Holy hell
I don't know why I made this.
They gotta nerf the bishops
in chess the queens can kill each other which is toxic yuri and the kings can never get within a square of each other which is doomed yaoi
prev dont leave this in the tags
Literally the definition of imperialism and classism. Doesn’t matter how many peasants you sacrifice as long as the most powerful piece is left standing
Proximity of bishops to the rulers promotes theocratic oppression
the horse is so fuckable
in chess the queens can kill each other which is toxic yuri and the kings can never get within a square of each other which is doomed yaoi
Femboy white king from hit game chess
Fools will resign. Skilled players will force a draw. But only the true grandmaster will find the winning move of sacrificing the rook on B6 to summon the left leg of Exodia. To avoid losing on the next move, the opponent is forced to capture White's knight to prevent summoning the final piece, but this is a trap. If Black takes with the bishop, it leaves the critical J9 square undefended, allowing White to play Queen to J9, forking Black's cruiser and the already damaged aircraft carrier. However, if Black takes with pawn, this hangs the Marshal on D5, and finally, Black can under no circumstances can Black take with the rook, because this blunders a checkmate in 27 where the White queen captures Kamkutchka and infiltrates the entire Asian continent. The only move for Black is in fact to give a check with the Marshal, which also forks the problem knight. Now, this looks like a drawn endgame, but it is not over, because White plays the absolutely devastating Queen to G6 check, forcing the Black king onto Park Place and causing Black to lose $350. It seems like there are no more checks from here and the king can escape, but in fact this game is over, because White has the brilliant move: the dark square bishop, which has been in the Lounge the whole time, goes through the secret passage to the Conservatory, and now we have the position featured in last week's puzzle where White can deliver a mate in 5.
there’s definitely a gulf between someone who knows how to play chess and someone who plays chess, but it’s nothing compared to scrabble
Do I need to Google something?
google Nigel Richards scrabble
Holy hell

game of chess but with real people but all the pawns are trans women and if they get to the eighth rank they get a lifetime supply of estrogen
nope!
It is too. they just have to take some pieces to not get in each other's way.
Are there enough pieces to do that for every pawn though?
yes. easily.
Show me.

Wow. Good work.
i was asked to post this, speedrun is heating up
Interesting that both go beyond the original parameter of "promote all pawns" and also avoided capturing any of the promoted queens or the original queen, thus also making the maximum number of possible Queens on the board (18 Queens!). I suspect it would be possible to shorten the number of moves a little if you allowed Queens (whether original or promoted) to be captured. It's also funny in that White and Black kept alternating between having forced mate sequences

a knight can only move to the closest squares that a queen can't move to. but i would prefer a variant where a knight can move to any square a queen couldnt move to.
pictured: a queen's legal moves / a knight's legal moves
"but emnesoi doesnt that mean both players start in checkmate" that's why they call it the beautiful game
