We destroyed Michael Jackson for his eccentricities, and the real monsters were the normal guys like Bill Cosby, Kevin Spacey, Weinstein, and others. Sorry Michael

The 2nd Amendment is no longer the right to bear arms. The 2nd Amendment has become the right to take lives. The 2nd Amendment is no longer aiding citizens. The 2nd Amendment is now abetting murderers.
When the laws don’t work, the laws must change.
Well, clearly you failed 9th grade Social Studies.
You know… I honestly don’t remember how did in 9th grade Social Studies?
I did okay majoring in Political Science and American Government in undergrad though. I graduated summa cum laude so I figure I must have learned something?
Law school also went alright I guess? I did somehow manage to get an article about the constitutionality and modification of excessive force laws through out the 50 states placed in a national publication. And I also managed to pass the Bar Exam.
But yeah it’s totally possible I failed 9th grade social studies tbh. I was a little shit when I was 15 and gave no fucks.
I read an article last week about how yoga in America is exploiting its Native Culture; and have read sooo many posts/articles recently about how exclusive yoga feels to much of humanity as a whole It makes me so fucking sad. It makes me sad that our side of the world has taken this sacred practice and turned it into a fitness regimen that mostly thin, white women are seen doing. Most of them wearing overly-priced yoga pants and practicing a ridiculously advanced posture It makes me sad that our world puts human-beings... magical fucking beings... into boxes. We cannot continue this. We don’t fit. We never will. We are too expansive, too transformative, too magical, to be so contained I’m swearing so much because I’m angry. I’m angry and sad that there are so many people in this world that feel like they can’t practice yoga because they don’t fit into the box That individuals feel that their bodies are not enough to practice yoga That our Indian brothers and sisters who have been practicing their entire lifetime don’t feel like they belong in the typical yoga class That ANYONE feels that way due to the color of their skin That our side of the world has taken a rich, colorful, + spiritual practice of togetherness, unity, and wholeness... and turned it into a trend that separates us That there is any person of any shape/size/ethnicity/gender that has ever been into a yoga class and felt anything other than fulfillment I feel the shift happening, but there is still so much work to be done. There is still so much work that needs to be done amongst the community (and world as a whole) and the way we are portraying + sharing this sacred practice/life I believe in the practice so much. Because it reminds me that I am you and you are me. You are me and I am you. We are so much more the same than we are different and this practice shows us that I know it. I feel it. I am it. You are too. Xoxox
Today's workshop was soooooooooo beautiful. I have no words. Which is RARE for me!! 😂 but seriously... So much love to all that shared it with me, these practices wouldn't be anything without you 💓💓thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 #ahimsafamily #practiceandalliscoming (at Ahimsa Yoga Studio Elmhurst)
Women everywhere, celebrate you not only today, but EVERYday. Honor your values. Recognize your beauty. We are fierce, we are love, we are the divine feminine. So blessed to know all of the incredible women in my life... and also to follow so many inspiring women here on social media that continue to empower, LOVE, and shine their light. Today, and every other day, I celebrate myself by letting my hair run wild... by not feeling like I have to wear makeup everyday, (but wearing it when I WANT too...) by being true to myself + my values and allowing my most authentic form of Self shine through. How do you celebrate yourself? We're all unique and that's so incredible in itself... I'd love to hear your take on celebrating your femininity 🙏🏻 share below! Happy international women's day Goddesses ❤️ #womenunite #divinefeminine #internationalwomensday
I guess I’m a little weird. I like to talk to trees and animals. That’s okay though; I have more fun than most people.

"Freedom from wanting unlocks the real purpose of existence." ~Patanjali This mornings class was focused on aparigraha // detaching ourselves from anything that does not exist in the only place where pure consciousness can be discovered~ the now. ...feelin' so free 🍃🍃🍃🍃 •Throwback to last week at the beautiful @ahimsayogastudio when I was (as always) playing with some organic movement... and getting into half moon 🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗 #yogahighs #yogi #aparigraha #nonattachment #practiceandalliscoming #movewithintention #halfmoonpose #organicmovement #yoga #free

Organic movement is everything. Taking moments to find these movements, to check-in with the body, to discover your magic, and to center yourself. My philosophy when I'm teaching and just within my own personal practice is to take time to travel to each pose, rather than to hurry to the destination. Enjoy the moments getting there. Take time. Listen. Breathe. #practiceandalliscoming #ahimsafamily #soulfulpractice #discoveryourmagic #yoga #yogi #jaynesjournal #enjoythejourney #organicmovement #vibin #yogaeverydamnday (at Ahimsa Yoga Studio Elmhurst)
As "simple" as this pose may look to the naked eye, there is so, so much power in it. We all have so much power and so much MAGIC within ourselves and or bodies, we just have to connect to it. #jaynesjournal Meet me on the mat tonight to discover your magic ✨✨✨ 6PM Restorative~ Ahimsa Elmhurst #dandasana #yogi #yoga #discoveryourmagic #yogitoes #power #soulfulpractice #practiceandalliscoming (at Glen Ellyn, Illinois)
The day I realized that I could create magic within my body, + experience pure bliss within my life // the day I realized I could generate my own freedom, my own place of clarity, pure peace, and pain-free moments // The day I realized I could do this better than any kind of substance or drink EVER could in the past~ ... was the day I set myself free 🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 #yogahighs (at Glen Ellyn, Illinois)

Baking is my favorite 💜💜 had a long but productive (and wonderful) Saturday morning/afternoon, lots of rain, errands, driving & yoga// then came home to hubby cleaning and reorganizing the bedroom 😻😻 ~to say I'm thankful would be an understatement.
