The Arc of Asylum

Bruce Wayne's character arc should be that he hangs up the mantle of the Bat after he trains Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Oracle, Ace, and befriends Catwoman, because his crusade was never actually about fighting crime. It was about fighting loneliness.  The establishment of the Bat-Family closes the loop on Batman's loss of parents. That was the story the whole time. That can also be his final triumph against the Joker - escaping the cycle of violence and abuse, instead of perpetuating it. Bruce reaches catharsis, while the Joker remains lost in the chaos of his unfulfilled desires.

Longharbor is an upcoming maritime horror comic inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft and The Thing (1982 film).

Synopsis:

Years after surviving the mysterious tragedy that led to the death of his whole crew, Gary recounts the events of it to a journalist, as the ship takes them back to the infamous shores of Longharbor, where it all happened. A journey between reality up above and the nightmares below the waves, in which men are just as cruel as the monsters they’ll encounter.
