Whumper leaving whumpee alone to “think about what they’ve done” before the actual punishment so every time Caretaker leaves them alone, they feel this overwhelming sense of guilt and dread, even if they know logically nothing is coming.
Stubborn whumpees who refuse to do what's 'asked' of them. Who fight tooth and nail against a little thing. Who then get beaten for refusing to do the thing :)
And who change their mind about doing the thing and now get to do it anyway, but with a bonus of doing so in pain. Was it worth it?
Refuse to kneel? Enjoy smashing down on battered knee caps (bonus if broken or shot).
Resist being handcuffed? A broken wrist should sort that.
Don't want to answer any questions? Or address Whumper with respect? Shame you'll eventually do so anyway, but now with a voice hoarse from screaming.
Whumpee who doesn’t really know/doesn’t really want to explain how their situation has them feeling, so they just default to “I’m tired.”
They say it over and over and over, until it pisses off their Whumper. “You’re tired? You have no idea what tired is.”
They say it over and over and over, to a caretaker that dies everything possible to help Whumpee sleep more.
In the end, the thing no one’s getting right is that the issue isn’t being tried. No, it’s something far, far harder to tackle.
Caretaker coming to rescue whumpee but whumpee is so delirious and messed up that they don’t recognize caretaker and try to fight back. Whumpee is too injured to do real damage but just won’t stop fighting regardless, “whumpee please! It’s caretaker I’m trying to get you out of here!” Time is running out and it gets so bad that caretaker no choice but to knock whumpee out for both of their sakes. Carrying an unconscious whumpee to safety caretaker can’t help but feel guilty “I’m so sorry whumpee. I’m so sorry I just had to I’m sorry.”
Whumpee dissociating
Looking at their hands and feeling like they aren't real and aren't theirs.
Always feeling dizzy.
Thinking back at the whump and feeling like it was a dream.
Caretaker mentioning what happened to whumpee and they suddenly feel like they are no longer in their body.
Eyes darting to different objects in the room, feeling like non of it is real and they aren't really there.
A strange tingling sensation in their arms and legs.
A foggy memory of the whump, maybe not remembering it at all.
Falling back in old conditioned behavior without even realizing it is happening.
Spending hours just staring at the wall, unable to move or do anything.
Vision going blurry.
Snapping an elastic band against their wrist to get themselves back in their body. Maybe even self harm.
Not realizing they are crying until caretaker points it out.
Losing their ability to speak or think.
Having a memory resurface and then immediately forgetting it again, like a mist suddenly took over their brain.
Having a memory resurface but forgetting it the moment they try to speak it out loud, frustrating both themselves and caregiver.
Being clumsy, knocking things over, accidentally running into walls or doors or tables because they aren't aware where their body is.
Going from extremely emotional to extremely numb to extremely emotional to extremely numb.
I just keep coming up with random lines of dialogue and doing nothing with it so here take this mixed back of prompts(?) I guess:
"There. These will hold you in place. Keep you nice and still for me."
"I'm not gonna kill you, silly! Who would I play with if you're dead?"
"You look so good like this. I might just keep you here to look at forever."
"I never should have come with you! I'm so stupid!" // "You're not stupid, sweetheart. Maybe just a bit too trusting."
"This is your own fault, you know. We could have had everything if you just stayed with me."
"You don't need them, anyway. I'm the only one who can love you like this."
"I should kill you for leaving me like that. But I can't. I need you. And you need me too, even if you don't see it yet."
"Are you gonna kill me?" // "No. But you're gonna wish I did."
"Hey, don't struggle. It's okay. Just be good for me, alright? I really don't want to hurt you. So just relax and let this happen. If you're good, I promise to let you enjoy it, too."
"I'm sorry. But you're just so cute. How am I meant to control myself when I'm around you?"
"This would hurt a lot less if you just calm down and accept it."
Whump concept:
Whumpee is the younger of identical twins but was shipped off to military or something else since he was “the spare”. The brother became king but was a horrible person. Whumpee tried to stop him but was thrown in the dungeon. Now there’s been a rebellion and they’ve mistaken whumpee for his brother and want to make him pay — and he feels responsible for not stopping his brother and doesn’t protest
"i did what you wanted. now let me go," living weapon says to whumper, scratching the dried blood on their hands.
whumper brushes a piece of hair out of living weapon's face, "why would i let you go now? after seeing what you could do for me?"
"sorry for the mess," whumpee says, picking trash off of the floor and stuffing it into the overfilled trash can. They lie, "I don't usually let it get this bad."
caretaker comes into town and stays with their old friend whumper and whumpee. everything's great, if they ignore the small things that don't make sense. like the lock on the outside of whumpee's door, the drugs in the cabinet with whumper's name on them that they won't claim, and how caretaker swears they saw whumper crushing some up and put them in whumpee's food.
There Was Only One Bed but make it whump.
when whumpee and caretaker arrive at the motel, caretaker is surprised to discover that the last of the rooms have been taken, so they have to opt for the only one left. it's getting too late to go look for another motel.
they're on a business trip, and since they've already eaten, it takes the two of them no time to get ready for bed, their event being early in the morning. caretaker shuffles their feet awkwardly, thinking of how to bring up the issue. maybe they should just offer to sleep on the mattress lying by the foot of the bed?
but when whumpee enters the room, they simply go lie down on the mattress. without even asking.
feeling awkward and confused, caretaker choses to ignore it, happy that they can go straight to sleep. it takes no time for them to pass out as soon as their head hits the pillow.
they are woken by quiet whimpering from somewhere in their periphery. opening their eyes, it takes them a moment to adjust to the dim lighting cast by the streetlamps outside, and when they do, they find whumpee pressed to the furthest wall, curled up and clutching at their blanket tightly.
unsure of what to do next, they try calling out for them. when that doesn't work, they lower themself to the floor, trying to shake whumpee awake. between one blink and the next, their coworker has hit the wall in an attempt to get away from them. they're mumbling something nearly indecipherable, but they can make out don't, and please, and hurt.
Okay I need to get this thought out there.
Lab rat whumpee that resolves to sabotage whumper's experiments without them noticing. Somehow, they succeed, Whumper growing more frustrated and disheartened by the day. Until eventually, at their wits end and determined to get that breakthrough no matter the cost, they leave whumpee alone and turn the equipment on themself instead.
And then whumpee has to sit and watch their captor try increasingly drastic methods, to the point that the pain they'd put whumpee through looks like a walk in the park in comparison, unable (and perhaps unwilling) to do anything but observe the escalation of cruelty.
Torturer whumper strapping whumpee down and cutting their clothes away, whumpee bracing for pain.
But whumper doesn't touch any of the implements they've brought. Does not marr a single piece of whumpee's skin.
All whumper does is touch.
"You don't understand!" Whumper grabs whumpee by the collar with both hands and forces their back against the wall, pinning them there under whumper's body.
Whumpee cringes as whumper snarls in their face.
"You don't understand and so help me I am going to make you understand!"
whumpee who the team was always overprotective of because they were the kindest of them all with the least experience, who always tried to find a way to get out of a situation without anyone getting hurt more than necessary
team seeing whumpee being possessed or mind controlled or something similar, just being made to do horrible things against their will, knowing that whumpee is aware of every second and nothing they can do would bring then back to the way they were
!
“Please. Please don’t do this. I’m….I’m begging you.”
“Oh, I know.” Whumper’s voice is smooth and satisfied. “I like it."
Whump Prompt #1804
Submitted by @catofthewoods - thanks!
Lord knows I love sibling whump, so here’s a hyper-specific prompt:
The older sibling briefly goes missing, only to be found shortly after by the rest of the group. Everything seems fine, until the younger sibling excitedly rushes into the room, freezes as they spot the thing that looks like their older sibling, and refuses to go anywhere near them.
What if you were replaced by something Other and the only one who could tell was too young to be taken seriously. What if the person you looked up to and counted on to protect you is still missing, and nobody believes you. what then.
