one piece of jewelry you can’t go anywhere without: I’ve worn the same jewelry for years, I never take my piercings off, so basically, all of what I wear. However, if I had to choose, I’d say my set of rings: engagement ring, my wedding band, my late husband’s wedding band. It’s way too big for my finger, but I block it with my engagement ring, so it won’t ever slip.

most worn shoes: My New Rock boots. I love them to pieces. I’ve worn the same model for 15 years, they’re very versatile, extremely durable (I’ve had my current pair since 2019), and once they’re properly broken, SO comfy. I hike with these shoes, I went to countless concerts/festivals in them… the only downsides are that I have to take them off at the airport because the metallic sole systematically sets the metal detector off, and they’re pretty heavy, so it’s a bit challenging to dance when wearing them.

new book/fic that has you in its grip: For some weird reason, ever since I lost my husband, I have been incapable of reading « real » books. Which is another source of despair for me as I used to be an avid reader. I can still read fanfiction, though. Go figure. Anyway, at the moment, I’m deeply invested in everything the amazing @malfoyesque and Feistyferret write. Wednesday is currently my favourite day, because that's the day they update their WiPs (respectively "Immaculate misconception" and "Forgotten Threads").

most recent kitchen fails: I recently bought a spice mix at the supermarket, and used it very liberally on a stir-fry I was cooking. I never noticed the 1st ingredient of that mix was salt… The dish ended up edible, but much saltier than I would have liked. Does that count as a fail ?

a piece of media you have been wanting to watch for ages but never got the time to: My best mate has been hounding me to watch "Yellowstone", and I will, it’s just that my mum spoiled most of the story already, so it’s a bit difficult to find the motivation to watch it now that I know what’s going to happen…

latest character to enter brainrot mode: All the BG3 companions. I love them all to death (especially Astarion).

Eddie Munson, from season 4 of "Stranger Things". I even cosplayed him last year for a convention. It was fun !

best part of princess bride is that inigo loudly and openly states to anybody who will listen that he's going to kill a guy for revenge and has been chasing this for a while and instead of anybody saying "but revenge wont bring ur father back are u really sure that killing this guy will make anything better arent u scared of regretting the one thing uve spent ur entire life chasing" they're all just like "yea dude sounds cool hope you find him" and then he does and inigo kills him and is just "aw cool my dads avenged now i can go ride off into the sunset with my friends" and i think thats actually really great. yea maybe revenge isnt always the answer but it sure does make you feel better
