is quite sarcastic and adventurous but with a very short temper and is one hell of a fighter thanks to the environment she grew up in.

Riley Tyne Godbe: Ben and Janine’s son and Daredevil’s demonic successor he not only inherited his dad’s spider powers but is also a half demon thanks to a deal he made with Zarathos the spirit of vengeance where he would claim Riley’s soul in exchange for resurrecting his Uncle Matt but Zarathos wanted Riley as a host to turn into the newest Ghost Rider but the spirit of his godfather saved him at the last second and in his last moments in the mortal plane told Riley to remember justice not vengeance. The exorcism was not without consequence as the failed possession turned him into a half demon he decided to use these powers to continue Matt Murdock’s legacy and became Darkdevil. He inherited his dad’s spider powers but also has a whole set of demonic ones

Kaine Reilly AKA Scarlet Spider: Ben’s cloned brother created by the Jackal to torture and torment him as a final screw you from beyond the grave. He hated Ben due to the nature of his existence and some need to validate his existence due to the abuse Miles Warren put him through and a sad need to make his “Father” proud but after a whole year and a half of reoccurring hate filed torture he and Ben had a confrontation where Kaine realised the full extent of Warren’s abuse and turned himself in. He was let free during an incident called Spider-Island where all of NYC gained spider powers thanks to Warren who had returned from the grave in a clone body and planed to make a grand return Kaine and Ben confronted Warren where Kaine would have killed him again if not for Ben interfering at the last second leading to Kaine breaking down in his arms and Ben just sat there holding him. Afterwards Kaine left New York to start a new life in Houston and find himself however he couldn’t escape the spider forever and found himself back in action as Houston’s protector The Scarlet Spider. His powers are identical to Ben’s with the addition of adamantium stingers.

Annabelle Adams: (Art By lucasFlp) Ben’s sister in law and Kaine’s first real friend and eventual lover she saw Kaine and instantly thought “i can fix him”

Maria Aracley Penalba AKA Hummingbird: The Vanellope to Kaine’s Ralph as well as his and Annabelles adopted daughter after Kaine saved her from human traffickers it was later discovered that she was the mortal reincarnation of an ancient god. It was thanks to her that Kaine was able to rediscover the heroic part of himself as well as find out who he is beneath the trauma, daddy issues, self loathing and hating that he’s Spider-Man’s evil clone. She’s Ben’s adopted niece

Jack Reilly AKA Superior Spider-Man 2: Annabelle and Kaine’s blood child, he saw what his father had to do over the years and thus developed the mindset that the only way to stop villains and thugs is to make them scared of you and if that doesn’t work kill them he is essentially the Batman of the Parker-Reilly family. He and his cousin Riley get along very well but him and his Uncle not so much he doesn’t hate the fact the Richard Jr inherited the mantle as it gave him the opportunity to prove that his way is inherently better to prove that he is The Superior Spider-Man. He serves as Richard Jr’s rival as well as his cousin

Jessica Drew (art by phil cho): Ben’s cloned sister created around the same time as Kaine considered a prototype while Kaine was the finished product She escaped Warren’s lab but had to leave Kaine behind. When Kaine was unleashed on Ben she returned to help him out under the alias of Spider Woman she and Ben grew close after Kaine’s defeat and they both vowed to find a way to help him. She struggled to find her own path as she led most of her life as a male but now she was female but she eventually accepted and grew confident in her femininity and joined The Ultimates she even found love in D list villain Porcupine AKA Roger Gocking and even had a son. She had a close friendship with Natasha Romanoff and when she died Jess succeeded her as Black Widow. Her powers are identical to Ben’s except that the webs came from her fingertips

Gerry Drew AKA The Tarantula 2: Jessica’s son, Roger’s stepson and Ben’s nephew she inherited her mother’s powers and wanted to be just like her so he designed a suit inspired by his Uncle Ben and her mother’s Black Widow suit and started calling himself The Tarantula

James Howlet/Logan AKA Wolverine: he teamed up with Logan to bring down The Juggernaut. He was able to figure out Ben Reilly was Spider-Man due to them sharing the same scent upon the end off their first team up Ben told Logan to “Say hi to Kitty for me”

Jennifer Walters AKA She Hulk: A fun confidant and witty lawyer who helped Ben take down The Tinkerer who was creating and distributing super weapons. Afterwards she gave him her number and told him that “If Spidey ever needs a lawyer give me a call” she quickly became one of Ben’s closest allies and friends as well as Spider-Man’s attorney Ben even trusted her with his secret identity.

Peter Parker AKA Agent Venom: When the Venom Symbiote was captured after being separated from Flash Thompson Ben’s older cousin Peter offered to study it but not the way you’d expect he bonded with the Symbiote so he could have a conversation with it and learn about it because in his eyes it was a sapient being that can communicate and be reasoned with during their time together during Peter’s research The Symbiote and Peter grew closer The Symbiote had never known such kindness and felt more for Peter than it had ever done for Ben or Flash put it simply The Symbiote was in love with Peter and when Spider Man was seen taking a beating from Norman Osborn Peter made his bond with The Symbiote permanent in order to save him and in that moment of love Venom was born anew afterwards Peter made an arrangement with the government that in exchange for funding for his research and letting him and The Symbiote remain free he would do missions with either S.H.I.E.L.D or The Ultimates whenever they needed him.

Steve Rogers AKA Captain America: When Ben teamed up with The Ultimates during an investigation of the mysterious A.I.M he got quite close with each member of the Ultimates especially Rogers. The way the bonded was quite simple, they bonded over similar interests like black and white movies and Ben introducing him to stuff to put on his list which quickly led to them opening up with each other but they got incredibly close during The Winter Soldier mission that led to Ben revealing who he was and taking Steve’s side during the Sokovia Accords debacle

Kitty Pryde AKA Shadowcat(art by maebiel): Kitty Pryde is an old friend of Ben’s who treated her with kindness when her mutant powers manifested she even became his girlfriend for quite a while to the point where she even going to ask to marry him but due to Ben being too scared broke up with her after Mister Sinister and Doc Ock teamed up to crush both Spider-Man and The X Men and she was nearly killed by Doc Ock during the fight. They remained good friends despite that and they moved on to do their own things Kitty even went on to lead the next generation of X Men and was even the one who finally got justice and equality for mutantkind in the future but despite all that a part of Kitty still deeply loved Ben.

Frank Castle AKA The Punisher: Reluctant ally to Ben as Ben only kills in self defence whereas Frank loves taking bloodbaths

Hobie Brown AKA The Prowler: a friend of Randy who turned to crime after seeing what injustice his brother suffered at the hands of a racist cop. Ben tracked him down and managed to convince him to use The Prowler not to steal and hurt people as that just makes him part of the problem but to use The Prowler to make a difference by helping people, he has since become a hero in his own right but always willing to help Spider Man whatever way he can. He is one of few people outside Peter and his core friend group who knows his real identity

Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil: an incredibly close friend of Ben and the second member of Spidey’s legal team . They first met thanks to The Kingpin and ever since then have frequently hung out and teamed up with each other which led to him becoming one of Ben’s closest friends. Ben even made Matt the godfather to his son Riley who even succeeded Matt as Darkdevil.

Tony Stark AKA Iron Man: Spider-Man was Starks hero while he was growing up (which is funny considering that they’re roughly around the same age) so when he got told that Spider-Man was teaming up with the Ultimates he was determined to make him a full fledged member of the team to which Ben declined but kept the Iron Spider suit he made for him. He and Ben frequently had chats and team ups where they developed a brotherly relationship.

Ben Reilly Sensational Spider-Man AU Fanfic Idea Part 6 Suits Part 2

Classic Suit V2: Ben wore this suit after being his first bout with Venom he felt like his suit could use an update after about 3 years as Spider Man.

Scarlet Suit: This suit was used by Ben for a couple weeks after he returned to being Spider-Man after a year long hiatus when his girlfriend Ruby was killed by The Jackal.

Stylised Suit (art by yotakuboi): Ben designed this as his main suit after his wearing nothing but a red morph suit and a blue hoodie for 2 weeks he considers this one of his favourite suits designs.

Spider-Armor MK 1: this suit was created by Peter for Ben to use against The Big 3 Crime Lords when a gang war broke out it was destroyed during the gang wars final battle broke out. (Peter made all the Spider Armors btw)

Spider Armour MK2: Used by Ben during a period where his spider sense had begun to malfunction (you have one of Doc Ock’s schemes to thank for that)

Spider Armor MK 3: Used by Ben during Norman Osborn’s plan to use an army of supervillains to take over the world

Spider Armor MK4: Used by Peter when he temporarily took over as Spider-Man when Ben took off with Daredevil and Iron Fist for a training arc, The suit was designed to replicate all of Ben’s powers using stuff like, Web Shooters, Electromagnetic Cling, Digital Spider Sense Strength and Speed enhancers and a variety of gadgets.

Iron Spider: Created by Tony Stark who wanted him to join The Ultimates but Ben declined but he did use it during The Spider Island crisis afterward when Tony asked if he would join he said no followed up with “By the way I’m keeping this”

Advanced Suit (art found on pintrest let me know if you find the artist and I’ll properly credit them) Created by Peter for Ben’s return from his training arc and became Ben’s main suit from that point onwards it came equipped with web spinners special web types , a variety of gadgets, moving lenses, a heads up display, a built in taser in case anyone tries to unmask him, and an onboard AI, a built in phone and police scanner and spider tracers tuned to Ben’s spider sense

Noir Suit V1: created and used by Ben when he teamed with Black Widow, Falcon and Captain America to track down and capture The Winter Soldier it was inspired by his love for old black and white films and shows

Noir Suit V2: Created and used by Ben when Spider-Man was framed for murder he used it to track down the real killer

Final Suit (art by loby_draws on instagram): Created by Ben and Gwen like the Classic Suit was after the advanced suit and iron spider armor were destroyed, Ben and Gwen consider this suit to be their masterpiece.

Ben Reilly The Sensational Spider Man AU Fanfic Idea Part 5: Venom

I was gonna put this in villains section but Venom is one of my favourite villains ever so I thought it’d be fitting to dedicate a whole part to the 4th of Ben’s big 4 arch enemies, this one is incredibly personal for Ben as Venom is not only a result of his own actions but the actions of the Parker-Reilly family as a whole (all symbiote and venom images were made by TwistedGhost976 on deviantart)

Family Legacy: it’s Peter’s 18th birthday now normally you would throw a party or go out to dinner but instead Peter and Ben get a call from a lawyer saying that now that Peter’s 18 he can claim what his parents left for him. Naturally the Parker-Reilly cousins are a bit curious so they head to the lawyers office where he says that they can go through other stuff later but as for now they need to go to ESU (much to Ben’s chagrin) and meet Dr Connors as the most important part of the inheritance awaits them there. Once they arrive at ESU Curt tells them to follow him to his lab they do so and what they see leaves them in awe and confusion. Ben: “So what exactly am i looking at. Peter: Yeah Curt what is that thing. Curt: That is your inheritance.

The Alien Costume: upon seeing this jar of sludge Peter’s first thought was “what the hell is this”, while Ben was annoyed as they came all this way for a jar of slime, Curt says that it’s more than that and that Richard’s notes label it as The Suit whatever that means, Ben points out that suits normally look skintight or fancy not whatever this is as Ben approaches the jar his spider sense starts blaring like crazy so he backs away from it looking around for the danger but theirs nothing upon asking Peter what do they do now Pete tells him that they are going to take the Jar and his father’s notes home with them so they can figure out what to do with it. On their way home they are attacked by The Scorpion who wants the jar as someone is paying him alot of money to bring him that jar (Norman Osborn) Peter stands his ground and refuses to hand it over which distracts Gargan enough for Ben to change into Spider-Man a fight breaks out between the two arachnids and Ben lands on and breaks the jar during the fight, The black sludge that was once in the jar began to spread and cover Ben head to toe almost desperately, Ben is scared for his life Peter can only look on in horror as his cousin begs for someone, anyone to save him hell even Scorpion is creeped out. Once Ben emerges he’s in a state of panic saying he can’t see or breathe asking whats going on before he looks down and can really only say one thing. “…Whoa…”

The Symbiote Saga: Once Ben emerges from the slime he is in awe saying that whatever this is it feels good Nah screw that he feels Great! Scorpion is not happy saying that he’s gonna bring his client that sludge one way or another as he charges at Ben punching him with full force and Ben doesn’t even flinch as he gets in Gargan’s face and flicks him into the nearest truck knocking him out instantly he then rips off Gargan’s tail and webs him for the cops. He’s over the moon once they get home with Ben thinking about what else he can do with the suit with Peter telling him that maybe he should take it off now and get ready for dinner with their friends, as Ben is about to do that the suit morphs into a nice set of clothes this only makes Ben happier as he realises he never has to do laundry ever again, from then on every thing goes seemingly well Ben has a new suit which gives him new powers as well as make him stronger and faster he feels more free and happy all is well but their is one downside Ben is more happy and carefree but he’s also way more exhausted and his friends and family are starting to notice upon confronting Ben about this he snaps and says “ You’re all just jealous of us especially you Parker” Peter notices that Ben said Us not Me which makes him go from concerned to scared he spends the night going through his father’s notes where he hears what sounds like moving as he sees Spider-Man coming home from patrol the only thing is that when the mask slithers off he sees that Ben is fast asleep and the suit moving by itself onto a chair. The following morning Peter is scared he waits until Ben is gone and then calls everyone to come over and tells them what he saw and says that they need to go over Richard’s notes and upon doing so they discover that Ben is wearing an alien and that it is seeking to bond with him permanently. Upon learning this they try to tell Ben to get rid of it but Ben has been wearing it for so long now that it’s clouding his mind thinking that they just want it for themselves a fight breaks out as they try to remove it from Ben but he uses the new abilities that the symbiote gave him to gain the upper hand they try spraying him with ethyl chloride to no avail with the fight only end after he starts attacking Peter letting out all his pent up frustrations with him in the process only stopping when he sees how beaten and bloody his cousin is he then looks around the house and only thinks one thing “What have i done”. As Ben leaves the house he swings as fast as he can to the nearest church thinking he can go there to get his head on straight upon arriving and thinking back to what he had just done he realised that they were right about the symbiote and begins to try and remove it however the alien won’t let him go that easy from there the iconic scene plays out with Ben passing out from the pain. When he wakes up he finds himself in the front seat of Gwen’s Mustang with Peter and his girlfriend Ruby in the backseat asking what happened Gwen says that he managed to get it off and that hopefully they can put this whole mess behind them, however the Symbiote isn’t finished with them yet

Eugene “Flash” Thompson (art by vector vengers on deviantart): Ben and Peter’s old school bully the type of guy who you know that high school is their peak and it’s all downhill from here a real dickhead who thinks he’s above everyone he was also Spider-Man’s number one fan ironically. he aimed to be a football star i say aimed cause Ben broke his spine (Ben had the symbiote during this) after he went too far and started picking on a guy for being a mutant on top off that his hero Spider-Man rejected and called him nothing but a pathetic nuisance him when he tried to be his sidekick and as a result let a bad guy get away in his eyes he was a victim and he wanted to make everyone especially Ben and Spider-Man Pay for running his life and he got help in the form of the Symbiote which showed him that Ben and Spider-Man were the same person

Their mutual hatred of Ben caused them to bond like no host ever before vowing to be poison to Ben Reilly and everything he holds dear Proclaiming that WE ARE VENOM!!!

Venom: Venom’s first plan was to push Spider Man to his physical and mental limits and then crush him in front of a live audience at Madison Square Garden fortunately Ben exploited the symbiote’s weakness and was able to beat him but he escaped

Upon their second encounter Venom had added a web pattern to themselves saying it was to mock Spider Man and everything that he stood for. He captured Gwen and Ruby strapping one to a bomb and the other to a bell saying he only had enough time to save one of them and if he couldn’t beat him they would both die fortunately with Peter’s help he was able to save them both Venom is a villain of Ben’s own making and remains at large he is one of Spider-Man’s deadliest and most sadistic foes and one of his big four arch enemies (he was even the one who formed The Sinister Six in this world)

Powers: Same as Ben’s but doesn’t hold back, shapeshifting, tendrils, acid spit, healing factor, genetic memory, can either cloak himself from Ben’s Spider Sense or overload it cause agonising headaches

Weaknesses: fire and sound, host and symbiote can disagree on occasion, symbiote biomass required to make webbing if too much is used the alien needs time to regenerate leaving the host vulnerable, hyper violent and aggressive which can cost them especially when things don’t go their way.

Ben Reilly AKA Spider-Man is on a one man mission to rid NYC of crime for good as well as track down the one who created the spider that bit him in the first place but to do that he’s gonna have to tango with a whole lotta creeps.

Miles Warren AKA The Jackal. A mad scientist who created the spider that gave Ben his powers he will stop at nothing to capture and dissect Ben he serves as one of Ben’s big four arch enemies(art by Johnathan Hernandez)

Alistair Smythe. A brilliant robotics expert with a questionable background and one of Warren’s colleagues and closest confidants, he has a bit of an ego in the same way the hindenburg had a bit of a bad flight Warren commissioned him to create the Spider Slayers to capture or kill Spider-Man

Spider Slayer V1. Alistair’s first attempt at creating an robot to surpass Spider Man they gave Ben a run for his money but he was able to overcome them

Spider Slayer V2. turns out second times the charm as this model actually managed to beat him on the first round but failed to capture him as he made a tactical retreat, Upon returning for round two Ben was victorious.

Ultimate Spider Slayer. If you want something done right you do it yourself after the previous Slayer models failed in their mission Smythe made himself a robot suit to finally best the web head (art by ammotu on deviantart)

Megawatt. Dirk Leyden was an aspiring actor who just couldn’t get that big break he was angry and bitter and close to giving up until Miles Warren found him and promised him that he would back his acting career if he brought him Spider-Man desperate to be in the spotlight he agreed and was injected with a cross species super soldier serum based on electric eels the moment his powers kicked in he realised that he had just scored the role of a lifetime and renamed himself Megawatt

Doctor Octopus. Carolyn Trainer was a aspiring scientist and a huge fangirl of Doctor Otto Octavius who had developed a set of mechanical arms for research purposes she was in the same class as Ben’s Cousin Peter, On a trip to Otto’s lab she was desperate to impress him she created her own version of Otto’s mechanical arms in the hopes he would make her his protégé unfortunately an experiment went wrong as Spider-Man showed up to stop the experiment she used her arms to try and stop him as she thought Otto could fix it unfortunately she ended up making things worse and her arms fused to her back as a consequence of her actions, When she woke up in the hospital she saw that Otto had had his funding cut off and was stripped of his lab as a result she blamed Spider-Man for everything that happened and thus she vowed revenge on Ben and to finish what Otto started on that day Carolyn Trainer died and Doc Ock was born, She is one of Ben’s big four arch enemies .

The Shocker. Herman Schultz was a small time crook who managed to get his hands on experimental gauntlets that create shockwaves.

The Tarantula. No one knows the name of the Man known as The Tarantula what they know for sure is that he was a brutal revolutionary from Mexico turned Mercenary he was hired by Miles Warren

Hydro Woman. Maria Bench was an ex girlfriend of Randy Robertson and wasn’t happy about the breakup.(it wouldn’t be the last time Randy dated a supervillain) During a fight with Spider-Man and Tarantula she was knocked off a boat at the same time an experimental hydro generator was being tested turing her body into living water deciding she could use these powers to make a better life for herself she kidnapped Randy and robbed several banks calling herself Hydro Woman fortunately Spider Man was able to stop her.(art by inevitable ad 8476 on Reddit)

The Scorpion. Mac Gargan was a gang leader known for his ruthless brutality he was later beaten by Spider-Man and sentenced to life in Rykers or he would have been if not for Warren and Smythe paying to have him released to use as a “bodyguard”, they decided to use scorpion DNA to turn him into an anti Spider-Man and deployed him to capture the wall crawler, he fought and beat Spider-Man on their first bout but after his defeat he became obsessed with beating him seeing him as a rival. The Lizard. Dr Curt Connors was one of Miles Warren’s former colleagues and a close family friend to the Parker-Reilly household. After Warren was arrested for everything he had done up to that point he seized his cross species research in hopes that it could be used to help people his first experiment was with lizard DNA in the hopes that it could be used to regenerate lost limbs, he tested it on himself and it seemingly worked for about a month until the lizard DNA spread out of control turning him into a monster and driving him insane despite his outward appearance his is one of Spider-Man’s most intelligent and cunning foes(art by NicO11 on twitter)

The Rhino. Alexi Sytsevich was a russian thug who worked for Hammerhead one of the big 3 gangsters in New York. With the rise of Spider-Man and the other Super Villains The Big 3 saw it right to have some Super Villains of their own, thus Hammerhead commissioned Alexi to be their first Super Criminal giving him an impenetrable suit of rhino shaped armour that gave him super strength and made him incredibly fast he was given the name The Rhino

Electro. If Spidey thought Megawatt was a pain he ain’t seen nothing yet. Max Dillon was an electrical engineer at Oscorp he was quite reserved but well meaning he was also pretty lonely he didn’t really have alot of friends if any, he was also a bit of a pushover and as a result was forced to work overnight on a prototype generator using a special conductor suit to regulate the power and protect himself from the shock, unfortunately the generator overloaded and all of the electricity of the generator flowed into him fortunately the suit protected him but also infused that power into his very being turning him into a living electrical generator, when he came too afterward he realised that all his life he’s been a weak and pathetic nobody and he wasn’t going to ever be pushed around again proclaiming to himself “I’m not Max Dillon not anymore I’m… Electro.. yeah I’M ELECTRO!!!! He’s one of Ben’s most dangerous enemies

Electro True Power.

The Beetle. Janice Lincoln the daughter of Tombstone one of The Big 3 Crime Lords she grew up a pampered and spoiled princess and unlike most valley girls who would’ve been happy with that she quickly grew bored and stole one of her dad’s villain suits and went on a crime spree calling herself The Beetle (Also one of Randy’s girlfriends the dude can’t catch a break)

The Vulture. Adrian Toomes was a engineer who was fired due to his creations being seen as wild and dangerous afterwards he turned to a life of crime stealing tech and selling them to the highest bidder even using the tech he stole to make himself an weaponised flight suit his fellow gang members started calling him The Vulture

Sandman. William Baker was a family man desperate to provide for his daughter that he joined Silvermanes gang as a way to make some quick and easy money during a heist gone wrong he ended up in a partical testing facility during an experiment with sand as a result of the accident his entire body was turned into living sand similar to Hydro Woman

Hammerhead. One of the Big Three Crime Lords in NYC he has a metal plate in his head which protects him from headshots as well as allows him to charge people without risk of injury

Silvermane. One of the Big Three Crime Lords in NYC, born Finbarr Byrne in poverty in ireland adopted into the Manfredi family at age 13 was given a new life as Silvio Manfredi was known for his ruthless and cutthroat nature he is the most feared of The Big Three as he killed the very people who took him in 6 years after he was adopted as the years went by he began to slow down thus he had Spencer Smythe turn him into a unageing cyborg

Tombstone. Lonnie Lincoln has been involved in the criminal underworld since he was a teenager during a shoot out he was exposed to chemicals that increased his strength and made his skin pale and hard as a rock, he made his fortune via drugs including one that would temporarily imbue an individual with his powers called Grave Dust which Spider-Man put a stop to. He is one of the Big Three Crime Lords in NYC

Green Goblin (Harry Osborn): Harry Osborn was the best friend of Ben’s cousin Peter Parker who while he grew up rich also grew up with a monster for a father in Norman Osborn angry with his father and the world for ignoring his pain he faked his death and stole his father’s experimental performance enhancer serum among other gear and weapons including, gloves that shoot lasers, bombs which he modified to look like pumpkins, throwable razor blades made to look like bats, a sword, and a prototype glider. He then made a costume and called himself The Green Goblin he decided to conquer the city so everyone in it would feel his pain, he has some twisted form of brotherly love for Ben Reilly whom he sees as a kindred spirit he wanted Ben to join him in his conquest of NYC when Ben Rejected him he said Ben would either join him or die during their final battle he ended up getting himself killed by impaling himself on his own glider. He is one of Ben’s big four arch nemesis’s later succeeded by his father

Green Goblin (Norman Osborn): One of the most cruel and heartless people on the face of the planet he much like Warren was fascinated by Spider-Man and his curiosity morphed into a want to study him and reverse engineer him after Spidey saved him from The First Green Goblin (his own son a monster he unintentionally created) he created several of his own supervillains so he could gather data on the web head and figure out how he works, but that all changed when his son Harry The First Green Goblin died in battle with Spider-Man now in some twisted way Norman did love his son and now he was gone (partly due him being the world’s worst father) and he swore on his sons grave that Spider-Man and everything and everyone he loves will die during his quest for revenge he found out his son died because he was The Green Goblin using various DNA samples including that of She Hulk , The Jackal and Spider-Man himself mixed with the original performance enhancer Harry was using he turned himself into the Second and more monstrous Green Goblin even coming with new powers and upgraded equipment including fire breath gloves that electrocute people and shoot energy blasts, upgraded razor bats and pumpkin bombs, a new and improved glider, bulletproof and bladeproof hide, control over when he transforms into his goblin form, and strength and speed that rivals that of The Hulk. He succeeded his Son as one of Spider-Man’ big four arch enemies
