Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Throughout the past months in Gaza, I have lost my home, my stability, and my sense of safety. But there is one thing I refuse to lose: My Education. I am a student who achieved a 91.4% GPA in the Scientific Stream. I have the grades, the willpower, and the English proficiency (C1 level) to compete globally. However, to reach the lecture halls of my dreams, I face a financial wall that is harder than any concrete: $70,000 for international tuition and the required proof of funds.
Why your $1 matters to my academic journey:
You might think $1 is insignificant against a $70k goal, but here is the reality:
$1 gets me closer to the $60 fee for the Duolingo English Test (DET) to certify my language skills.
$1 contributes to the application fees for universities in Canada and Italy.
$1 helps secure the digital tools and stable internet I need to attend webinars and complete my submissions from a displacement tent.
$1 is a vote of confidence that a student from Gaza deserves a seat in a laboratory, not a spot in a bread line.
The Strategy:
I am not asking for the full amount from one person. I am looking for a community of believers. If thousands of people contribute just $1, the "impossible" goal of $70,000 becomes a reality.
I have already proven my resilience by managing medical data at the European Gaza Hospital under the toughest conditions. I am ready to work, study, and give back to the world. I just need you to help me open the door.
