In December my class was@sat taken off the timetable at the gym where I trained three times a week. As a consequence I lost my training mojo as big and busy gyms just aren’t for me. Add to this a whole bunch of stress and the willpower left and the weight crept on. Although I practice what I preach with my diet, I allowed a few too many wine oclocks. Snacking became a daily habit. This weekend as I was writing another nutrition plan for a lovely client embarking on her journey to health, I felt a bit of a fraud. I knew I needed to take some action to get back to the lean and happy person I was this time last year. Plus I was conscious that my husband was also becoming a couch potato which did nothing to encourage me. So, I approached it in the only way I know how, did my research, wrote my wishlist and came up with a plan. Small quiet gym, onsite spa and pool, not far from home. As soon as we visited after work, I knew it was what I needed. A little retreat which will give me the location to become my best again but also with a little luxury where I can take my laptop at weekends and focus on my self employed business. Plus my husband can get back to his regularly swimming and we can enjoy a healthy post workout breakfast or lunch together. Yes even fitpros need a kick up the backside to stay on track. Looking forward to being back in control again #nutritionist #fitpro #practicewhatyoupreach #sortingmyselfout #metime #focusingonmyself #itsnevertoolate #myfitnessjourney https://www.instagram.com/p/B0ymMPVnxWD/?igshid=xtkbearhrt0n
