My DM allowed me to cast a spell by drinking a shot for every spell I cast (1 shot per spell level) because my character is an alcoholic, it was a mistake, for both sides. For me, cause I drank almost a whole bottle of liquor even though I have zero tolerance, for my DM cause I cast a lot of spells on level 3 (max for my level).
Needless to say, I'm no longer allowed to cast spells using alcohol.

I wanted to try to map each of the chapters of Marz's incredible fanfic, Titan's Blessing, to a specific date of the calendar she released like two years ago. It didn't always work out, but anyways, here's what I've got so far.

Luz arrives on the Isles; I assume that the two weeks mentioned in Ch. 2 are two weeks + one day, so that camp starts on a Monday
In the beginning of Ch. 4 Luz hints at Eda showing her the potion's Lab the day before
Bump says that the duel between Eda and Lilith happend two weeks ago
I'd wager that the Grudgby game does not happen on a week day (plus Willow and Gus don't seem to have school). Could also have happend the week before
In Ch. 17 Willow remembers that Luz mentioned that Eda prepared for the Feast for the past week
This chapter must happen sometime in that week, since when Luz runs into the kitchen Eda prepares broth for the FoA
Willow says in Ch. 17 that the FoA marks the last day of break before the new semester

Then I went straight into my fire Officer classes after to be eligible for one of two different promotion test which I just recently took! School and work has been on the forefront!
Luckily the next test isnât for another few months so with no looming test or application deadline I can get back to working on my pride and joy thatâs Titanâs Blessing đââïž

Additions: if your viral load is suppressed by medication to the point itâs undetectable, itâs considered untransmittable, even without condoms. Children with HIV+ carriers are usually given medication when theyâre born, to make sure any of the virus doesnât take hold (which we also do to adults who fear theyâve been exposed, itâs called PEP ((Post Exposure Prophylaxis)), which is a month of medication and must be started within 72 hours of exposure).
(Thereâs also PreP - Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, which is taking medication if you feel you are at risk of being exposed to HIV, whether through sexual partners or sharing injection needles)
This is why we need universal free healthcare - so people can go on and have happy, healthy lives despite the HIV diagnosis. Nobody should die or live in fear when the treatment is so damn simple and effective.
HIV is not as deadly as it once was in the 1980s-1990s.Â
Thereâs been a lot of progress in this. So long as youâre taking your medications (anti-retrovirals), itâs essentially become another chronic disease like diabetes or COPD etc. HIV patients nowadays are living into their 60s and 70s and are more likely to die of cardiovascular disease rather than opportunistic infections or AIDS defining illnesses.Â
If the HIV viral load is undetectable, then your CD4 counts (your white cells that are affected by the virus) should normalise. Such that youâre no different to the general population when it comes to infection risk.
Yes, we should all still be precautious, but itâs no longer a death sentence.Â
Stigma remains because of how it is transmitted.
We need to share this information as widely as possible.
