Hey, I am all for mutants looking out for each other.” Pietro only possessed the genetic coding for his abilities, he didn’t have then since the day he came into this world, but he could still understand the oppressive struggles mutants were faced with. “You wouldn’t be the substitute, okay? You and Wanda are two completely different people.” Though, they both didn’t want anything to do with him. He was the optimistically stubborn one, Wan made all the wrong choices for the wrong reasons, and this girl with the green hair sounded like their father. “He might use that as an advantage.” Pietro sighed, taking a step forward, “Look, if he lies as much as you say he does, then I’m not willing to give him that chance to be in my life. He openly expresses his hatred for the family I have for the reason that I’m more loyal to them than him. I want to help and I may know how to do it. Let me in on this and then you’ll never have to see me again once this is over.”
“If a bad seed tries, I’ll end them,” Lorna promised darkly, her hazel eyes narrowing. She’d already killed mutants and humans alike-- those who keep the ones who can’t protect themselves captive. The ones who used their own abilities to make others suffer-- the unforgivable. She would become the damned for the weak. “I know what loneliness is like, and the lonely wish to see things that aren’t there in other people.” She watched the kid step closer to her warily, listening and absorbing his words before she shook her head. “Erik thinks that just because he contributed to our births, we owe him when we really don’t owe him a damn thing,” she all but spat out, “you do realize by using whatever plan you have in your head that you’re going to be putting your farm family on the line-- correct? I think they’ve been through enough.”

Purple is a bold statement-- do it. I usually give people a warning, and then throw them through a window if they don’t stop their incessant staring.

It was never hard to pick out the mutants in the crowds of normies-- and if Laura was following her around, it wasn’t hard to for Lorna to do the same thing; bringing her right to the doorstep of the Summers brothers. “Does he deserve this beating?” she asked as she stepped out of the shadows, her arms crossing over her leather clad chest, “if he does, I won’t stand in your way.”

“You would just have another carbon copy of the Brotherhood. Maybe not at the start, but eventually it will come to that.” With every good mutant fighting to protect those around them, there was a bad one hungering to light the flames of discrimination and blood. The Brotherhood represented the other side of the spectrum from what he understood thus far judging on the stories. Pietro narrowed his eyes skeptically, finding any reason to call out the girl on fibbing. He wasn’t an avenger, he wasn’t significant enough to be given the whole lost sibling trope. “Really, what point would you have to lie about this? I believe you. Just because I’m not exactly looking for another sister either in case you and Wanda share certain similarities, doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be open to getting to know you. Erik ruined the naive image I had of my father, you didn’t.” Having another sister and father desensitized Pietro’s ability to be surprised by certain news. “A flair for the dramatics. I wonder what else you inherited from him.” Speak for himself. He knew a little something about dramatic. “Go ahead, blindside the man. I hold no obligation in telling him the truth as long as you let me watch his reaction.”
“Do you understand what the Brotherhood really is? Pitting mutant against mutant-- if we aren’t there for each other, then why the fuck do we even bother for equality with humans,” Lorna said in a slight hiss. Pietro brought up a valid point, but not under her watch; she’d be damned if she let mutants harm each other-- there were bigger battle to fight and she needed them all to work together. “I don’t need to be a substitute, Pietro, and that’s just what I’ll end up being for you,” Lorna said as she crossed her arms, her lips thinning. Of course out of the three of them, she was cursed to be an almost exact copy of their father-- the bastard. All the more reason to get rid of him. “Unfortunately more than you or your sister, it seems,” Lorna said with a quirked brow, “ I just came to warn you, not to have a tag along-- just know that Erik won’t be a thorn in your toe for much longer.”

Lorna was never one that hid away from her abilities. She went through that stage all mutants go through-- hiding who you really are just to fit into the societal norms but Lorna decided to stop a long time ago and never look back. A cloud of green waves formed over her hand-- the part of her ability she could never hide when she was using them-- and focused them on the blonde; locating any metal that the stranger had on her. Lorna pulled a pair of aviator sunglasses out of the woman’s jacket pocket-- the shades slowly rotating in front of the woman. “As cool as this is as a party trick, it runs much deeper. I can control magnetic fields-- be it to manipulate metal or use it to fly,” Lorna said as she grasped the shades in her hands, the green hue dissipating once again, “you also have a pager in your back pocket.”

“I guess SHIELD isn’t working quick enough for you.” Accomplishing a seemingly impossible task the not-so-secret organization took on emptying the rest of the Brotherhood’s underground bases was a waste of time from the way Pietro saw it. You cut off one head and three more grow in its place. “Oh, you really have got to be kidding me.” Erik knocked up another woman and ran before he even knew she was with child. It was a sad endless cycle he could have found painstakingly humorous. Pietro coughed out a dry laugh, shaking his head, “You call him the lying snake, but I can’t be expected to trust a word you say either. We just met and you’re claiming that you are, what? My long lost sister?” The words tasted sour on his tongue, “You know my terrible track record as a brother.”
“I don’t trust organizations with the fates of my people when they aren’t ran by my people.” She was grateful that someone was breaking them out-- she couldn’t get to them all, but that didn’t mean Lorna trusted them. SHIELD could just be another place she would potentially have to break mutants out of . Lorna couldn’t help but raise a brow, her green locks bouncing as she shook her head. “Believe me or not, it’s your choice, but I didn’t come here to be your sister-- I definitely don’t need you as my brother. Just because we share our asshole of a father as a connection, doesn’t mean it needs to be more than that,” Lorna offered plainly. Why would she want to commit to a family when she’d been alone all this time? “I just don’t want you to be an idiot and believing his sugar coated lies-- and do me a favor, don’t tell him about me. I want to reveal myself at the right time.”

Great. Another stranger who knew most of everything there was about him. While Clint forewarned Pietro of Erik’s existence before the man dropped by for that visit, a sarcastic green-haired girl would have made him think she was Hydra had it not been so obvious Magneto couldn’t keep silent. “Are you with the Brotherhood? If you think you can use a nonexistent connection between us to bring him down, I won’t no part of it.”
“With the Brotherhood? They wish, no. I work to free the mutants that are in their circles and liberate them,” Lorna said with a tilt of her lips. She might have the power of her father, but damned would she let fear stop her from helping those who can’t help themselves-- the trapped, the vulnerable. She would step up and be their savior. “Nonexistent? No, no-- it’s very existent seeing as we share Erik as a DNA giver when he decided to impregnate our mothers and then run. I may hate the Brotherhood, but I hate Erik Lehnsherr more. I don’t need your help taking him down, just giving you a friendly warning not to believe a word the lying snake says-- he’s a coward.”

That’s a long sad story that you don’t deserve.
Like I said, I know enough-- born in Sokovia, twin brother to Wanda who’s currently MIA, developed your latent mutant abilities due to experiments after your family died, and most importantly hounded by a man by the name of Erik Lehnsherr. I found a lot out by following him around and he is not quiet-- that old man isn’t as smart as he thinks he is.
