Batman is generally not seen in daylight hours. If he ever is, shit is truly going down. However, there is an exception to the rule and the other Bats fall under the rule as well. It all started when Gordon was walking Bats through the follow up after a child trafficking ring and discussing the upcoming case. Gordon admits that the kids have to testify in person and whilst their abusers won't be in the room, they're still afraid and reluctant. Batman was quiet for a long while before asking if he could sit in the courtroom. He won't interfere or anything that will jeopardise the case, he will just sit where the kids can see him? So they know they're going to be safe? And it works. Bats does it a few times and sometimes, if the kids or victims ask, they can have Nightwing or Robin or Batgirl or Spoiler or Red Robin, some kids even want Red Hood because he's bigger and tougher than the people that hurt them. You will never see the Bats arrive and after the trial is over, you won't find Batman or his Bats lingering. They simply appear and vanish.

⚔️ jaydami thoughts .. particularly damian's obsessive little crush. i've always likes the idea that during era of lost days, damian saw jason around talia all the time. back then, jason was a husk of himself. mindless before his stint in the lazarus pit, then vengeful and angry before he ran away. he always remembered jason growing up, since jason was the bridge between two sides of himself. in fact he was a little obsessive over jason because of it.

damian's first fantasy was of jason todd. it wasn't what he'd expected at all, because from what he'd heard it should be a girl. a soft and sweet girl that would be all shy and pliant for damian.

rather, he dreamt of that violent and unpredictable young man. a jason todd that would pin him down and leer at him, taunt him for thinking of his brother like this. call him a sick little boy, and all sorts of unpleasant things that made damian's blood boil but his heart race ar the same time. maybe he was sick, maybe that's how jason would see him. and maybe he loved being sick in the head.

Mer!Jason who lives by an abandoned private beach/house. Until one day a young couple (Dick and Tim) moves into the home and starts fixing it up. And Jason finds himself falling a little in love with both of them as he watches the care and effort they put into both the renovations and each other.

(Watching them mate on the rocky part of the shore definitely plays a part in that)

It's a shame they don't know he's there, don't even know he exists.
