before starting my rant i wanna say smth

1. why don't people comment?? im talking about both here and on ao3, like seriously even if you only leave a simple heart emoji, a thumbs up, or type a 'good' 'nice', 'liked it', don't people realize how profound effect it will have on authors?? i urge everyone to plspls comment not only on my posts, but also on other people's blogs. forget the likes, nothing compares to a comment typed by y'all. always spread more love guys!

2. i wanna say y'all can always rant to me, literally the comment section of my blog is your safespace to rant, bitch abt anything and everything related to life. im always there foy y'all, im sat, im listening, y'all have my shoulder to lean and cry on.

so now, this is another rant incoming because technically if I had become productive and not let the writer's block affect me, then till now i would have published a smau and another part of i was never yours but idk... im feeling so fucking depressed these days like wtaf am i doing with my life? im 18 yet there's no growth or scope in any aspect of my life-

health? its gotten worse. i think i've ruptured the mucus lining of esophagus due to overdose of folic acid pills (the doc gave me the dosage but its not sitting right with me) coz im experiencing serious pain in my food pipe and having occasional heartburns.

love life? none. im still an amiable extroverted skinny ass lowkey ugly nerd who everyone wants to be friends with but only on a surface level, nobody wants to go into deep convos or talk about who you really are as a person.

career? education? nothing. im still going thru my exams phase and only scoring above average marks and this shit is hurting me coz ik my capabilities and like my intellectual level. and these pathetic marks that im scoring is a grave injustice. ughhh seven year old aria would literally be so ashamed of me. like wtaf am i doing wasting these braincells away. its not like im not putting efforts or im not studying, im trying to balance both my responsibility as an asian daughter of a middle class home to score top merit marks but also not sacrifice my social life (i haven't got any, social life only refers to calling those two friends ive got) or like sacrificing my passion (aka bed-rotting and reading and writing, which again im not able to do)

everyone of my age is able to keep up with the rapid pace of this world, everyone has got future plans and backup plans and then there's me. idek what I want to do is really what I want to do. my age is moving so fast like what the heck do you mean im 18 alr an adult, and i haven't even completed my first manuscript that i wanna publish someday? this is so fucking disheartening.

then cue those existential crisis thoughts and like the doubts of what if? what if i don't fulfil my dreams of becoming a successful author and getting that doctor's degree for my parents? what if i never get to enjoy, experience my youth years? what if everyone leaves me? what if i never find a partner or love that i deserve? ifstg what if this what if that fucking what if i die the next morning suddenly??!????

but ive alr fucking wasted 18 goddamn years!!!???? this is so fucking anxiety inducing shit. (also idkw i always feel like im such a attention seeking, victim-playing bitch like i seriously dk whats wrong w me to have such a fucked up perception of myself, the voices in my head always make me feel that maybe i do am the problem)
