This whole post is wonderful, but I think a lot of people don’t realise just how rare bilateral gynandromorphs are. Research has shown that only approximately 1 in 6,000 butterflies is a bilateral gynandromorph! So thanks so much @oddity-txt for sharing this wonderful being with us!

How this happened, as far as I'm aware: Someone on Reddit realized that since asexuals made up 1% of the world's population, they'd outnumber the entire Danish military force by quite a bit. There's now an entire subreddit and Discord server dedicated to this meme. I'm just as baffled as you are.
I'm not sure that this includes aspecs, but I do believe it does - much of the discussion on the subreddit centered around which communities would play what roles, and so it might also include the aromantic community as a whole.
