Marauders Headcanons!

Peter LOVES American baseball, and is even more obsessed with sports statistics. He loves the story of the Oakland A’s and how they built up the team via statistics ONLY. He’s the math genius of the marauders, and for every talent show in grade school, he’d take volunteers from the audience to give him two large numbers, and he’d multiply them together in his head. Anything math was EVERYTHING to Pete.

People think that Sirius, the pureblood, is the tea drinker because of his fancy upbringing that included tea time, and Remus is the coffee drinker, needing it for the late nights he spends in the library studying or the mornings after a full moon. In actuality, it’s completely flipped, with Sirius drinking the grossest, sugariest coffees in the mornings in rebellion of his raising (he hates the taste of coffee but simply MUST spite his family). Remus HAS to have tea every single morning, and he’s a total snob about it. His tea routine is SO extensive that he wakes up a full thirty minutes before Sirius JUST to steep his tea.

James has a THING about clean shoes. He bloody hates them. Has to scuff up a pair of them as soon as he gets them, taking them outside and dragging them through the dirt, throwing them against trees, and beating them up, leaving them in the sun to fade. Effie cringes every time she sees it happening, thinking it’ll change as he gets older, and fleamont just laughs. The irony of Fleamont’s OWN childhood being in a rural town in India where all his shoes fell apart on their own because his family was too poor to afford new ones is not lost on him as he watches his spoilt sweetheart of a son dragging his new chucks through the mud because “they HAVE to match moony’s, dad! His Docs are so scuffed up! It looks so COOL!”
