I kind of have a theory why wu caused the merge (but it's more of a fanfic idea so it probably doesn't make sense)

But basically, Wu caused the merge to protect Lloyd

When the first merge would have happened, the first spinjitzu master, who was probably a conduit, was there to prevent it. So I think that merges have something to do with conduits.

The first spinjitzu master might have had a vision about a second merge and another conduit. But he also knew that the conduit would come from his bloodline. (Doc/someone on twt said something about a green ninja related prophecy we don't know anything about yet)

The first spinjitzu master passed the knowledge of that to Wu, but he wasn't specific enough.

Wu figured out that Lloyd would be the next conduit on his own. (He comes from the fsm's bloodline and is already a powerful green ninja)

And because wu didn't know where the dragon cores were, the only other way to prevent the merge would have been to get rid of Lloyd, which he just couldn't do, and didn't want to. The reason the merge happened too early was because Lloyd's age had been messed with (tomorrow's tea)

But that's basically it (hopefully I'm not talking complete nonsense, but this is more of a fic idea sooo)

I wholeheartedly believe that Wu still considers Morro a little baby the same way i KNOW he sees in Lloyd. All he ever does when he looks at Lloyd is see his little misguided nephew and can’t help but just pat him on the head, give him candy, and tell him to go play with his friends.

Lloyd is (supposedly) an older teen, and his friends are the ninja, who are laughing at him as they ask if he wants to play dolls, let alone make believe.

I know, i just know, that when Wu first saw Morro again, all he could think is “wth happened to the baby.”

I KNOW, FOR A FACT, that when Morro came back on the Day of the Departed, and helped Wu and the ninja, Wu immediately just started babying him again. Pinches his cheek, pats his head, tells him to wear something warm, tells him to go have fun with his friends safely.

Right in front of the ninja.

Despite Morro about to leave again, and the ninja’s hatred of him, they can’t help but make fun of him when Wu runs to get the bounty ready.

Honestly it mostly can be tied to the sibling duo parallels. There is not much individual proof yet but it makes sense to me. I had a post somewhere about it.

Figured out Wu’s hair at last

Don’t ask me what hes wearing, decided he deserved some casual clothing and thought he’d be the type to wear oversized comfy clothing.

Anyway, his hair is so fluffy….

So like we’re just not gonna talk about how Garmadon’s whole life was spent doing horrific actions that he couldn’t help do as he’s burdened from the guilt of harming others and himself and pushing away everyone he so desperately loves and wishes to protect, and Wu’s whole life was spent trying to prevent Garmadon from doing something horrifically irredeemable and actively stopping him from harming others and himself whilst also drawing to the conclusion that his elder brother that he so deeply cares about has to be stopped no matter what and he became desperate to find a way to just end Garmadon because at this point its the only way to save him from himself?
