...just found a comic set in the far-off future date of July 4th, 2026.
Nanotechnology is in children's toys, people ride personal helicopters, and there are spaceships above San Diego.
Bit optimistic for a comic from 2004.
Two out of three isn’t too bad!
Jeff’s new ‘Marvel Rivals’ lore has him be kidnapped DIRECTLY from Gwen Poole herself, by an alternate reality Deadpool (calling her “some cute blonde in a pink and white bikini”), when she was actually with him, Jeff thinking the game’s Deadpool to be his world’s Deadpool, as Deadpool “swept him out of the water and loaded him onto my bus”, away from Gwen.
So she is coming.
I have to imagine Gwen and Kate panicking when they realise he’s gone though: I know fans had talked about the idea of him having been kidnapped from the two of them when they were actually there, but we didn’t think they’d actually do it.
Where can I find this new lore because I have searched for it and have yet to find the quote you’ve provided, or any mention of Deadpool at all. I wanna actually read the lore before I come to any conclusions
The game’s Deadpool returns to his insanity a little.
Deadpool kidnapped Sai and Jeff for the Collector, and then the two captives escaped the gallery together.
there is a question i'm afraid to ask but
gwenpool is canonically aroace, why do people still put her in romantic ships?
Largely they’re not romantic ships, but QPR / QPP ships, since ‘Aromancing of Gwendolyn Poole’ specifically had Gwen be revealed as the variety of aroace who’d actively want a QPR / QPP.
Scenario: Ella Purnell as MCU Gwen Poole, her and Jeff debuting in the next ‘Hawkeye’ project with Hailee Steinfeld, as the big ‘Arcane’ reunion.
Hmmm. Love the idea of getting the Gwenpool and Kate Bishop friendship in the MCU.
Only just recently started watching Arcane, so just in case, no spoilers if you respond to this.
I'm not immediately sold on the idea of Ella Purnell as Gwenpool, but I don't hate it, I could definitely see it.
Tbh, I don't know of anyone perfectly fit for the roll. Part of the reason why I'm afraid of her coming to the MCU.
Here you go!
Hold on i got another fancast for Gwenpool now, look me in the eye and tell me Ella Purnell would not be a perfect gwen
Absolutely.
Wasn’t “unalive” come up with for Deadpool in the ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ animated series before somehow spreading from the audience of that show to TikTok and other places? And even then, in that episode, Peter still used the word “kill” ?
I do not know.
I dunno if it was around before then, but that's the earliest I can think of- That episode was hilarious-
‘Know Your Meme’ and ‘Bleeding Cool’ both have it as first appearing that episode, yes, I just double-checked.
Turtles all the way down: “unalive” is a Marvel creation.
I think Kate should be allowed to blow up stuff more. As a treat.
Gwen has a technically endless supply of weapons stashed away in hammer space and that should be taken advantage of more often
Similar vibes.
Deadpool had four Gwen Stacy maids in the late 1990s, so that sketch of him meeting X-31 has to be awkward for reasons Gwen Poole is ignorant to due to never reading his comics.
DEADPOOL HAD WHAT
What in the actual fuck was happening with Deadpool comics in the 90s this is horrifying
Courtesy of Arnim Zola and Miles Warren: “Gwens One, Two, Three, and Four”. Here is their story: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Gwen_Stacy_Clones_(Proto-Husks)_(Earth-616)
One would imagine Gwen Poole reacting as-such.
Tf is Kraven doing to the Landsharks?
This is Kraven Junior, right? I feel like that then makes him disposable-enough a character for Gwen to kill, and then have his father/one of his half-siblings be revived as the main Kraven. Because this is the sort of thing I’d say gets one a one-way trip to the Gutter.
I'm sorry that I didn't get pregnant but really this is your fault for not cumming harder in my gay ass
Really this is your fault for not stealing a uterus for me

Holy shit did you see that
Do you think aliens could get me pregnant
I hope she lays eggs in me
Like in this art by @G_R_S?
Tell me things to say as Monokuma
Could you read this fan-comic as Monokuma maybe?
Marvel Comics:
Here’s the thing though — this being the Gwen Stacy from ‘Dead No More: The Clone Conspiracy’ means this is literally the O.G. Gwen Stacy still, no fakeout — all of Ben Reilly’s reanimations had their souls back (though Gwen doesn’t know that yet), drawn into new clone bodies from the afterlife (as long as the person being cloned was actually dead: otherwise they had their own new souls, like Ben himself), a fact verified by a very confused Doctor Strange and Death herself.
Man, what is there even to say but “oh, comics.”
What’s funny is that Ben did all of this just before the Krakoan Age started off — so really they got it from him, rather than the other way around: Ben-style instead of Krakoa-style.

Gwenpool #3 (2025)
written by Cavan Scott art by Stefano Nesi & Matt Milla
Why does Kate Bishop speak like she is Deadpool?
Out of all the characters to point out how stupid bringing back Gwen Stacy is it seems bizarre to hear it coming from Kate Bishop.
Because in this scene, Kate Bishop is being whispered to by the ghost of isekai protagonist (and co-parent of their land-shark Jeff) Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Poole, who was temporarily dead at the time after Gwen Stacy accidentally stabbed Poole through the heart.
Gwenpool #4 (2025)
written by Cavan Scott art by Stefano Nesi & Matt Milla
Is Gwenpool Gwen Stacy now? She didn't use to be. She was an Isekai named Gwen.
I'm so out of the loop man.
Gwenpool is still Gwen Poole. The initial antagonist of this new series was a Weapon X-revived Gwen Stacy (the actual Earth-616 Gwen Stacy, re-revived after ‘Dead No More’), designated Weapon X-31, who someone dressed up in Poole’s suit (but in purple).
Essentially pitting Gwen Poole against a physical embodiment of every misconception that ever there was as to who she is. The final issue is now set to see Poole and Stacy teaming up against the real enemy.
There's a Kate Bishop van?!?!?!
What is it called?!?!?
There’s a license plate reading ‘HAWKVAN’ in bold text with an arrow going through the word.
