Safety Alert

So as of today, I have started to see ads popping up with clear malicious intent on tumblr. One example being of an ad that claims 'multiple devices are logged into your account'.

There's no way that something like that was made with good intentions, and if possible help spread the word to that maybe @staff will catch wind of it and review what ads get pushed out on to the site.

You know, I've had my settings on tumblr set in such a way as to disable as much tracking and targeted advertising as possible. I myself have been on the site for probably over a decade at this point, but I'm sure there's plenty of actual children that come to tumblr.

So, the 'untargeted' ads that I should be seeing have just devolved to showing me one or two different ads for some game that, for all intents and purposes should be rated M or R, thanks to just how heavily the ad is censored. I'm sorry but if your ad for a game has to go that heavy on censorship, maybe you shouldn't be advertising it where kids can see it.

Won't be telling what the game's name is, but if you're reading this mysterious advertiser, you know who you are, and you should be ashamed of yourself.
