Today's workout @crossfitsoutheastwitham was a mixture of sumo deadlifts, thrusters and rowing π°π°π° I started with working up to heavy reps sumo deadlifts. Sumo deadlifts allow you to lift more safely than conventional deadlifts as you take a wider tance with bent legs. This reduces the distance needed to pull the weight off the floor. Arms are close together and locked out. To be honest if you are tall like me you may prefer these π Make sure you keep the core tight and chest up and squeeze the butt at the top of the rep. I then did a juicy METCON which looked like this: πͺ 500m row πͺ 16 thrusters @ 35kg πͺ 400m row πͺ 12 thrusters @ 40kg πͺ 300m row πͺ 8 thrusters @ 45kg πͺ 200m row πͺ 6 thrusters @ 50kg πͺ 100m row πͺ 4 thrusters @ 50kg πͺ 500m row I warmed up by doing some sets of thrusters @ 30kg and 32.5kg before starting π I don't enjoy thrusters but they are such a cardio and strength workout if you go moderate to heavy.
