Poob having repressed PTSD, being an escapist who wants to be ignorant to reality but just can't because it's barreling towards him and will inevitably reach him, but not remembering or knowing why, being clueless as to why he's so tense. This being terrifying because, how can you prevent the unkown? How do you protect yourself against something unfathomable to you? Why would you want to face your trauma when you can just do what you like, and be happy all the time! But even that isn't enough, because you still feel scared.
