Some thoughts I’ve had on intersectionality lately:
white queer people who are silent on Palestine and other similar issues/ignore such issues fall in line with white supremacy/fascism more than their queerness challenges it.
In their desire to maintain the comfort that remaining blissfully ignorant on these issues gives them, they put their whiteness before their queerness and become unsafe people for queer poc and poc in general.
A lot of white queer people that do this pinkwash their own identity, I.e they say they are progressive and inclusive but they remain silent on issues that do not directly affect them/issues that their whiteness protects/shields them from - such behaviour cannot truthfully be described as inclusive, these people are not inclusive and so, as said above, are unsafe people for poc
