"Why are you dissing James Bond?" Personally, James Bond is a 'watch the pretty action scene choreography' kinda film. Serviceable way to spend an afternoon, but Ive never been *excited* for a James Bond movie; and "has cool art on cards but dont really care for the plot" isnt a Good Thing for Magic Story.

I’m not saying every James Bond movie is a winner, but there are some excellent James Bond movies with strong scripts.

uhm, not ironically 🤓👆 i'm a huge james bond fan and there is a lot of good movies out there, you probally should begin with the daniel craig ones (principally with cassino royale and skyfall) but if you dont mind the 60's especial effects goldfinger and on her majesty's secret service are awesome options!!!!!

i am always thinking about transfem grace and i'm always thinking about strattland so i love an au where grace does not go to space and instead gets to keep following eva around saving the world, still in their secret third thing phase, and eventually eva feels like they've become equals in their relationship and she's no longer his boss so she tells him he can call her eva, which grace is happy to indulge, but when she calls him ryland it doesnt sit right, so eventually grace is like "uh actually can you. keep calling me grace." and eva is like. confused for a moment, thinking this is grace trying to keep a distance between them again that has long since faded, but she sees in grace's eyes that's not what's happening here, and there's a nervous energy to grace, and something clicks for her and she softly goes "of course, grace." and the way she says it is. different. more intimate than the years of being called that as a surname. and something about that, about eva recognizing what she was asking for before she did, is the first crack for grace's egg.
