I think there should be a microblogging platform where the complete text of each post is also its primary database key. Want to make a post with the exact same text that anyone else has ever made? Key integrity violation, try again. This would not benefit anyone in any way.

If multiple identical posts are made via different nodes before the reconciliation process can catch the duplication, which one is canonised is determined entirely at random. The others simply vanish. This would be good for the community, I think.
