Today a very friendly Golden Retriever came up to me and I said "hey buddy :D" and the owner asked "do you know each other?" like his dog had a social life he didn't know about
he wasn't even looking at me and he found me

btw it's so fucking stupid you can be anxious physically in your body even after you've decided mentally you don't care. I'm supposed to be in charge here
I love vague labels that make people go "but that's confusing" or "but that could mean anything" Good. Keep guessing lol
"Queer doesn't actually tell me anything" who says I wanted to tell you anything. Who even are you.

It is imperative that the customer remain unaware that employees drink water, it frightens and scares them to think of an employee as having human needs
the best thing you can do to a character make them averse to touch and absolutely starved for it

I’m so excited about these it’s crazy. I wanted to wait to post them till I got the physical copies, but some of you who have watched the youtube vid I made for the My Neighbor Janice Youtube channel will have already seen these! They’re up now on my Etsy! Link HERE! ⭐️
why so silent good messieurs
I’m SEVERELY disappointed this post didn’t include the eye witness statement of the mirror crash incident in question
needed this on my blog
I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve seen this, but I still have earworms from this pop up in my head at least once a month.

“the recording is of a blackbird in my garden in the north of scotland. the idea of the piece is that it's a letter home from a migrated bird, telling the family of its new life and making the connection between the migrant and the homeland.” - jennifer cantwell
people who write fics. how do you feel about comments on super old ones you wrote like 2+ years ago
Bringing this out of the tags:
A fic written 2 years ago is NOT OLD. Two years is nothing. Two years ago was yesterday.
Also I don't care if a fic is 10 years old. Leave those comments!! Even if you think the author isn't active, or moved on from the fandom, I promise you it will make them smile.
I commented on a fic that was 11 years old, and there was already a response by the time I got up the next morning. Comment on the fics, please, comment on them, I promise it'll make the author's day either way
I got a comment on a fic of mine this week that just read "TWO THOUSAND AND NINE?"
I replied to it within seconds, of course. someone commented on my fic
As @pentapoda put it in this post:
(transcript: Every time someone comments on my old fic, i feel like I'm an old actor getting paid residuals. Appreciate you, old-fic-commenters. Key source of emotional income, tbh.)

even beyond the obvious, any debate around how many books per year people read is so goddamn silly to me because sure yeah you can read 100 easily digestible romances or poetry collections of 70 pages or whatever, and it's something else entirely than reading 100 nonfiction books of 500 pages each or long-winded fantasy or whatnot. like not at all in a 'one is better/more worthwhile/more serious' or some such bullshit, simply by sheer matter of actual pages read and general reading speed and processing of the actual subject matter. like can we be so for real can we stop acting like any number of books read per year says absolute jackshit about how """good""" you are at reading. jfc
#the only good version of this is people being like 'i read 300 books this year' then proceeding to show off the board books/picture books#they read to their kid via @frodo-of-the-nine-fingers
okay no yeah fullly agreed they are the funniest people alive and need to keep going
