not to be dramatic or anything but amy santiago and spencer reid being co stars is probably the greatest thing thats happened ever
People give Roscoe way too much crap about being a crap piece of jeep ok cause yes maybe he breaks down in the middle of the road every two weeks but give him some slack man he's slammed into and been flipped over by a lot of supernaturals and trekked through forests in the middle of storms and driven to and back from Mexico four times (and he only broke down once!)- which for a few metal sheets held together purely by duct tape is pretty damn impressive
scorch trials highkey the funniest movie ever. aris lurking in the vents and being all mysterious. minho knocking out a guard with nothing but aura and his knee. the concept of mountain people. rachel swapping races or hair colour in the singular book, movie and comic she’s in. why does minho get hit by lightning, everyone is acting like he died, only for him to get up like nothing happened and never mentioned it again. newt and aris somehow having english and texas accents. the ridiculous names janson calls out (rip squiggy my goat). thomas hears “let’s try not to draw attention to ourselves” and immediately gets into a fistfight with a guard. minho and thomas running away from the cranks like headless chickens. the random kid with them who’s only line was in his death scene. which was deleted. rip jack.
What do people think Alby did before he was elected leader? Because he's said to have only recently become the leader once Thomas comes up (Newt calls him the "new leader") so was he just second-in-command to Nick until he died? Or otherwise he must've had some sort of authority in order to have then been made leader, so then was he a Keeper? Of what? Or was he a runner with Newt and Minho?? I haven't read the books in a while so if there are actual answers to this already then my bad, otherwise if anyone just has any thoughts I would be very interested in hearing!!
So I didn't know the answer but I was curious so I looked it up in the books
Btw the wiki says he was a runner but I don't think that's the reason
In the fever code and there's a scene when George was stung (the first time someone was stung) Alby took charge and tried to find a way to heal him but after they gave him the serum George went crazy and tried to kill another boy and the others couldn't stop him (like physically weren't able to) so Alby killed George. I think that quick thinking, taking charge and being able to do this incredibly hard thing to save the others is what made them respect him so much and when they needed a new leader the choice was kinda obvious
Also in the first book Alby mentions that he has been there the longest because everyone who was there before him is dead which (I believe) would make him the next in line as leader. HOWEVER, according to the fever code that is NOT true because it says that at first 40 boys were put into the maze AND Minho and Newt are in the first group and they're not dead so...
This last part is just me ranting lol but I think what happened with George is what made him the next leader

PSA: potential new scam
I don’t know if it’s a new surge of bots and scams, but lately there are a lot of blogs who reblog people’s posts with “tap here for more” link in big text. I looked through some of these blogs, and their blogs are just them reblogging a whole lot of people’s posts with “tap here for more” link. I obviously did not click on the link.
another thing I’d like to add is that these blogs aren’t recently made or empty blogs with no pfp or header. they appear to be normal blogs with pfp, headers, names, bios, fandoms, interests and such. so my guess is that they were genuine, legit blogs before they were hacked. and the hackers use their blogs to spread their link, and potentially scam more people, whatever the link is.
unfortunately it is a well known tactic bots and scammers use — hacking an innocent blog, because they know it’s more convincing than creating a new and empty blogs like before, and then using the blog to help them scam more people.
be careful y’all. if someone dm or inboxes you “I have something important to tell you 🥺 it’s about your account” block and report them. that’s a scam. they will try to convince you they accidentally reported your blog because they mistook you for someone else who scammed them, they may even tell you they have “already gave your blog to the police” then they’ll say something about “don’t worry. you can contact this person *gives you a sketchy discord link*” then “this person” will claim they work with tumblr (lie) and they will tell you you have to change the email you associate your tumblr with to the new one they give you. the second you do that, your entire account is gone. if you change the email you associate your tumblr with to their email, they have full control of your account. that’s how they hack people.
I got phished this way through elaborate password changing. AND THE EMAILS LOOK GENUINE. THEY LOOK LIKE TUMBLR EMAILS.
Remember, if you’re every worried about your account’s status, CONTACT TUMBLR SUPPORT DIRECTLY YOURSELF. ALL THROUGH OFFICIAL LINKS. DO NOT GO TO DISCORD OR WHATSAPP- GO TO THE TUMBLR WEBSITE.
