Chuckling to myself remembering the time I completely broke a scammer's brain by telling them I use Linux.
Scammer: do you have an apple or a windows computer please?
Me: neither, I use Linux.
Scammer: no no no, I asked if you use a apple or a windows
Me: neither
Scammer: what is the sticker? Is it a four boxes or is it an apple with a bite?
Me: ... I don't use EITHER of them. There's a third operating system called Linux. It isn't a PC or a mac. Please tell me you understand
Scammer: do -- do you know what I mean about apple or windows sir?
Me: yes. I'm a software developer. I understand completely. I'm telling you that YOU don't understand. Its called Linux, spelled L-I-N-U-X, type it into google

yeah i like to give my blessing to the most pathetic looking weak little knight at the tournament. she canât even look me in the eye when i give her my flower and she stutters out that sheâll do her best or something of the like. i think its funny when she has to cry and beg my forgiveness and i get to say âsuch a shame, i suppose my hand in marriage will have to go to someone elseâŠâ and then i get to hear her whimper like a dog. ive done this like 6 times alrea-

I love when people ask "how did you learn this skill?" I just started, there's no secret. that's it. a vast majority of the time the only thing holding you back is your trepidation to start.

economists really took the divine right of kings and turned it into billionaire CEOs
âitâs kinda fucked up to reject the business practices of jeff bezos when he rightfully earned his position under capitalismâ
âAbout twenty years ago, I attended a lecture by a Harvard professor who talked about how corporations operate like modern-day kingdoms. At one time, she said, people believed kings ruled by divine right, and today we seem to believe the same thing about corporations. Toward the end, she asked, âDo you know what it is that allowed people to let go of, overcome, and reject the notion of the divine right of kings?â I held my breath and got ready to take some notes. Her answer: âThey just stopped believing in it.â

Wanderstop is so meaningful to meâ
not because the burnout aspect is relatable to me (yet) but because itâs incredibly resonating.
I find immense beauty in it not only visually but with the way it so proudly shows that in a world of competition, chaos, and differences, peace, with the world and with yourself, is possible and is something worth achieving.
When living with a 24/7 racing mind, slowing down, taking the time to do something small but enjoyable, and reflecting on yourself is a way to heal, a way to appreciate the environment and others around youâ but most of all yourself.
Itâs the importance in taking care of yourself. The idea that one specific thing, one specific skill or struggle does not need to define you. You can carve out your own definition of self when you stop and look at yourself, appreciate the quiet or little things and embrace them. Understand who you are beyond that, and accepting that too, even though itâs difficult. It may feel impossible, you may feel guilt or fear or immense discouragement. But itâs a journey. A journey that at the end of the day will have bumps and obstacles along the road, and you wonât be able to cross the finish line without them. But once you do reach the end of that road, youâll find a future and self you never thought could exist before. And you can start to accept yourself for you.
Thatâs what Wanderstop shows you, other than the central message of burnout. Alta is an inspiration, a beautifully written character that portrays the struggles of human journey and nature very well. We can all learn from herâeveryone has something they can take from Wanderstop whether or not youâve experienced burnout before.
Iâm grateful for the experience of playing Wanderstop. Thank you to Davey Wreden and Ivy Road for this wonderful game :)
On one hand, Iâm glad that more people are waking up to the atrocities ICE is committing and taking action. On the other handâŠ..it only happened after white people were killed. LikeâŠkilling ainât new to ICE theyâve been doing this for years yâall except their victims were browner
In addition, more than just the two white people in Minneapolis have been killed (9 people total this year alone), it's just that none of the rest are white. It's interesting that I only see their names spoken by other people of color. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
Just had the conversation with my dad yesterday that, âitâs interesting the only people whoâve been killed are white, huh?â
No dad, the only people *youâve heard about whoâve been killed* are white. Thereâs been more than the two deaths.

Federal agents have shot three people in Minneapolis in recent weeks, killing two U.S. citizens, Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Videos contradi
There have been several shootings involving ICE agents since Trump's return to office last year.
Are we here to shame people, or to let people know about ICEâs atrocities?
Links for anyone who didnât know about more than the two recent white people killed
