You can call me Al, Alana is fine to or just whatever part of my username you wanna shorten. Prefered Pronouns is she/they but really I don't care a whole lot about that because I'm still figuring out what I like best so any are fine.

Interests are mainly Book, Movie and Show focused and a lot of high-fantasy and some historical. Also some minecraft smps.

Not really any DNI but if you say something hatefull you will get blocked. I'm here to have fun and don't plan on letting people ruin that. I don't really mind NSFW stuff but I feel uncomfortable if it's directed at me so keep that out of dms, comments and asks.

I do also write but that happens once every blue moon so don't count on anything lol.

Interview with the Vampire Hadestown! AU

I saw a beautiful TikTok about this and it has not left my mind since; I need people to scream about this with PLEASE😭😭 so we have the obvious ones:

Lestat: Orpheus

Louis: Eurydice

Armand: Hades

Daniel: Persephone

I’m thinking Claudia HAS to be the fates (with s1 and s2 Claudia both being present because they have to). And Lestat and Louis being haunted by both of them??? It’s too good I fear.

I also think that it would be really cool for spring/summer/up top! Persephone to be portrayed by young Daniel and then fall/winter/underground! Persephone be portrayed by current Daniel??? Because up top! Persephone is party animal which SCREAMS young Daniel of course hehe and then underground! Persephone is the version of her that we actually see with Hades, and current Daniel is the only version of Daniel that we actually see with Armand (s2e5 you’ll always be famous, don’t think I’ll ever forget you).

I haven’t given much thought into who other people would be (mainly Hermes, im very uncertain on this one). I’m begging someone please talk to me about this

AU where thralling someone causes them to act as whatever you want most out of them, instead of just whatever you command. And obviously, OBVIOUSLY Scott tells Owen to thrall Legundo, using the lie that it could make turning him easier, when really he just wants to stir the pot.

Owen only really wants Legundo to be Louis.

So after blood is traded, Legs begins to act exactly as Owen remembers Louis. Gentle. Soft. He doesn’t raise his voice. He invites Owen to his house, and they share tea.

Owen’s mind is constantly whirring between i) Legundo found out more about Louis and is doing this to mock me, ii) Louis is possessing Legundo, and iii) Legundo is the living reincarnation of Louis.

But eventually, Owen asks to turn Legundo again. And he says yes, of course, I would love to live eternally with you, my dove. And when he’s turned, the thrall is gone. And he’s just the Doc again.

My favorite thing about Armand is that, beyond being scary and intimidating in an ancient vampire way, he’s also weird and off putting in a way that feels both hilarious and endearing. He does things that no other vampire in existence would ever consider. Goes through a divorce and proceeds to join AA because of his love for steps and rituals? Brilliant! Deranged! Lovely! Dresses up as Louie’s employ so he can wait hand and foot on the man he’s been secretly in love with for 50 plus years? That’s innovative in its insanity! He’s mimicking human behavior in ways never before conceived of and doing a piss poor job at it! It’s awkward and charming, and ironically, the most human thing about him.

It seems like people are automatically assuming that ghost Claudia is 100% telling the truth in regards to her feelings towards Lestat and Louis rather than saying things she knows will hurt Louis out of rage at being stuck in purgatory while he reads her diary entries to her rapist and gets back together with his ex who abused her. Ghost Claudia is clearly in so much pain over her death and separation from Madeleine and is lashing out in the only way she can.

I really don’t think the seance is retconning the Louclaudia relationship into her always having preferred Lestat. I think it makes it clear that Claudia was more easily able to manipulate Louis than he was aware of, or wanted to be aware of. But I also think the ambiguity and the fine line between love and hate remains.
