-they’re both waaaaay protective over the other

-dexter can get jealous easily but he never says anything and just silently worries, but kevin can always tell when he’s feeling off and reassures him

-near like when they first met dexter was constantly trying to impress kevin, this only stopped because something happened that made everyone disappointed in him and kevin was the only one who stayed

-dexter always wakes up before kevin and whenever he has to get up for work dexter brings him his breakfast, this always lifts kevins spirits even just a little bit
